Opted for the Pick 2 with Chicken Caesar salad and chicken rice soup. Both had good flavor, but super tiny portions....good for a kid's meal......And, both had minimal amounts of actual chicken in them. I have seen many other Yelp comments about similar issues. Also, when I asked for Ranch dressing (the most popular dressing in America), the manager (?) told me that all the ranch dressings available were "dirty" and not up to the quality standards of Panera (too many additives and ingredients they don't like). Are you telling me that there is not a single dressing manufacturer in the country that can provide you with a "clean" Ranch dressing? I find that very hard to believe. IF it is true, how about just making your own to your standards? Who wants to be forced to use "craft" dressings we don't like on your salads? How about catering to the tastes of the customers and not your own considerations and beliefs? With over 20 different So. Calif. Panera's listed on Yelp, ALL are in the dismal 2- to 3-star ratings categories. WHY?? Just read the recent reviews and you can quickly get the drift of what is going on at these locations. It is not pretty.....And, these are not isolated incidents, as people like me try to give them second and third chances, but they keep failing in assorted ways. On a good note, my male server was very pleasant and speedy with my food, and I am super happy that they FINALLY moved the food menu to the right so people can now actually read it. First of all, I enjoy admiring the bountiful bakery goods always on display. However, the temptation is so overwhelming that I now just order to go. This works so perfect for me and our family. If you haven't already downloaded the app onto your phone do so soon. Although they will deliver through the DoorDash company I prefer to go pick it up. It's always on the way home from something we're doing. I simply go to my app, click rapid pick up at the store of my desired location, scroll through the menu and select what we want. The wonderful thing about this is that you have an area where you can customize what you're ordering. For instance, on my Greek salad I like extra onions, less feta cheese and less tomatoes. Also extra peppers. It always comes perfect! If you are a soup person, there are plenty to choose from. Our go to is typically the chicken noodle and broccoli cheese. Both are very tasty and ordered by our family at least once a week! I would suggest not ordering the bread bowl with your soup if you're looking for a quantity of soup that's larger than a cup. Just stick with ordering a bowl of soup and request the bread instead of the apples as your side. Many other things on their menu are good but theses are our go to's. That being said I would encourage anyone who likes sandwiches to give theirs a try. Very fresh and made right when you order them, I am a sucker for the vegetarian. I am really stoked that there is a Panera so close to my house now. One of my favorite things there is the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich, which you can make vegan by getting no feta cheese on it. I tried the edamame soba bowl. I was thinking I was getting like a noodle dish with sauce, but it's more of a soup...and comes with bread on the side. I didn't dislike it, but it wasn't my favorite either. I'm glad I tried something new, but prefer the MV sandwich I mentioned above. It would be really great if they made some gluten free options also. My throat tends to swell up when I eat it, so it's not all made up in my head. And when my family likes to go places I like having gluten free vegan options to eat. read more

Totally understand they had to adjust hours recently and close early at 7p vs 9p. Didn't expect them to lock the doors at 650p when I stopped by to order dinner to go. Customers were still inside eating, but people were locked out from picking up mobile orders. Saving yourselves 10m of "work" at the cost of your customer experience is idiotic. The sign on your door says open until 7p. It's not like all of your employees were lined up at the door ready to leave at 7p sharp. read more

So I was there last Sunday, I was in a line for literally 15 mins before I got to order. Another 10 mins for them to get 3 bagels toasted. When I thought I can finally get out of there, she drops my bagels in another customer's soup so I had to wait another 7 mins to get my bagels. I get in the car, I see only 1 cream cheese for 3 bagels but I was charged for 3 cream cheeses. Went to after sisters soccer game. How cliche. Anyway, I normally order a full chicken ceaser salad. It usually fills me up with plenty of chicken and a fair amount of salad. However, I was very disappointed when I received my salad here. The dressing was just dropped in the middle of my salad and there was hardly any chicken. The bread was stale, dived in being busy. I ordered a steak and arugula sandwich. The lady at the register says they don't have any arugula. My brother orders an avocado and chicken sandwich. She tells us there's no avocado. We say ok that's fine and pay for our food. We also order two other items. The waiter brings food that looks like what we ordered to another table. I went to the one on Tuscany in Corona. I got my order and walked out, there was some ladies sitting in front of the store at a table with a DOG on the table. I called and the response I got was we will be sure to sanitize the table when they leave. The correct response would have been ok and we go out and have the dog taken off of the table. But I sat there and watched and no one came out. That is pretty disgusting. Then I get back to work and look at my order I placed and didn't even get what I ordered. They are pretty slacking in many areas. That DOG on the table is a major health issue and it didn't seem to faze the girl that answered the phone. read more

