I went to Panera bread this morning before my 8:30am physical therapy appointment. I ordered a vanilla cold brew and wanted a cinnamon bun however I pointed out the flies to the cashier that were on the cookies and other pastries. She says yeah she hates that the pastry display is open but not once shooed the flies from the food. While there I counted three separate occasions s where flies landed on the display of sweets. This literally forced me to get nothing but my coffee. How disgusting and behind time is it that they have not invented a better display that will cover and protect the food while also being glass. I was happy to receive complimentary reward for my birthday to be used on a pastry. It shows in my app to be used by the 18th (1 week after my birthday). I finally had the opportunity to use it on the 18th. I was disappointed to be told it was no longer in their system, so no free pastry. Other rewards disappear from your app once expired but it still showed and it was on the 7th day after my birthday. I think this should have been honored and the person that served me just so happened to be a manager, no discretion used. I was disappointed by this service. read more

What's not to like about Panera? Fresh bread, comfy seats, free wifi and pastries!! While I was seated in the dining area playing games on my tablet, there was an attendant that checked on the dining area constantly. He cleared dishes as you finished your food and whenever someone got up, he cleaned the table. He even vacuumed the floor. He wasn't very cheerful, but he got the job done. Way to go! The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because my soufflé had way too much cheese on it this time. It seemed like they changed the recipe up a bit. Other than that, it was all good. I received a dollar off of my muffin with My Panera card, which made it that much better. Keep up the good work. read more

Very friendly and efficient staff. I came in for bunch of pastries and didn't wait too long. While the cashier was helping another customer, the others were helping me pick out my pastries. So by the time the cashier was finished with her customer, i was ready to pay. Less hassle and efficient time in there. read more

I've been to this Panera on multiple occasions and it's usually has pretty okay customer service, so for that reason, but today, I had the lovely experience of meeting the cashier, E'vaan. When walking to the register she shouted to the customers in line that it was all one line, then rolled her eyes and asked for our order. I asked "'May I please have a steak and egg," to which she replied "No." Then continued to tell me they don't serve breakfast after 1030. I totally get it, breakfast is served after 1030, makes sense, but the whole attitude was incredibly off putting. Instead of grabbing a lunch item we decided to leave, cause ain't nobody got time for that. Find a more respectful employee, y'all can do better than that. read more

Panera has a wide variety of sandwiches , soups and bagels, and drinks. The breads are super soft and baked fresh. I recommend the honey walnut cream cheese and iced caffe mocha. Reasonably priced for the quality of products. I also recommend there Mediterranean veggie sandwich and lemonade And tomato soup. Great atmosphere , cozy booths, wifi and a good spot to also read, write or study. read more

Well my pic explains it all I ordered a bowl of French onion soup w/ extra crotons and a side of bread, so yummy I really enjoy Panera soups including the broccoli and cheese but the French is definitely my favorite. it's not to rich cheesy or too greasy, perfectly tasty. read more

Seeing as though this Panera is located in Bowie Town Center, it's usually pretty busy and can have really long lines. Nevertheless, it's like every other Panera in the area that I've been too. Great customer service, ample dine-in seating, and a vast selection of foods/drinks. They provide fresh, rib sticking and fun foods for the young and the old. Free WiFi is available and it's the perfect place to meet up for a quick informal bite to eat or group session/meeting for school or work. All and all, I enjoy this location, but I don't frequent it as much anymore because it's a bit to crowded for my taste. read more

I stopped by 2/21/2017 at 10:00am with a $10.00 gift card I won at work . I was really disappointed that there were NO garlic, onion, everything, or sesame bagels. Really ??? at 10:00am ??? So I bought 6 Asiago " bagels " and a 4 cheese soufflé which was delicious! But, back to the SO called " asiago bagel" .... so, this morning I sliced one open and it's just a role with barely any asiago cheese , I toasted it and smeared some butter on it . It was just kinda gross eating a big , bland, roll and you charge a dollar a piece . I ate half of one and threw the rest away . Now I'm stuck with 5 rolls which I'll use for breadcrumbs or something. False advertising!!! These are NOT bagels and you should stop calling them that . EXCELLENT! I went to this PB one day early in the morning to have some time with my daughter and to grab a quick bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted cheerfully so early in the morning. Customer service was great! I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and my daughter got a steak and egg on a croissant. We were both very happy with our order. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfy. Nice little spot that is good for a quick bite of various options, and may not clog your arteries as quickly as fast food. Their turkey paninis are very very good. The brocoli and cheese soup is decent as well although it could be a little thicker. Salads are decent. The bread is like a rock and could be used as a placeholder or weapon. Their chips suck. Prices are reasonable and service is a little pushy, but prompt. The Town Center makes for an excellent location. read more

