It took over an hour to get our food (about 15 orders on the board); we ordered at the kiosk. There was no heads up given to any of the customers. There were 3 people total working and a 4th worker left early into our wait saying to the others "good luck!" The dipping sauce was tomato soup for the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken and rice soup had no visible chicken or much rice- primarily the cream base with carrots. The grilled cheese sandwich was a brick of cheese. Fortunately, the broccoli cheddar soup was good along with the Asian salad. The restaurant needs a deep clean! The workers were pleasant despite some customers complaining. I question the management- not the 1st time but the last time experiencing this Panera! read more

This is a go-to on our staff development days. Teachers have a quick lunch break so the ordering online really helps speed up the process. They've also included an ordering system right inside the door so you don't have to wait in a potentially long line. The staff has always been very friendly and efficient. Tables are cleaned and wiped up. Our meals have always been correct and we love the variety of soups and sandwiches. My favorite soup is the potato or cheddar broccoli. There aren't large chunks of broccoli, which I like. read more

I know it's just me, because I'm an east coast guy...but I like a bagel place where they spread the butter or cream cheese on the bagel for you on to-go orders. If I'm driving to work I don't have time to apply my desired topping to my bagel. Does Panera want me or anyone to drive and do that? Bagels are good, but they're not New York bagels. Sorry, folks but you are dropping the ball in this location. Hand sanitizer empty & no staff to fill within the hour I was there. Floors are dirty throughout, and ewww the ladies bathroom was gross! Staff seemed overworked and underwhelmed at the same time. Loveless presentation and cold soup top it off. Get staff that cares or hire more people, please. Won't come back until you get staffing issues and cleanliness resolved. read more

I am obsessed with their Power Steak Lettuce Wrap! I am a low carb, high protein, type of eater. This salad is perfect for that. It's an off menu "Power" item, so you won't see if when you go to Panera. It contains lettuce, steak, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, basil pesto and a lemon wedge. Yum!!! I dig this store on the SW side. The staff is always friendly and have taken the time helping me find other low carb options. I don't normally write reviews for chain fast food joints, but I'm making an exception for this sad little Panera Bread. The only reason I'm going with 2 stars instead of 1 is that the food isn't bad. It's not great mind you, but it's not *bad*. Here are my problems with this place....The way the line forms and is serviced. Seriously people!? You call me over to the right side of the counter to take my order, then you walk me clear over to the left side of the counter to ring me up. No wonder you've messed up my order twice, why not just ring me up when you get my order? Or, I don't know, move the effing (that's slang for "fucking" btw) register! Twice I've been here and they are out of plain bagels. It's 10 on a Saturday or Sunday morning and you're out of plain bagels?!? Really!? I cannot understand a bakery being out of a baked good. I take a closer look at the bagel baskets and notice that they are out of a couple different kinds of bagels. If this were the first month they were open I'd understand it, but at this point, it's just silly. The only reason I'll continue to go to this Panera is because it's near my mom's house and a convenient to-go breakfast for my half a day drive home. If I were more together I'd just buy some eggs, a bagel, and some ham at the Hy-Vee the night before I leave and make myself a sandwich in the morning. Everyday there is something out of stock. Today it was Arugula and Chili Lime Ranch Dressing, 2 main components of the Southwest Chili Lime Ranch Chicken Salad. Went today for lunch and had the You Pick 2 menu which is what I usually order. I got the tomato mozzarella flatbread and their Mac n' cheese. The flatbread is delicious (tomato, fresh mozz, arugula, crushed up tomatoes, pesto in a flatbread). The Mac n' cheese, however, was cold when I got it. This has happened a few times before, will probably opt for a different choice next time. read more

I am normally a big fan of Panera. I'm from out of town so when I saw there was a Panera here I wanted to stop. I walked inside and there was an employee sweeping the floor. He was sweeping all the crumbs into a wall which seemed odd to begin with. There was no room to move around him without getting crumbs sweeped onto my shoes. He saw me and kept sweeping and said "excuse me" so I could get out of HIS way so he could finish sweeping. I finally get around him and go to the sand which counter to order when I'm told by another employee he would take my order at the other register that isn't by the sandwich menu. So I'd have to go to one side of the restaurant to figure out what I wanted then go to the other side to order. Was so frustrated just ended up leaving without ordering. read more

Panera is coffee shop, bakery and soup & sandwich shop all rolled together. Lots of people use it for an office or library for the free wi-fi. This location also has a small room that's great for private meetings. I would agree with Kate however that the ordering system kind of sucks. Most people order the Pick 2 for lunch or dinner. You pick two from: 1/2 sandwich, soup and salad. It comes with choice of one side: bread, chips or an apple. Where do they get such tiny apples anyway? I call it a "chick place" (which my wife hates it when I say that) because everything seems to have a feminine touch to it. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I get dragged in her a few times a year but would never stop in on my own - except maybe for the free wi-fi. read more

We've been there several times, and always had a good experience. Maybe Sundays aren't the best time. This Sunday made me think the "A Team" was off duty. As we walked in, I heard someone say, "We're out of bread bowls. As it turned out, they were also out of the type of bread I had ordered on my sandwich. I was informed of this when I went to pick up our order. I re-ordered, took my wife's order to our table and waited until I was called again. The sandwich was fine, but the black bean soup I ordered was thinner than I had ever seen. I normally do the to go option because I get the pick 2, which is easy and I can pick it up on my way home from work. Last time I ordered at this location I showed up on time and saw that there was nothing at the pick up station. Cool. Wait another five minutes in case they are behind (semi-busy, like a Thursday afternoon) and nothing. So I go to the front and ask if the to go order is done and the manager looks at me funny. Doesn't say anything and walks away. I ask a cashier and she said no to go orders had been made. I show her on the app that this is the right location and that I have paid, I had an email receipt. She goes to re-ring my food so it gets made and the manager comes back demanding to see proof that I was at the right location in the app. He said in a super snide way, "People make the mistake all the time." Well I wasn't wrong. After opening my app, having to VERIFY WITH HIM THAT IT WAS ME, I showed the location and receipt. I don't know if homie had a bad day or what but this lady just wanter her sierra turkey and broccoli cheddar. He continued to be snide to me and kinda threw my stuff in a bag to give to me. I had asked no onions because they make me sick, and when I got home guess what was on my sandwich... I get the app was at fault but the manager should have been helpful, I have worked in food before and know things happen, but I will not be going back. read more

First of all, the food at Panera is pretty good. I've only tried a few things on their menu but both soup, sandwich, and the macaroni and cheese I've been satisfied. The atmosphere is nice...although the layout of the place could be slightly rearranged. To order, there are three different places and then to pick up your food, you have to go all the way to the other side of the restaurant. It seems...disorganized. It does have free Wi-Fi...although it's nothing special. McDonald's is probably better, if that's what you're going for. The prices at Panera aren't cheap either, so beware of that. Drinks go for about 1.59 or 2.02 for a large. Panera also has a room for office meetings which has been extremely helpful for my study group and I. Overall, Panera Bread is probably a restaurant I might visit with friends, but I wouldn't go here very often if I could avoid it. read more