I'm done with Panera bread for good. It's never very good, except for the baked goods. Today I ordered a half Mediterranean salad and broccoli cheddar soup with baguette. My husband got half turkey bravo and chick noodle soup with soft drink. It came to $30. When we got the order, I couldn't believe the portions actually came even smaller than usual. 4 spoonfuls of soup at best and small bowl of salad that wasn't even half full. $30..? Today's lunch: mozzerella & tomato panini with fresh basil and pesto. Super light, fresh, and yummy. With some iced tea that was perfectly brewed and lots of lemon (I hate those places that over-steep and their lemon slices resemble wizened door stoppers.) I love sitting outside with a book or magazine and nomming out under the patio umbrellas. It's a quiet, peaceful environment. Peeps are on their laptaps (free wifi), or have reading material in hand ... and as cheesy as this sounds, it's like a simple, wholesome, lunch Utopia to me. :) read more

Every time I go to this Panera they manage to screw up my order one way or another. The first time they forgot my cheese on my panini, the second time they gave me TWO lousy crutons for my french onion soup AND forgot to add my avocado to my panini when I paid for the avocado! AND this THIRD and final time on my Chipotle CHICKEN panini they didn't put any chicken on it! I checked my receipts each time to make sure the issues weren't my fault and I was very clear on all of them! I order on rapid pick-up because it's convenient for me when I'm going to work and I like to make sure I ordered everything correctly before placing the order. I've gone at different hours every time an issue has occurred. So it's not like it's just their morning staff or evening staff... It just their STAFF!! It's unfortunate but they clearly can't comprehend what's supposed to go on their paninis. Each time it's like they rotate which item they don't feel like putting on a panini! I contacted corporate with my second and third issue. The first time they gave me a gift card for the issue and this time I told them not to even bother because it's clear that it's just going to continue happening! I'm soooooo over this place! Panera has excellent food but the service at this location isn't that good. Most of the Panera locations I've been too have friendly staff. These guys don't take it to the same level. Visited this location on Wed. The employee's were in a panic shouting at each other because a company big wig was going to arrive soon. "where's your badge" "why are you wearing that shirt!?!?" "I don't like using this register, I like the end register". So when a girl finally notices me standing there ready to order, I ask her for a chicken salad with ranch, she says "you'll get it with balsamic vinegar" I said " I only like ranch" she says we don't have Ranch, you'll just get the balsamic. I love Panera and this is the closest location to my house. They have messed up my order a couple times. One time I actually had to send it back because I ordered a 1/2 sandwich & soup combo and I was missing my sandwich, which is a bit ridiculous (an honest mistake, I'm sure, but still like wtf). The food is portioned well and I always leave the perfect amount of "full". It is a bit pricey for how much you're getting, but you're paying for the quality of the food, for which I have no complaints. The staff is polite, the restaurant is clean, and it's a great place to sit down, relax in the usually quiet atmosphere, and have a fresh and delicious meal. read more

