Making my morning rounds and decide to stop in for a cup of coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. The place not too crowded, plenty of seating and the young lady at the counter was pleasant and welcoming. Ordered the steak and wake, a cup of coffee, and a Drink. The unitial Steak and Wake was horrible. The young man made initial sandwich without the steak. I brought this to his attention he said no problem. He took the sandwich and placed steak on the sandwich and put back into oven for a second time instead of remaking the entire sandwich. I took the sandwich and called for the manager...the meat was still cold to the touch. The manager had the sandwich remade. The coffee was suppose to be bold however, it was the color of Tea. The coffee was hot though lacking on the bold. Overall, the initial contact and manager addressing the sandwich was the best of the experience. Went across the street to get coffee.

Panera is a decent bakery and sandwich shop chain. They offer a wide variety of baked items, from bread and bagels to pastries. They also have a good selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches, making them a good spot for a lite afternoon meal. They offer their entrees individually, as a combo meal with fruit or (more!) bread or as part of a soup/sandwich combo. Panera has always been a favorite of our girls' youth sports teams, as it seems to appeal to their diet and makes for a nice mid- or post-tournament stop. They have a very relaxing atmosphere and a quick/efficient ordering/pickup process. This location is just up the road from the local sports park, making it an ideal stop as mentioned above. The facility is clean, and service is nice and helpful. Food here has always been fast and fresh. Recommend giving them a try for your next pastry or soup & sandwich craving.

The food at Panera is always consistently good. My favorite thing is their egg soufflé. I usually get the four cheese one. It is served warm, and it is so comforting with a cup of hot tea. They serve Republic of Tea brand here. I almost didn't get my egg soufflé. It was 11:05. I asked for one and the gal behind the counter hesitated. She said she was just about to throw them away! No! She did sell me one. Ifshe was going to throw them away couldn't she have thrown it to me for free? Anyway... it was delicious. There's plenty of easy and free parking here. If I'm at Bowie Town Center this is where I'll go for a quick bite and hot tea.

You know the feeling of biting into a firm crisp apple? Good because you won't find it at this Panera. I pulled up and picked up my order from curbside pickup and reached into the bag to give my son his apple and felt a squishy course ball in the bag. I pulled it out and it was an old apple. A step above rotted, visibly and tacitly not appropriate to give to a customer...... really Panera? When I got home, I realized the French onion soup I ordered didn't have cheese on it. Typically the food from Panera is pretty standard since it's likely all prepackaged/microwaved which is a plus since doing something like adding cheese to a soup or inspecting their produce is a step above their skill set.

I ordered a salad and while waiting discovered one of the staff making my meal did not have gloves on was on her cell phone and scratching her head (See picture). She called my name to pick up the preparations and I was totally flabbergasted! I did notify the manager and my meal was remade. What if I was watching this? Be aware to pay attention!

I was happy to receive complimentary reward for my birthday to be used on a pastry. It shows in my app to be used by the 18th (1 week after my birthday). I finally had the opportunity to use it on the 18th. I was disappointed to be told it was no longer in their system, so no free pastry. Other rewards disappear from your app once expired but it still showed and it was on the 7th day after my birthday. I think this should have been honored and the person that served me just so happened to be a manager, no discretion used. I was disappointed by this service. read more

What's not to like about Panera? Fresh bread, comfy seats, free wifi and pastries!! While I was seated in the dining area playing games on my tablet, there was an attendant that checked on the dining area constantly. He cleared dishes as you finished your food and whenever someone got up, he cleaned the table. He even vacuumed the floor. He wasn't very cheerful, but he got the job done. Way to go! The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because my soufflé had way too much cheese on it this time. It seemed like they changed the recipe up a bit. Other than that, it was all good. I received a dollar off of my muffin with My Panera card, which made it that much better. Keep up the good work. read more

Very friendly and efficient staff. I came in for bunch of pastries and didn't wait too long. While the cashier was helping another customer, the others were helping me pick out my pastries. So by the time the cashier was finished with her customer, i was ready to pay. Less hassle and efficient time in there. read more

I've been to this Panera on multiple occasions and it's usually has pretty okay customer service, so for that reason, but today, I had the lovely experience of meeting the cashier, E'vaan. When walking to the register she shouted to the customers in line that it was all one line, then rolled her eyes and asked for our order. I asked "'May I please have a steak and egg," to which she replied "No." Then continued to tell me they don't serve breakfast after 1030. I totally get it, breakfast is served after 1030, makes sense, but the whole attitude was incredibly off putting. Instead of grabbing a lunch item we decided to leave, cause ain't nobody got time for that. Find a more respectful employee, y'all can do better than that. read more

Panera has a wide variety of sandwiches , soups and bagels, and drinks. The breads are super soft and baked fresh. I recommend the honey walnut cream cheese and iced caffe mocha. Reasonably priced for the quality of products. I also recommend there Mediterranean veggie sandwich and lemonade And tomato soup. Great atmosphere , cozy booths, wifi and a good spot to also read, write or study. read more

i give one star because the sandwich i had was pretty good but it was not put together correctly BUT my son ordered the fruit cup that is on the side kids menu and it had NO grapes and grapes in a fruit cup is a MUST and usally they are so good and part of your childhood but the fruit cup from Panera Bread in the Bowie Town Center had no grapes. read more