Ordered a mac and cheese for rapid pick up and the food was spoiled! The whole thing tasted so off so i just threw it away. Not sure if what I was given was an old batch but it was no good. I called and let them know they gave me some bad food and all the lady said was if I go back to their location, to say i spoke with a specific person on the phone so they can give me a free mac the next time I go. 1) I would forget her name 2) I'm not going back to that location because this is my second bad experience with them... not ordering from this location again. I absolutely love Panera Bread! I have been coming here for years. It's right in my neighborhood, so on a nice day, I can walk here! I have had many items on there menu and I don't have a bad thing to say about any of it. Whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can't go wrong with Panera Bread! The classic cafe salad and Thai chopped chicken salad are two of my favorites. The whole grain bread that they offer as a side is delicious when served warm. You can't go wrong with there potato chips either. Another favorite are the soufflés that they offer for breakfast!! So yummy! I don't eat pork so I always get the spinach and artichoke. It is probably a million calories but worth it to have every once in a while. The coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos are also consistently good. In my opinion better than Starbucks. My only complaint is that they got rid of their grilled portobello mushroom panini. It was my favorite sandwich. I wish it would come back!! read more

I really like the service and management here. They switched up the menu and the grilled cheese us now on flatbread, not ciabatta. Even after they made it, they offered to make a new one for my daughter because of the confusion without being asked. And they keep the place clean and help bus the tables. read more

The location is awkwardly set up for lunch time ordering. It's really hard to explain but if you visit the location during breakfast/lunch transition; you'll see what I mean. Now the staff are friendly to the customers and they are really accommodating. However, the orders are literally thrown together. I requested spinach on a sandwich once I received the sandwich I realized spinach was only on 1/2 the order. No big deal, the staff quickly corrected the issue. After visiting a couple location; I believe panera has unified customer service with all there locations. Yeah there are some managers that could always use help on ethics . Mostly they should work on execution and less people would complaint read more

Purchased @ curbside pickup a Green Passion Smoothie. I have always received it in a small drink size cup. I typically purchase these 3-4 times a week and receive the same small drink size cup. So today, I receive a smaller cup. WHY?!? I go inside n spoke w/Patrick, the GM, who tells me I "must have gotten the hook up cuz this is the 16 oz cup." I don't care what size cup it is, I should receive the same cup I have always received, which is the small drink cup. Period! If I have been receiving the wrong size cup for years (literally cuz I'm obsessed w ths smoothie), not my problem. Ths is a training issue NOT a customer issue. TERRIBLE! I ordered the Fuji Apple salad with no onions. I made the mistake of not checking my order before I left and they gave me the Green Goddess cobb salad and it still had onions in it..... Not sure how you get the two confused. Make sure you check your orders before you leave. read more

I've had disappointing experiences at other Panera's so was extremely surprised by the good food, cleanliness, and general efficiency of this one. We had three different half sandwiches (cuban, turkey, and a tuna) and three different soups (black bean, broccoli cheese, and cream of tomato). All of them were made with fresh ingredients and were tasty. My only complaint is that the portions are small and we had no leftovers to take with us. Our wheelchair user was able to get around although they could think through keeping path of access easier by moving sign out of the lobby and ensuring a clear way to the bathroom. I think this Panera's is so good it's pulling people away from the other chains in the Bowie center. read more

I usually really like Panera and when I'm in Bowie this is the closest one to me, I gave this location three chances and I'm just going to go to different ones from now on. I usually dine in but the most recent time I had a to go order. I ordered a bagel and tomato soup with a baguette. They made the soup but the lady at the counter forgot to make my bagel the entire time I was waiting for my soup and didn't realize she had forgotten until I said something a few minutes after I got my soup. This isn't the first time they've forgotten to make my bagel. I got home and opened my bags and found they didn't put my baguette in either bag so that's kind of annoying considering its one of the best parts of getting the soup. I like Panera but I don't think I'll come to the Bowie one again. The staff are friendly and it's always clean inside but I think I'll just go somewhere else read more