I have eaten here many, many times. The food is usually served as ordered, although I have had some issues with consistency. They forget items or serve a tiny salad in a large bowl. Then the next time I come in the salad is the correct size. Or sometimes my soup is just lukewarm. The cashiers can be a little slow, and there is often a long line. The restaurant often has dirty tables, and floor. I don't understand why this is because I have seen several people in the back area standing around. Stumbled upon this little ditty about a year ago...and am hooked. Go there for lunch dates with friends, with my hubby, alone after a great workout at the gym. I have had most of their salads, yummy and fresh. Veggie and fruit combos that taste really good together. You can add on a dessert or pastry for $1 if you get a meal and a drink, the cinnamon buns are too die for, seriously. They have a variety of hot teas (not my thing, but if they were I'd be in heaven) and their cold tea is very tasty. Great service, although during their busy times (like most restaurants)it can be hard to find a seat or a clean table. Ordered for delivery, driver NEVER showed no contact info You can only contact the cafe I contacted the manager and all they could do was refund me, no way to contact the driver or track the order. She mentioned this keeps happening, well maybe if there was a way to contact the driver this wouldn't be an issue with their restaurant, I'm sure this happens in multiple Panera's and in my opinion this is unacceptable. the wait time was an hour and a half and still no food and the restaurant can't re order it for you. I'm deeply disappointed... my food sat up on the counter staring at me for about 15 minutes. I ended up getting up to go get my own food as well as my boyfriends (another customer next to us did the same). I then brought it back to the table and it was cold. My boyfriend got up and asked for it to be re-heated. The lady (I'm assuming the manager) brought us back our food and told us to hurry up before it gets cold again. I've been to several Paneras and I do say this is the largest of all the one's I've seen. I was looking for a sign that said, "Panera Great" or something because honestly one time I walked into a Target and thought, this is the hugest one I've seen, and turns out there is a specially big Target called "Target Greatland". Anyhow, this was a large Panera, and is a big place to chill. Nooks here, nooks there... couches here, tables there... you can sit so many different places, enjoying their free wi-fi, scoping their zany pictures. Food wise, I always love getting the smoothies and asiago breakfast sandwiches. A little more classier than McDonalds and just as good. This place sits close to several golf courses I play, so I come here often. In general, nice place to stop and eat. read more

I really enjoy their bagels and being the savory girl that I am their Asiago Bagel with a smear of butter is perfect for me. Searching for sustinance late one evening last year, I saw a mirage in the distance off of the I-15...a glowing 'Panera' sign. I recalled that some of their options may be vegan, so, desperate, we dove for the egress. The fast food menu did not have the 'v' word in plain view, so I asked for assistance from the be-visored bees behind the counter. While they did not know the answer, they were able to plop a tome of menu items, nutritional information, and ingredients up on the counter, and allowed me to read the facts behind each dish for myself. What a happy thing, that. No questions about 'hidden' allergens, etc. It is all there in black and white. Some might think that this would mean that all of their food is very pre-fab -just like any other zip'n'go chain. Actually, the food tasted very fresh, including all the breads (which is good, because if you are going to call yourself 'Panera,' ye better not muck up that one...). And the ingredients were not filled with preservatives, 'natural' flavours, and the like. It was better than I expected, and better than its peers in the quick service realm; though, I cannot say that it is earth shaking cuisine. It is just simple, fresh, wholesome...classic dishes done quickly. I would certainly go there again -and not just when desperate. read more

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways, Panera. Ok, I'm obsessed with bread, particularly fresh, hot, out of the oven bread. And Panera definitely has my heart! Everything I've tried here is a winner, but I have my favs. Me and one of my girlfriends go out about once a week for breakfast and bagels is our choice! She gets the Cinnamon Crunch (bomb!) and I usually get the Asiago Cheese or Plain, toasted with cream cheese. So tasty. If you get there in the early morning, they are literally just made. Or, if you have a function that you want to take them to, you can order them the day before for easy pick-up. For lunch and dinner, the bf and I usually get the "You pick 2" deal. I get half of a cafe sandwich (Sierra Turkey or Mediterranean Veggie), soup and an apple. It's about 8 bucks. I think it's a great deal because you really do get a nice amount of deliciousness. Their broccoli cheese soup is to die for especially in a bread bowl is another excellent option if it's chilly outside. I already went there once today and am contemplating driving over there now..
