TJ Chumps is good, back when I used to live here as a kid I would be here every weekend with my friends and family. I came for lunch with my dad today and it was good. It wasn't anything amazing, I got the clubhouse with chips and dill dip. I do love the dill dip they have there. My dad got the buffalo chicken wrap and he liked it. 3.5 stars, rounded up. This place is exactly as I'd expect a sports bar to be. It has a solid menu with typical items like wings, ribs and burgers, unusual items like shredded salmon tacos and portobello chicken salads, TVs scattered across all the walls, tons of seating, and a full bar. I ordered the steak with fully loaded mashed potatoes. I didn't expect much for the low price but it was very tender and cooked to a perfect medium temp! It even came with a salad that was as big as their full dinner salads. We stuck with simple Tito's shots and vodka cranberries even though Long Islands were super cheap (on special when we went). I was impressed by the pricing here; we ordered five rounds between the two of us (aha I'll only claim two of the 10 drinks as my own!) and three entrees (burger, chicken salad and a steak) and it was about 102$. There's mini golf out back; not sure if it's attached to the bar or not, but hopefully I'll get to check it out before I leave Ohio. Always happy to go here. They're always friendly and welcoming. The food is fast, hot and delicious. It doesn't matter what you get, it won't disappoint. We always prefer to sit outside under the roof. They have fans and TVs out there and the bar as well. I do wish it was a little cheaper but when you combine the food quality, drinks, customer service, and the outdoor seating, it makes it easier to eat the bill. That said, the only reason I've patronized this establishment is because of my co-workers' desire to meet up here occasionally for lunch. So what did I get for $25? That being said, it is more gluten friendly in the sense that they have a shared kitchen, there is no dedicated GF space. For this reason, you should really verify how specific items are cooked, i.e. French Fries. While they are listed as GF, there is no separate fryer, so CC is almost guaranteed. The ribs are a safe option. For a decent price. The service was fast and friendly. If you happen to be in the Englewood area, it is a close option that isn't Chipotle. read more

The bun was stale and cold, and the carmelized onions looked like something you find under a pot in the garden. I like the concept of the burger but the Cole slaw didn't have that kick you expect. Second, we ordered a cheeseburger for 1 of my kids. The burger was THE SAME SIZE as my burger that I paid twice as much for. My only complaint: one of my FAVORITES is the ribs, but when you order it online you can only choose a salad for your side. But the atmosphere was as if I was bothering them to come in for dinner when they would rather close and be gone. I understand this - but I asked first if it was too late. It is April, and it really isn't important to know the local girls basketball schedule from last December. And how about the event fundraiser that took place in early March. I'm very aware of good/bad service and it's kind of amazing I don't have a single service complaint. They're always friendly, attentive and whenever it's been a little slow it's because it's exceptionally busy so understandable. The food is very good and they're creative with their monthly specials. Like the front of the house, when you look in the kitchen (as you can in Englewood) you can see they hustle back there! On the surface it has a 'big chain' vibe (even through there are only 4 locations) but, once you dig in, you'll see it's really just a neighborhood bar and grill. read more

Food has always been good. I've always been happy with my service until recently. I was out to eat with my friend celebrating my recent move and enrolling to school. We were both walking back to my place and after having a few shots at her bar the bartender had the nerve to be like, "Are you sure you need another one?" I work all over the place so I'm always looking for new spots to try. A friend of mine suggested this place and we did a pickup order. I got the TJ Chump burger and the mashed potatoes. Every time I've been there I must have picked a good day with a burger special because my whole meal came out to about $8 including the drink. I absolutely love the burger because it's like eating at Frishces but BETTER. It's a pretty good sized burger, and those potatoes must be what dreams are made of. They put cheese on them and holy yum they are delicious!! When you do a pick up order they are so incredibly thoughtful too. They will put the burger in it's own plastic container so that it doesn't ruin your bun. I love that!! Nothing worse than a soggy bun!! I have eaten there several times when I'm in that area and they never fail to amaze me. I have never eaten inside, but every time we do a pickup order, it's hot and ready for us. They have a huge selection of things to choose from, but I can't stop eating that dang Chumpboy Burger!
