Horrible service and wrong to go sandwichs. My wife likes panera and i think it is a ripoff. we ordered 2 frontega sandwiches. We pulled out while driving. Different bread and mine was super spicey with some red sauce. Chicken was minimal. 11.79 is a ripoff and the brownie sucked. Wanted a cookie but the register wouldnt allow us to buy eventhough we could see them. Cashier was Marissa and she needs more training. Messed up couples order after us and had to get manager. The last two times I've visited the Clarksburg location have been terrible. I recently lined up for the drive through and after the line wasn't moving at all, I backed up and parked to go inside thinking it would be faster. The restaurant seemed under staffed with only one person working in the sandwich area. None of the other workers walking around the kitchen were assisting to get orders out. The total time it took for me to get food from joining the drive through line through getting my order in hand was a half hour! The last time I visited I waited at the register for five minutes and no one appeared to take my order, so I just left. I really enjoy the food, but this location is not managed properly. read more

Just had the longest wait I've ever had at a Panera. With no one in line ahead of us, and people ordering food after us getting served first. You might of thought we ordered a bunch. This is the first time I've eaten at Panera Bread. I've gotta say that the loaded baked potato soup was delicious, as was the iced latte. The service was quick, as well. This is a typical panera bread. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. We got sandwiches. The soups are my favorite.

I was at Clarksburg for a family trip and i got the broccoli cheddar soup and it was amazing, the inside was warm and cozy, and the workers were very nice and pleasant to talk to. I will definitely recommend. read more

My last two visits to Panera have been a huge disappointment. Paneras is extremely overpriced. Today's lunch for one person was over $20. To make matters worse the broccoli cheese soup was thin and watery, not thick and creamy as it always was. The Caesar salad with chicken was horrible. Limp lettuce, chicken that was more water than meat and from prepackaged bag I'm sure, and no taste to the dressing. Terrible customer service. The manager, Chuck doesn't seem like he cares one bit if customers are satisfied. Panera isn't exactly cheap for what you get and for the price I would think that I would at least get McDonald's quality food. I would be DEAD WRONG. Thank you Panera for being in Clarksburg!! The snowy weather calls for hot soup and sandwiches on days like this. Pulled up into this particular Panera in the early evening and found a good number of people inside but it still wasn't too busy. I like their 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup combo. I chose the 1/2 Turkey Artichoke sandwich with: "Smoked turkey, spinach artichoke spread, Asiago-Parmesan cheese, tomatoes & caramelized onions, grilled hot on Focaccia." With it, i had their 1/2 of a french onion soup. The sandwich was hearty but needed to be grilled longer. A couple slices of turkey in the middle were cold. Otherwise, a very substantial sandwich. The french onion soup was good but packed with sodium (as usual). I like mine with the traditional layer of melting cheese on top compared to the cheese they add into the soup that melts as you mix it. Nonetheless, the meal warmed me up to face the chilly weather outside. Yay for Wi-Fi and a cozy atmosphere. What better place to study than a bakery/cafe that serves soup, coffee, and freshly baked goods? read more

Love this Panera at Eastpoint mostly because it's so close to my mother's house when I'm home visiting. The food is the quality you'd expect from a Panera, but I like this location because they have really good customer service. No one acts like they hate their jobs here. Not even the seasonal high school/college workers. While the location is convenient, when Eastpoint gets busy it can be difficult getting into and out of the parking lot. It's right off 79 so very easy to stop in when it isn't busy and then pop right back into the interstate. The wifi is great though they restrict the amount of time you can be on when it's busy (from 1-3) I believe. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, relatively speedy service. read more

Had to give a two star to this Panera based on customer service. I arrived for a late lunch at about 3 in the afternoon. There was only one person in front of me in line but it still took 10 minutes to place my order. After placing my order, it took 25 minutes to receive it. For a fast casual restaurant, I find a 35 minute total wait just to receive my food to be unacceptable. I would be more understanding if they were busy, but they were not as 3pm is not their busy time of day. I love Panera bread. Their soup and crusty bread is delicious on a cold day. However, I did not enjoy the spinach, bacon, and poppyseed salad. This is one of the few salads I don't like. Everyone has their own personal taste, but I am not a fan of pickled onions (or poppyseed dressing, apparently). I might try it again with a balsamic type dressing. I just started coming here based off a promotional email. In the two weeks, I've only gotten hot coffee and a couple bagels and those have all been rapid pick up. The very first time I came in, I was lost and confused because I didnt know the coffee was a serve yourself system with cups and coffee at the entrance (it was early and caffeine leads to lack of attention to details). They kindly informed me and I hadn't had an issue since. This afternoon I was running a bit behind and wanted to drink my hot coffee as soon as I got it but needed ice to cool it down. I didnt see any ice machine close by and so asked the kid behind the counter (after getting rude looks from an employee bundling trash and some guy beside her) for a cup of ice. He seemed slightly taken aback, handed me a cup, and said it was around the corner to a part of the building I had never been to. After getting my ice and going to make the coffee I had ordered, I overheard the children laughing and making fun of me for not knowing where the ice was. It was such a lovely experience and really made me feel like a worthwhile human being to have these teenagers belittle me for not having ever gotten a drink with ice or knowing where it was located. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service and a great visit. Will definitely keep coming back. read more

