My daughter-in-law ordered eggs Benedict. I came for in a row with sausage gravy on top instead of hollandaise sauce, they have a great drink menu. I hope when I come back to see my son in Cedar Rapids we will go there again because the waitresses and all the servers were awesome and the food was amazing so with the drinks

There's really only street parking or a public parking lot on the same street. However, the restaurant validate parking for the first hour, which is nice. Overall, this place was good but not great. However, the service was great! Friendly staff and it took maybe less than 10 minutes for the food to be ready

More than a diner. This place is a one stop shop for those passing thru and regulars alike. Grub on delicious food and go or stick around at the bar, yes a fully stocked bar, and join the local regulars in hilarious conversations full of little known made up facts. Open till midnight or later for the night owls that enjoy hanging out with friends, singing karaoke, throwing darts, or the classic chat with a bartender while having a beverage. I had breakfast at the Hwy 30 Diner on Sunday. They were packed and only had one person waiting on the tables. The guy hustled and took care of everyone. I had chicken fried steak. The inside is a smaller version of what you see when you go into the chain breakfast spot that ends with hop. Tables and booths for you to choose to sit at. With that said, we were seated and given a chance to review the menu. I opted for the meat lovers omelette which came with hasbrowns and a choice of toast or a pancake (opted for the pancake). I also requested to add cheese. Food came to the table but we had to flag down the waitress to bring us some silverware. The waitress was friendly and kept our cups filled. Now not being from this area I'm not sure if it's a regional thing or just a here thing but what I got wasn't what I was expecting when I ordered an omelette. Omelettes are usually fluffy and filled with ingredients on the inside. This was more of a whisked egg that cooked on a flat griddle and cooked. Sadly the slice of cheese added hadn't melted so there's that as well. I had asked for my hash browns to be cooked hard (crispy), what I got were taters browned on one side and very soft on the other. I think that there was a mishap in the kitchen as I didn't get my pancake until the end of the meal and it didn't have much flavor to it and overall the whole meal seem to lack any seasoning (once again not sure if that a regional thing as I found this to be common during my stay). The meal was affordable but it was a basic meal. Should I come back I think I'll try the chicken fried steak which someone in my party ordered and raves about.
