Like someone else said in their review: It's a Panera. What do you want? They got my order correct, my hot food was hot and my cold food was cold, it tasted good, I got my to-go order quickly. It's all of the things you should expect from a Panera Bread visit. I haven't been to any Panera in a long while, and I forgot how calorie-dense their food is. Thankfully, they have nutrition information on their website, so I was able to quickly determine that the Napa Chicken Sandwich was an OK choice. The sandwich was fine and came on sourdough bread. I ordered the chicken/egg/avo sandwich which was cross contaminated with SAUSAGE crumbs on the sandwich (obviously from kitchen staff not changing gloves) Manager's response "oh yeah the cashier told me. "Toasted" means the bread has been browned on both sides by radiant heat! Why are you all in the restaurant business if you serve me two slices of bread and try to tell me the bread has been toasted when all you did was warm it up? And the idiotic excuse I got from the TM behind the counter, "Maybe because the mayo..." (made it softer/colder) Really?! I make these BLTs better at home and my bread is toasted that it could stand on its ends by itself! TOASTED - surface of the bread is crunchy, crispy - not floppy like a wet noodle! MAYBE I should've just went over to Meijer and bought a slab of bacon and drive home to make this myself! This one came out a LITTLE better, but the first one felt and looked like you warmed up the bread not toasted it. Get with the program! And yes... Ordered a full size sandwich and a full size salad. When I got back to work, the 2 sides of French bread wasn't in there and missing utensils. I checked the front of the bag and the worker checked off that everything was in the bag. Clearly everything was NOT in my bag. Look at these big ass slices of cucumbers! It's bigger than a tea can. How am I suppose to eat them?! Definitely need a wide mouth for these. And since they didn't put utensils in my bag, I can't cut them up. Placing a mobile order is pointless now, because of Covid, you still have to wait in line and ask for your food. I have the Unlimited Sips membership, and often order just a drink. 9 times out of 10, my cup isn't sitting out for me, and I have to wait in line to ask for a cup. There is no hot water container for customers; you have to ask an employee for hot water. They're always running out of pastries and bakery items. They put their lemonade away about 2 hours before close, which is frustrating as well. You then have to get an employee to go to the back to get your drink. They've been very unorganized for at least the past year! read more

Normally I have a good time here. Yes I expect Panera Bread to be a bit more on the higher end for sandwiches and such. I look at them as more of THE major coffee chain version of soups and sandwiches, so yeah it's higher prices. But, even understanding that, imagine my shock at the nearly $10.00 bagel (pictures attached). After speaking with the manager and general manager, I was told that it was done correctly, and yes I am going to eat it. It better be a kick butt tuna salad in an equally butt kicking bagel. As I am always interested in being fair, I did expect the cost of things here to expensive. I always do like the taste of the food, and frankly have not been disappointed, even going so far as enjoying the leftovers. And I do so love the sourdough bread bowls, not just for the novelty of them (come on, a bread bowl? That is always neat, no matter how many times I have them.), but I am pretty picky about sourdough and Panera DOES get pretty close to what I would consider the ideal sour dough bread and I have never been disappointed. Back to the sandwich. It's an everything bagel with tuna. It has the tomato, lettuce and onion plus tuna. The tuna filling (if you've never had it here) is a bit on the sweet side but that's due to the relish in the tuna salad. Relish is not something *I* would use, but I learned long ago that it's a common ingredient in tuna salad. Not off putting at all, but I felt it was important to add that just in case there is someone who has never had relish in tuna. All in all it's a good sandwich, but it isn't nearly $10.00 good. Part of my confusion, I think, is that for me the menu is a tad difficult to decipher. Perhaps something I could have done would have been to ask about that before I finished my order, or as the cashier is getting ready to finalize the order she/he could read it back WITH prices. At any rate, this is a decent sandwich at a very high cost, and when I brought it up to the manager and general manager here, I essentially received "we made your order right." Not exactly the right phrase to make an issue better or help a customer out. That's why I gave it a two star. Decent/good food is one thing but resolving issues is critical. Offer choices, ask more probing questions, explain the process in the back, assure me that I got a good value for what I spent. Not much of that was done well or at all. read more

Based on the reviews (2 stars at the time of this writing) it would appear this Panera has had a rather rough go of it. But, luckily for me, that was not my experience. I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat early in the morning as I was heading back to Indy and decided to stop in. I went with simple egg and bacon bagel sandwich and wasn't disappointed. It was ready quickly, tasted fine and the service was polite and friendly. And it gets bonus points for being close to the interstate and having plenty of parking. Not really sure what all the fuss is about but I had a very pleasant visit. Yeah, I'd swing back by if given the chance. read more

Tried Panera breakfast for the first time here. The place was clean and well staffed. Our food was ready quickly. The sandwiches are bread forward, which is to be expected at a bakery. After sitting in pickup line for 10 min, they informed me that they were out of the bread for my sandwich. 20 minutes later they bring me the sandwich from my order. What a complete disappoint. Came to this Panera location and order some sandwiches for family members in the hospital and this location fell super short of my expectations. I ordered the New Tuscan sandwich and got some type of sandwich that I could have made for less than $5.99. The sandwich was bland and the bread was hard as croutons. This was crouton sandwich. I also ordered the Modern Caprese sandwich. This also feel short of expectations for $5.99. The sandwich barely had any cheese or tomatoes on it. The bread was super hard and crunchy like croutons. Subway could save better sandwiches than this Panera location. Super disappointed and I completed wasted my money. The sandwich was not even close to the image advertised or shown on the order screen. They show images to entice consumers but in actuality disappointed in the execution and the content of the sandwiches. Wow how can they sell something in an image only to make a sandwich that did not meet the visuals on their menu screen. Their delivery is consistently wrong, it was delayed and delivered later than indicated and it was a mess. I received the wrong drink, my sandwich was on two different breads. One half was on a hard end of a loaf and the other was half was on a soft country white. I did not receive my baguette or butter . I called and was told my drink was still on counter and they where training new people, you pay a higher price for food when delivered, could it at least be correct and a halfway nice presentation? This place has such clutch/awesome lobby and dine in area. I would say I think my favorite in the E-hood. It's so elegant, private, clean and nice vibes. I also would like to say the employees here are awesome and top notch. Always super friendly and polite. I did go there one time a while back and one of the employees hit on me lol. The reason I bring it up is because she was very appropriate about it, quite honestly smooth operator, but they are very professional even while being off topic if you know what I mean. They are super fast I never think of Panera as a fast food place, but they are light years faster than the McDonald's crossed the street is now days regardless of if you use the drive through or dine in option. Also they have never messed up my order, which I very much like. So now on to, the important stuff, the reason for the rating, the food. It is good. Zero chicken in salad ordered with chicken. Women's bathroom stall trash overflowing with used pads and tampons; trash and standing water all over sink counter. Outdoor trash cans overflowing with flies everywhere and it's only 11:45 AM - obviously no one is doing any clean up. This place is another reason why Englewood is going downhill. read more

What a disappointment. For a place that specializes in bread and to be out of so many kinds was bad. But it got worse. I ordered a chicken avocado BLT and the avocado was black and they could only make half a sandwich with the bread I chose (and it was stale). Also the silverware was nasty dirty. The manager that is working there today 8/13 @ 2:00 pm is very rude. We ordered at 1:30 and noticed around 2:00 our food is still not ready. Then I went up to the manager about our food.
