There was literally nobody at the bar top. or seated at the table surrounding the bar. Next, I ordered a New York medium rare strip with a side salad and steamed broccoli Wife did order a cheeseburger with fries. She said the cheeseburger was good, but the fries were old. What I got was not what I ordered for one. I didn't get a side salad for Another. The steak I got was not medium rare but the steamed broccoli was nice. I complained about the price because the steak was not cooked correctly they offered to remake me another one, but who wants to sit there in while your wife eats and you're not eating so I said no just adjust the price they took $6.50 off of a $25 steak dinner I asked to speak with the manager because that was not enough and he comped my meal after complaining and I told him that someone at a steakhouse should know how to cook a steak. he did say he was a new manager is just taking the place over so hopefully he can fix it but if you're cook, can't cook a steak and let him wash dishes. read more

I went for lunch - a steak Cobb salad - today (first time Logan's customer - last time Logan's customer) RAW BACON was mixed in with the food, and as I was pulling out and realizing how much of it there was, my stomach started to hurt. So nauseating to think about it! Instead of adjusting the bill or offering me something different, the bartender had me pay the full bill $21.66. So I wasted all of my time and never got fed because who is going to eat raw bacon - like seriously this place is despicable do not do not do not eat here. I filed a complaint with corporate online right after - and we'll see if they give me my money back, but I'm honestly considering talking to Navy Federal Credit Union and disputing the charge - like I can't even... I was excited to find this steakhouse because it was one of my late father's favorite chains. It looked clean, and we were seated immediately. Unfortunately, I received less than professional service from the server. On May 22, 2024, I took my aunt and myself to Logan's in Marion, IL, to celebrate my father's heavenly birthday. Every year, I celebrate him with his favorite: a juicy ribeye. The server who came to my table was very opinionated and rude. The food looked and tasted great. However, my steak had too much hard gristle running along one side, and so after two bites that I could not chew or swallow, I requested another one. Our server, Callie, informed me that I should have ordered a sirloin like she does because a ribeye has a lot of marbling, which is how it should be. She rolled her eyes and showed disdain when I explained the difference between marbled fat and hard gristle. Once I saw her rudeness, I was uncomfortable requesting a new steak. I told her to remove my meal from the check and said I would pay for my aunt's meal. She left the table, had the nerve to send a different server to my table with the check (I guess Callie didn't want to deal with me), and had the people in the kitchen pointing and looking at us at our table. I usually do not think negatively of people doing their jobs. However, it was obvious that the workers had been told something terrible about me and our table. Several staff members gathered in the kitchen area and pointed at us to ensure we knew they were on Callie's side. It wasn't very respectful! I asked to see the manager, whose name is Seth. As the manager, he should have been coming with an apology and a solution, but instead, it felt more like a way to hurry up and get us out of the restaurant. Seth held his head down, nodded a few times as I explained my dissatisfaction, especially given the momentous occasion, and then said, "Yeah, I am sorry....," but not for anything specific. I left the restaurant having had nothing to eat on my father's birthday and was extremely upset at the treatment we received. I rarely go out to dinner, but I know I will not be returning to the Logan's in Marion. I want to note that my aunt and I were the only people of color in the restaurant. Callie was bold and unprofessional with us from the beginning. I always hope that race isn't the cause of ill-treatment, but I do feel a responsibility to say that I think that it was. This was the first year I was sad AND mad on my father's birthday. The one bright spot was that we had taken photos of our food and happy moods before the nasty behavior from the staff occurred. Most of my reviews are positive, but in this case, I will not be recommending Logan's in Marion, IL, because of how we were treated. Wifey and I were looking for something new to eat. Since we didn't feel like ordering the same old food, we decided to give Logan's Roadhouse the nod. Wife ordered the Teriyaki Chicken (with a Garden salad & steamed broccoli). I ordered the Wood Grilled Chicken (with the Loaded baked potato & steamed broccoli). The meals came with R/H rice (mixed with minute pieces of vegetables) as a base for the meats. My wife enjoyed her Teriyaki chicken meal except for the rice. Since she doesn't care for rice, I ended up getting a double helping of it. While I too (mostly) enjoyed my meal, the grilled chicken (covered in a Parmesan Peppercorn sauce) was a little hard to cut. Probably was overcooked causing the chicken to be dry and tough. Both meals were well seasoned and delicious, though. Before I forget, the Yeast Rolls are a 5-star must. Paired with the whipped butter, it's a great addition to the meal. Besides the blip with the grilled chicken, it's a tad pricey. (Nothing that a $40 Door Dash Christmas gift card couldn't help cover.) Recommended. read more

