Order got screw up and fixed immediately... high praise... th quickly helped and made sure I got my order

Mess up on order time and again. Upsetting when you have a) no meat on your cobb salad or b) they include the wrong ingredients. Sad, but Im done with this location. read more

I usually never have any issues at this location but everyone I order from there recently they mess up my order or they just have super long wait times. Yesterday we ordered ahead on the app for drive thru pick up and we still ended up waiting 15 minutes. read more

I come here pretty often but they need to work harder in the drive thru. i will be on my lunch break and have 30 minutes and by the time i get it it's time to go in. Food is always hot and fresh. Might need to reevaluate on some of those employees because they were snapping at me when they gave me the wrong size soup. read more

I let it slide when I ordered a toasted garden caprsee sandwich and added chicken but they forgot the chicken. But I just ordered a strawberry chicken caprese salad. It had greens, chicken and pecans. It was Missing half the ingredients. I'm on work break so I can't go back to fix it. This is an expensive salad to get this wrong. read more

I was very recently at this Panera Bread in Carbondale Il. The service was good. The food was good. However the place was nasty. If the front of the house was so dirty I'm afraid to think what it was like where my food was prepared. The floors (carpet) were so dirty. The restroom was very dirty and there were some clothing laying in the floor of the handicap stall. When I looked at it the floor and back of the toilet was terrible. Black. I will not go in that place again. read more

My huge sandwich had like no meat or cheese on it! What a disappointment. I thought Panera had better quality control but I guess not.

Great food, great look, great atmosphere. Definitely coming again Staff is pretty cool too read more

I don't even think a full fledged review is necessary. We ordered soup with bread bowls, with chips because they "didn't have any bread" Should have taken that as a hint to just leave. (This was two and a half hours before closing) The person taking our order was completely inaudible to the point where we just started shaking our heads yes. We got our food partially cold and in regular bowls. To which they then told us after we paid and tipped them, they are also out of bread bowls. Really disappointed and really dissatisfied. Very unfortunate because the few times we did eat here it was pretty good. read more

Panera Bread - Tortellini Alfredo was described as Luke warm cat food - Sandwiches Near Me - Carbondale, Illinois

I got the Fuji apple chicken salad, chips, French onion soup, and steak and arugula sandwich. Decent food served very quickly. This is your standard Panera Bread. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. The place has a lot of seating. read more

not a huge fan of the new menu. the bowls were a delicious healthy option and they are no longer on the menu.

I ordered a bagel pack and when I got home 4 of the bagels were sliced like this. Listen, I've worked at a panera before and I know its a crappy job, but you don't send out bagels sliced like that. I know the slicers suck 80% of the time but you cant give a customer a bagel thats got the corner cut off.... let alone 6. read more

Panera Bread - I got the chicken and wild rice soup and it was thinner then chicken noodle soup. This location has a problem with quality control - Sandwiches Near Me - Carbondale, Illinois

So Panera got rid of the Thai salad that was great for this "Asian" salad. It's literally Romain lettuce, wonton strips, sesame seeds, and dressing. That's it. It didn't even come with the almonds that's on the menu discrimination. I would give fewer stars but everyone's always super nice. Panera use to be great but now it's high prices for little quality. read more

Panera Bread - Sad Asian Salad - Sandwiches Near Me - Carbondale, Illinois

They are pricey so I limit myself, but they have some healthy options and it's good food in general

The manager was a complete horrid bitch. My roommate was asking the front girl and question about an order we were picking up and the manager stomped over and started saying " hello it's not on my screen you can wait " and we said that's ok we were just asking for an ETA she said " obviously I don't know I have 10 other orders " just absolutely rude. read more

Loved this past. I went to college here, and this was definitely one of my main places. Whether I stopped through the drive thru and took my order home or studied inside Very nice, clean place with a good staff and delicious food. Yes, it isn't all that cheap but you're paying for the quality of food. I love the frozen coffees and smoothie options. The French bagettes with some butter are good too. This is a sandwich/salad place with bagels and pastry choices as well. Fountain drinks as well as some speciality drinks. read more

Hey girl, one of the employees here looks exactly like Ryan Gosling! Also, whenever I substitute chips for bread on my orders, they forget and give me bread anyhow. Then I say "hey, I asked for chips" and I end up with chips AND bread. Awesome. read more

Food is always OK... there is a lack of choices for vegetarians as the staff will not alter any of their items - we we are pretty much stuck with 2 options. Tables are always in need of a wipe down and all the good tables are taken by students with their glasses of water sucking up the free wifi! read more

