And it went really well with my Bacon Turkey Bravo 1/2 sandwich (bacon, smoked turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, gouda on some tomato basil). Super busy dining room, order/register line is packed too and if you don't want to wait in line there are ipad kiosks if paying with a credit or debit card. They seem pretty efficient. Tables are cleaned promptly. Food is delivered to your table fresh and made to order. Cinnamon rolls are soooo delicious. I grabbed a few for my Father's Day boys' morning treat. They loved them too. Loved their "pick 2" option from the menu. Let's me try a salad and a soup or a soup and a sandwich combo easily. Great location just across from the movie theater entrance. Overall, I think Panera is a decent place to eat. Are some of their food items kind of on the expensive side, especially for what you pay for? Yes. Their bagels and pastries are what keep me loyal to this place. I do enjoy their actual food items too... but my issue is 9/10 times that I get a lunch item or get dinner from this specific location, there is someone's hair in it. For reference, my hair goes about half way down my back. The hairs I find in my food are always this size or smaller and are not the same hair color as mine. If it was my hair, I would not care about it going into my salad. Today I finally took a picture of the hair I found in the bottom of my salad... I understand that in the food industry and when it comes to little hairs, it can be difficult to keep hair from falling out because our hair falls out naturally. However, when it is a continuous occurrence at the same location no matter what I order or what time I order, I think this should be a little bit more of a concern. I just ask that there by a little more caution when it comes to serving customers food. Cons: first phone order ever in which they cannot use payment of gift card over the phone and make you come in which is a real inconvenience. Secondly they got my order wrong after I repeated it to the cashier 3x times. Not only that when I came back to correct her and her manager was standing right next to her, there was no apologies given. This is a real disappointment. Also there is no drive through which is another inconvenience like others Pro: although the food is good and provide health choice I recommend using the kiosk from now on to ensure food order is completely correct and ease at your service. I love coming here, and when a vendor brings us Panera Bread food at work, it makes all our stomachs smile happily. The salads are ok & decently portioned, but they always run out of ingredients for sandwiches & salads. Very disappointing. My favorite thing here is the green tea drink. They often tell you they've run out of something when you go to pick up your order for rapid pick up. Which is lame. On a recent visit with my family, we had a hefty order, which we ordered through rapid pick up. Been here a couple of times now when I meet my boss before we head to auction, and it's been pretty consistent. I'm not a frequent Panera-er, but this location seems like a really good size with a friendly staff. It's always refreshing when morning people actually act like morning people instead of acting grumpy that they had to be up so early. I've always liked going to Panera Bread. In fact it was always my #1 choice for a work spot while also getting a bite to eat. So imagine my surprise when I received horrible service not once, but TWICE. Why go back if the first time sucked? Well it was hard to believe so I decided to give them a second chance...they failed on that too. First trip we ordered via the kiosk to skip the long line and found our table to wait for our food. Salads and soup were decent but when I grabbed my silverware I noticed the dried food on BOTH silverware on BOTH sides of each (breathe). No problem I thought, I'll just go get more. I go up to stand at the side of the counter to wait until the Manager finishes taking a customer's order (manners). Instead of addressing me when she finished, she called the next customer up. Word of advice: at least act at bit friendly when interacting with people and NEVER ignore a customer. My waitress (brunette, forgot her name but was very kind) saw me standing with silverware and quickly went to replace it. About 10 minutes later we still didn't receive our coffee. So again, I go back to the counter. Again, I'm ignored. So I go over to the pick-up area and a lady tells me it was already carried out. I politely tell her we never received it. Our waitress (bless her heart) pops her head around the corner and quickly apologizes and says she'll bring us another one. The second visit happened on a Sunday but this is turning into a rant, so just imagine a few ways that it could be worse than the first. I read the the previous sub-4 star reviews and thought, "Well it's been a while so maybe things have changed and gotten better." NOPE. Just recently started eating out again and enjoyed eating at Panera. I placed our order online while sItting on the patio. It was quick and easy. I was glad to see they have some smaller inexpensive combos on the menu now. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes and I picked it up from the pickup area inside. We had a mishap when my husband took my salad out of the bag and it ended up upside down on the table. To be honest I'm not sure if it was our fault or if the lid wasn't on tightly but I told the manager and he replaced it, no questions asked. He was very kind about it. Both had good flavor, but super tiny portions....good for a kid's meal......And, both had minimal amounts of actual chicken in them. I have seen many other Yelp comments about similar issues. Also, when I asked for Ranch dressing (the most popular dressing in America), the manager (?) told me that all the ranch dressings available were "dirty" and not up to the quality standards of Panera (too many additives and ingredients they don't like). Are you telling me that there is not a single dressing manufacturer in the country that can provide you with a "clean" Ranch dressing? I find that very hard to believe. IF it is true, how about just making your own to your standards? Who wants to be forced to use "craft" dressings we don't like on your salads? How about catering to the tastes of the customers and not your own considerations and beliefs? With over 20 different So. Calif. Panera's listed on Yelp, ALL are in the dismal 2- to 3-star ratings categories. WHY?? Just read the recent reviews and you can quickly get the drift of what is going on at these locations. It is not pretty.....And, these are not isolated incidents, as people like me try to give them second and third chances, but they keep failing in assorted ways. On a good note, my male server was very pleasant and speedy with my food, and I am super happy that they FINALLY moved the food menu to the right so people can now actually read it.