That peach "cobbler" was possibly one of the worst desserts I've ever had delivered. I took two bites and threw it away. It was cold, in a Styrofoam cup, and was a soupy mess and smelled fermented. Like you put real cobbler in a blender for a few seconds, then covered it with foil and put it in the fridge for a month. God knows how old it was. Awful. My stomach already hurts. I really liked the new Maui steak bites with grilled pineapple, the kids enjoyed the sirloin steak, but my husband thought his filet was a little tough. The sweet potato was delicious! When entering Logans we watched 2 waitress run away from us to the back kitchen, lol. we patiently waited 10 mins to be sat and had the bartender as our server. She was busy managing the bar although her attitude was not up to par. We waited awhile to get our drinks just to find a bug in our tea. when showing the bartender (our sever) she proceeds to jokingly tell my husband "extra protein". i guess it was supposed to be funny, but it grossed me out and made me want to cancel my food. The sweet potato is from was burnt on the inside and outside. Stopped here with friends over the weekend, I ordered the grilled meatloaf, which came.on a bed of mashed potatoes and was topped with mushroom and onion brown gravy, and has corn on the side. OMG, it was so good. Meatloaf had great flavor. Friends had the Logan steak, it's a 12 oz. sirloin, they ordered it med rare, came with baked potato and salad. The salads were huge, hot buttered rolls are served when salads are brought, oh, they are soft and delicious. Friends said their steaks were cooked perfectly, could just about cut with a fork. I would have given them 0 stars if it allowed it. i realize it is 3 days before Christma, but my husband called Logan's to make a reservation for 8. They told him they do not accept reservations, but he could come up and get a place in line. he went there around 5:20pm. There was another party of 8 that came in about 10 minutes after him and he said they could go ahead since they were setting up two tables of 8. When my mother got there 5 minutes later they had set us up at the bar top tables. My mother is 83 and can not sit at that. Instead of having the other much younger family take the high top they told us to wait a little longer. I noticed at the back there were 4 open tables. I asked if they could turn one of those into an 8 top. The manager then informed me that she had accepted an impromptu 10 people reservation. I was floored. I asked why we were told they didn't take reservations. She said they don't they just made an exception for them!! great!! so I said could we take the other two four top. She said no she couldn't do that to her waitress. In the meantime, they proceeded to sit two more 3 tops in her station. I can not even imagine how this place stays in business with this pathetic management. DO NOT GO HERE!! Update: after 2 hours and 45 minutes, the manger said they do take reservations and she didn't know who told us that they didn't. This place stays busy! We came about 5:30 on Wednesday night and got a table within 10 minutes. Our waitress, Candace, was a good waitress. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the floors or the restroom. I had the Caesar salad, 12 ounce ribeye, and baked sweet potato. I think that the salad dressing was a little too salty. The ribeye was much more fatty than I prefer and came out a little colder than I would've liked. The sweet potato, however, was nice and big and fluffy. It was cooked just right, not overcook them mushy. I tried the unsweet peach tea, but didn't care for it. My husband had the dinner salad, chili, chicken tenders and white gravy. He was satisfied with the meal. He said that some of the salad was a little old, but the chili and the chicken tenders were OK as well as the gravy. We will be coming back to this area in about six days, but I do not expect to return to Logan's. It just seem to be a little too noisy where I was sitting for me to really enjoy my meal. read more

Visited here with family and I was so pleasantly surprised to find a menu much more than a steakhouse with so many great options. The peanuts and rolls were a great touch to start the meal. Only great compliments to our efficient and organized sever for accommodating our party of 15+ without a mistake! (We made reservations prior to visiting). Ordered a steak 6oz sirloin that came with 2 sides. I asked for medium and it was a touch more rare than I expected. There was a great seasonal menu as well. What a great atmosphere overall. I have gone to Logan's many times and the meal has been excellent. I usually order the 6 oz sirloin. Four of us went mid January to celebrate my husbands birthday. The flavor of my sirloin was terrible. Best part of my meal was the baked potato and roll. My daughter ordered a steak sandwich, which was so gristly she could not eat most of it. Another friend ordered pork chops which she said were good. My husband ordered a larger steak which he had to put ketchup on to eat, due poor flavor. We were so disappointed and will probably not be back any time soon. Service was somewhat slow, but figured they were short handed.