I ordered a bowl of chilli to take out. I received what looked like a cup of "who knows what." There were no red beans or chopped meat in it. What I saw were chickpeas, corn and two or three slivers of some sort of meat. I was charged $7.00 and change for this garbage. Later I found out that Panera Bread has their soups shipped to them already prepared and ready to heat. This is what they call fresh! The manager, Ann, is rude and a real jerk. She has no public relation skills and shouldn't be in a managerial position anywhere! I called customer service to complain and was told that someone would call me back...it never happened! Panera Bread is nothing more than an overpriced diner except, in a diner, you get decent portions of food. At Panera Bread the sandwiches are so small they can be eaten in three or four bites. It's a great lunch place. Soups, sandwiches, salads, bagels and pastries. My favorite sandwich is the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich. It is basically a salad on bread. I'm not even a vegetarian. I love the tomato basil bread. My favorite soup is the black bean. It's really good, but not offered very often. Today I tried one of the broth bowls, the Ricotta Sacchetti Chicken. It was kind of expensive at $8.99 but really good. I'd recommend it. read more

I've visited several Panera Bread locations over the years and this location is one of the better ones I have ever been to. It is like your standard Panera Bread so there's nothing special to write about in that regards. What makes it better is that it is quick and very spacious. Seating is plentiful and I've always been able to find a seat even during the busy lunch hour. The food is made well and the service is prompt. I've never had to wait very long to receive my food. My only complaint is that the men's restroom is considerably small in comparison to the size of the place. I don't quite understand why they would only have one stall, one stand up urinal and one sink. Makes no sense at all. Seems like there's always a line to use the restroom. Otherwise this place is good and represents the Panera brand very well. *This business is gun carry friendly. read more

The food in the past has been excellent until COVID-19 hit and most employees stayed home from work. But that's almost over. Well, almost. The waitress who took our order seemed to be on her first day at work. It took 10 minutes to take our simple order. About $30 total. Next the soda machine was not working, no Pepsi. It took them 25 minutes to get it working after we had our food. The steak and cheese melt on brioche bread was just horrible. No saving it! The pane bread served with our cheddar broccoli soup was cold and over baked. The soup was still excellent and hot. Lastly a couple of comments: 1. The restaurant was not clean and no one was cleaning anything while we were there. 2. The staff behind the counter were consumed with rapping and joking with each other instead of taking care of the few customers in the place. 3. The manager was not managing anything effectively. I had to remind her a second time to get the soda machine serviced. Yes, it also needs a thorough cleaning. I dearly hope this is not the new norm in restaurant operation for Panera Bread, it's sure not like it used to be! read more

I travel for business and regularly eat at Panera. This one ranks near the bottom of the list. When I spend 16-18 bucks for a grilled cheese and a bowl of soup I expect it to be damn good, food and service. The people who work there do not seem to care, and it shows. My food was not right, I was missing a side, and the girl at the register couldn't have cared less. Edit: I went here 3 times for dinner and had the above experience. The third time was the worst, they were out of at least 5 menu items (two of which I wanted). However, I went here for lunch and had a much better experience. read more

At 6:30 in the evening, Panera's parking lot was rather full; but when I went inside there was no line at the register and only 2 people in front of me waiting on their food. "Amber" was the cashier at this time and was very friendly and helpful when I had questions about my account points. Left the Panera bread drive through with a total of just over 12 dollars for a half salad and half soup. The sandwich and salad were INCREDIBLY SMALL to be priced so high. I hate to hate on this company because the food does taste good the majority of the time, but the way they have began cutting their portions down so much while not reducing the price is ridiculous.