This place is going downhill very quickly. It seems like they've lost a lot of good management. Everyone behind the counter was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The manager was dismissive when part of my order was forgotten. The cashier was clearly new and no one would help her out. The signs hadn't been flipped over and I was trying to order lunch because they were serving it and I couldn't remember the name of the item I was ordered so the cashier had to read off of her ordering screen. She asked me the same questions multiple times. I'm afraid this location is going to be another dumpy, dirty Carbondale restaurant if upper management doesn't step in. read more

I ordered the flatbread which I have been wanting to try and a salad but I can't tell you if they were any good because I never received my order. Apparently they called an incorrect or old number when they arrived and they will not come in unless you answer this call, instead of taking the food back to the restaurant they just left it outside of the building where I work. Who knows who wound up with my food. Panera did offer to bring me out new food, but by this time my work day was over and I wasn't about to stay over to get my food delivered so I just got a refund. Very disappointing. I gave them a three star still even though this service didn't deserve it, because I am normally pretty satisfied with their service. I will order from there again, but I thought I deserved some other compensation, like a free scone or something with my next order for my trouble. read more

Manager Nicole was the only one not wearing her mask properly. Either wore it under her chin or kept pulling it below her nose. She was very unprofessional yelling at her employees in front of customers and kept rolling her eyes. read more

This is the second time where I have gone through the drive-through and have received the wrong order. Granted I should do myself a favor and check my bag before leaving but when you're on your way to work or home that's all you're thinking about. They really need to slow down and make sure that they're giving out the right orders because I can almost guarantee that since I got the wrong order everyone else behind me was also getting wrong orders. read more

This is a chain with mediocre food. The service and staff make minimum wage. Don't get your hopes up that this location is any better or worse than any of the others. Period. read more

The cleanness is questionable, the managers are careless and the workers rather be on their phones than performing. Every time I go here, or any of my friends do an order is forgotten, an item is missing or a catering order is wrong. I am done with this business! read more

My brother and my husband and I stopped by here to get a quick lunch before heading to the mall. There is a lot of seating. I had the chai tea which was one of the best I have ever had. Poor Panera...when they get the order right, it tastes good...but it usually takes me two tries to get the food I really want. Portions are wildly different each time...guess it depends on who you get serving you. Panera is pricy for the service, food, and atmosphere...it costs just as much to have a waiter/waitress serve you somewhere else. Category is: meh. read more

Panera can be hit and miss. Sometimes the food and bread are fresh and properly prepared, other times it's stale bread, lukewarm soup and wilted lettuce drowned in too much dressing or barely any dressing. The coffee is good and the iced green tea is delish. read more

One of the most overrated places around. The food is OK, but I can fix better at home. They have free wifi and decent coffee, though.

I've been ordering a lot from there . . . the last few experiences were not great. Carbondale likes to put cilantro on EVERYTHING. So following their online ordering menu you can customize to remove that. To their credit, they usually follow those instructions pretty well. However they will randomly add LOTS of cilantro to other items that on the menu shouldn't have it (so you can't specify 'NO CILANTRO'). I called and talked to a manager about this . . . They added a handful of finely chopped cilantro to my chicken and bacon flatbread. So I called to tell them the kitchen was not following the online menu (which makes ordering online next to impossible). She did offer a coupon . . . which was fine. But then she proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that the flatbread should have cilantro on it even after I told her the online menu didn't list it (so you can't remove it) AND I'd ordered it several times prior w/out it having cilantro. I was told 'I guess we finally made it right this time.' I will not be risking this again given this response. read more

Went there at 0800 Wednesday March 13 stood at the counter for 8 minutes and was never waited on. Even tried saying hello but still nothing Staff in back saw me but did nothing. Gave my Panera card to the woman at the drive thru will never go back. Horrible service! read more

My food was decent, but the service was terrible. The cashier who took my order, I believe her name is Jaden, seem to be a little uncomfortable taking my order. A few of my friends, who are White, went before me and she greeted them with a big smile. I noticed she kept staring back at me though. When it was my time to order she didn't greet me nor give me the same service as them. She rolled her eyes at me, gave me attitude and basically threw the buzzer and my cup at me. Weird how she did that to me, a Hispanic girl, and not my other friends who are White.. never will come back to this place read more

This Panera location is just ok. For being a vegetarian there isn't many options. I've been to this location a handful of times for lunch and they always seem to mess my order up. Went here a few weeks ago and got a cobb salad.. I ordered it with no chicken and no bacon but asked if I could add extra avocado to it and they charged me for it. I just found that a little ridiculous considering the fact they didn't even put avocado on my salad... when I asked about it they gave me a side of old brown avocado. Like I said this location is just.... ok read more
