    What's I was expecting
    Thomas A.

What I was expecting VS what I actually got I'm very disappointed In this $12 bowl. I guess this is the reason why it's becoming more of a chain like McDonald's than an actual healthy choice

It's that good w no guilt feeling after!

Fast, convenient and great food. Ordering through the app makes it easy for dining in or to go!

The prices for what they give are ridiculous.....14.99 for a roast beef and cheese sandwich with one slice of roast beef? Never again.

They got rid of all the good stuff they had. No more BBQ chicken salad no more Italian sandwich and cheese danish.

Their spring rolls are perfection--crispy, light, and packed with ingredients that taste super fresh every time. The pho and noodle dishes are also amazing. The broth is rich and comforting, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. It's the kind of place where every dish feels thoughtfully made. The service is another highlight. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always happy to answer questions or help with recommendations. The restaurant itself is clean and cozy, making it great for a sit-down meal, but the takeout is just as good--fast, well-packed, and always hot when I get it home. If you're looking for fresh Vietnamese food in the area, The Rolling Spring Roll is easily one of the best. Definitely a must-try in Commack!

He also pushed me to pay with credit card even though I wanted to pay cash. Getting to the food - I got bun bo hue, pho, and egg rolls - I am Vietnamese and I've gotten takeout from places countless times. You are ALWAYS supposed to separate the bean sprouts and mint and lime from the dish. Those are supposed to be optional for the customer. THIS PLACE COMBINED THE NOODLES WITH THE BEAN SPROUTS AND LIME!!! You are not supposed to do that! You are always supposed to package them separately. On top of that, the pho broth lacked a lot of depth of flavor. Also, pho is supposed to come with tripe, eye of round, beef ball, which this pho had none of. Bun bo hue is supposed to be spicy and have pig blood, which this one didn't. It was also not flavorful and was just lacking. The egg rolls also did not taste right and the fish sauce was off. I'm very disappointed with my experience here. This is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Long Island.

But Vicky and the team at Everything Bagel in Commack make it worth your while. Creative. Helpful. Delicious. That's my TLDR synopsis for you. They are always trying creative stuff here - just check their social media pages. French toast croissant BEC - check. But what I came for was the once viral chopped cream cheese. The only place I knew that did it was in Nassau and I couldn't get myself to drink 30 minutes for a bagel. Luckily someone tipped me off that this place could! Vicky got back to me immediately on Instagram to let me know she'd love to make me one, so I was there the next day! And boy did it deliver. For the one I got, you have to like a bagel with lox and all the fixins. But they can make it with any ingredients you want. Just think of it has having your own special blend of cream cheese made. Can't wait to head back and try another one of their fun breakfast ideas!
