    Getting ready to eat.

I realize my reviews are pretty much the same from location to location but Panera is pretty much the same from location to location.  My individual reviews from restaurant to restaurant will only differ slightly. I am always surprised to see less than a perfect rating here especially since they have plenty of procedures and policies to follow and all there team members have always been extremely pleasant and helpful. Like all chain restaurants there is a specific model they follow.   I like the one that Panera uses.   There restaurants are always bright, cheerful and very clean.  Condiment stations are always checked and cleaned and tables are constantly being maintained.  The Old Country Rd., Westbury is just a few minutes from my home and one one of my home-base locations I like the way that you order from one area, given a buzzer so you can find a seat and relax, then get called to pick up your meal.  As usual, the team member taking our order was extremely cordial and helped us through a couple of modifications with ease.  That's a really good trait of any restaurant these days given so many dietary restrictions of patrons.   The staff here was friendly and responsive. I think Panera is doing an outstanding job making their customers feel safe even as the covid restriction's have eased up.  It's nice to see that all team members are still wearing masks.  This is not the same in all chains, but in Panera it is.  KUDOS to the team here, I know it's not easy. As always the food was extremely fresh and very well prepared.  Five stars for the Chicken Noodle Soup and my wife's Asian Salad salad looked great and she is always very happy with it.  I just love the creamy chicken soup with wild rice and today I pared it with the Toasted Chicken Frontega sandwich which was outstanding.   I always love trying new things and Panera certainly offers new items regularly and has made me a lifetime customer.  I always look forward to a Panera visit regardless of the location.

I don't go to Panera often so it was quite nice to come here. It was lovely to have a meal with my wife on our first day being married. It was a little pricier than we were hoping but it was still a good hearty meal.

We eat at our local Panera in East Greenbush but I will never come back to this one on Wolf Road! Reasons I will not come back here for breakfast: Breakfast sandwich always wrong: asked for over easy but got fully cooked even after sending back once. Additionally the brioche always looks like Simone sat on them and smushed them. Makes me think definitely not baked here! Hot chocolate tastes like water and looks gross! Attitude when you ask for help: there is no one in line and only two other couples in the dining room and I get an eye roll and huff when I ask about something. This needs new management or new staff or both!

Been here four times, twice no baguette, which is the point when you want soup. Agree with other people- dirty. Booth smells sour. With many new places in the area, they better improve.

This was the turkey bravo it was straight bussin

Went here before seeing shrek the musical, had the turkey bravo which was the best sandwich I've had from here in a long time. That shit was bussin, Justin whipped that shit up good!

Had a great bbq flatbread and strawberry poppyseed salad. The flatbread had so much cheese it wouldn't even close. Never a bad thing. The salad was really tasty with exactly the right amount of dressing. The cafe assistants were quick to help clear our plates and friendly. This is my go-to Panera from now on.

Panera is one of my favorite places! This one seems a bit small compared to others I've been to but they are speedy.

Good food and good service. Price could be a tad lower. Not enough parking at busy times.

First off I'm not sure what food people in these reviews are eating, because in my experience the Italian mix sub was very bland, the bread was dry, and the meat looked pale and weird. That ambience of the place was nostalgic which is the reason why I gave it 3 stars and not 2. The woman helping me was friendly enough but made it a point to tell me how gas prices were fine at $4.10 per gallon as long as Trump was the president, which annoyed me because it gives an indication that details don't matter here. Given the taste of the $15 small sub I paid for it definitely tracks. Be your own critic, but for me it's the history of this place and not the food has people coming back. I won't be one of them.

Some notable changes I noticed during the most recent visit include a big flat screen TV and tables and chairs indoors. The freezer apparently was out of order, but I would have loved to get their tiramisu which is also one of the best I've ever had. Their sub always strikes the right balance in the dressing, bread, meats, and toppings. Toppings are consistently good quality, and you can customise your sub by asking staff what you do and don't want on it. I hope they stay healthy and busy for decades to come.

Parking can be a little challenging depending on the time of day, but it's generally easy to access. I ordered the Italian sub, and it was delicious! Everything tasted fresh, was made to order, and the ingredients were well-balanced. The quality was definitely there. My only complaint is that after ordering what I believe was the regular-sized sub, I was still a little hungry. That said, would I recommend it? Absolutely. The food was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. Would I return? Definitely. The price point makes it more of an occasional treat for me rather than a regular lunch spot, but it's worth it when you're craving a quality sandwich. Rating: 4/5 Fresh ingredients, great flavor, convenient location--just be prepared for the prices and consider sizing up if you have a big appetite!

(Certainly a lucky neighborhood) It looks small from the street but once you walk in, it opens up to a sizable store. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, he took the time to describe their cheese selection and the other things going on in the shop. He then pivoted to giving us tons of help selecting the right cheese. We sampled a couple of things and then he dialed in three choices for us to buy. (With an assist from another customer that insisted that we would love the Delice de Bourgogne) Prices were reasonable enough for the quality. We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch. The Delice de Bourgogne was the star of the show, a creamy, earthy, and savory masterpiece. The two year aged Gouda and creamy blue cheese were delightful as well! The Chicken was absolutely delicious with lots of mushrooms and flavorful sauce. The meatballs were enormous and more importantly tasty. The only dish I wasn't entirely pleased with was the antipasto. I was envisioning whole chunks of cheese, olives, peppers and rolled cold cuts. Instead it was finely chopped cold cuts and American cheese on a bed of oily greens with a few pickled vegetables. Alas, I don't have any pictures! I didn't think to take any with all the festivities. I would definitely use them again for my catering/party needs.