I stopped by 2/21/2017 at 10:00am with a $10.00 gift card I won at work . I was really disappointed that there were NO garlic, onion, everything, or sesame bagels. Really ??? at 10:00am ??? So I bought 6 Asiago " bagels " and a 4 cheese soufflé which was delicious! But, back to the SO called " asiago bagel" .... so, this morning I sliced one open and it's just a role with barely any asiago cheese , I toasted it and smeared some butter on it . It was just kinda gross eating a big , bland, roll and you charge a dollar a piece . I ate half of one and threw the rest away . Now I'm stuck with 5 rolls which I'll use for breadcrumbs or something. False advertising!!! These are NOT bagels and you should stop calling them that . On a positive note , the staff are very friendly and the soup is very good . read more

Seeing as though this Panera is located in Bowie Town Center, it's usually pretty busy and can have really long lines. Nevertheless, it's like every other Panera in the area that I've been too. Great customer service, ample dine-in seating, and a vast selection of foods/drinks. They provide fresh, rib sticking and fun foods for the young and the old. Free WiFi is available and it's the perfect place to meet up for a quick informal bite to eat or group session/meeting for school or work. All and all, I enjoy this location, but I don't frequent it as much anymore because it's a bit to crowded for my taste. read more

So confused ‍ got to Panera at 9:50am no bagels smh....ask the cashier you all have no bagels at 9:50am she replies yes someone bought them all. I would have believed her if this was not first time. I think this location is always doing this based on customer flow and they try to make bagels based on how many people they think will come in smh. read more

Ordered a mac and cheese for rapid pick up and the food was spoiled! The whole thing tasted so off so i just threw it away. Not sure if what I was given was an old batch but it was no good. I called and let them know they gave me some bad food and all the lady said was if I go back to their location, to say i spoke with a specific person on the phone so they can give me a free mac the next time I go. 1) I would forget her name 2) I'm not going back to that location because this is my second bad experience with them... not ordering from this location again. I am planning to call again and demand a refund. read more

EXCELLENT! I went to this PB one day early in the morning to have some time with my daughter and to grab a quick bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted cheerfully so early in the morning. Customer service was great! I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and my daughter got a steak and egg on a croissant. We were both very happy with our order. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfy. Clean tables and floors. I will be returning! read more

Nice little spot that is good for a quick bite of various options, and may not clog your arteries as quickly as fast food. Their turkey paninis are very very good. The brocoli and cheese soup is decent as well although it could be a little thicker. Salads are decent. The bread is like a rock and could be used as a placeholder or weapon. Their chips suck. Prices are reasonable and service is a little pushy, but prompt. The Town Center makes for an excellent location. read more

I absolutely love Panera Bread! I have been coming here for years. It's right in my neighborhood, so on a nice day, I can walk here! I have had many items on there menu and I don't have a bad thing to say about any of it. Whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can't go wrong with Panera Bread! The classic cafe salad and Thai chopped chicken salad are two of my favorites. The whole grain bread that they offer as a side is delicious when served warm. You can't go wrong with there potato chips either. Another favorite are the soufflés that they offer for breakfast!! So yummy! I don't eat pork so I always get the spinach and artichoke. It is probably a million calories but worth it to have every once in a while. The coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos are also consistently good. In my opinion better than Starbucks. My only complaint is that they got rid of their grilled portobello mushroom panini. It was my favorite sandwich. I wish it would come back!! read more

The location is awkwardly set up for lunch time ordering. It's really hard to explain but if you visit the location during breakfast/lunch transition; you'll see what I mean. Now the staff are friendly to the customers and they are really accommodating. However, the orders are literally thrown together. I requested spinach on a sandwich once I received the sandwich I realized spinach was only on 1/2 the order. No big deal, the staff quickly corrected the issue. After visiting a couple location; I believe panera has unified customer service with all there locations. Yeah there are some managers that could always use help on ethics . Mostly they should work on execution and less people would complaint read more

I really like the service and management here. They switched up the menu and the grilled cheese us now on flatbread, not ciabatta. Even after they made it, they offered to make a new one for my daughter because of the confusion without being asked. And they keep the place clean and help bus the tables. read more

Purchased @ curbside pickup a Green Passion Smoothie. I have always received it in a small drink size cup. I typically purchase these 3-4 times a week and receive the same small drink size cup. So today, I receive a smaller cup. WHY?!? I go inside n spoke w/Patrick, the GM, who tells me I "must have gotten the hook up cuz this is the 16 oz cup." I don't care what size cup it is, I should receive the same cup I have always received, which is the small drink cup. Period! If I have been receiving the wrong size cup for years (literally cuz I'm obsessed w ths smoothie), not my problem. Ths is a training issue NOT a customer issue. Give me the cup I have always received!!! AND it wasn't blended properly read more

TERRIBLE! I ordered the Fuji Apple salad with no onions. I made the mistake of not checking my order before I left and they gave me the Green Goddess cobb salad and it still had onions in it..... Not sure how you get the two confused. Make sure you check your orders before you leave. read more

Not perfect but they're great at what they do. Whether it's a quick bagel and coffee on my morning commute or mac and cheese for the kids for lunch like today, Panera Bread stays consistent with the quality of the food, the friendly service and overall convenience. I've had disappointing experiences at other Panera's so was extremely surprised by the good food, cleanliness, and general efficiency of this one. We had three different half sandwiches (cuban, turkey, and a tuna) and three different soups (black bean, broccoli cheese, and cream of tomato). All of them were made with fresh ingredients and were tasty. My only complaint is that the portions are small and we had no leftovers to take with us. Our wheelchair user was able to get around although they could think through keeping path of access easier by moving sign out of the lobby and ensuring a clear way to the bathroom. I think this Panera's is so good it's pulling people away from the other chains in the Bowie center. read more

Was ok. I get my to go bag of food and head for the car. Now we are heading to NY so this is only a pit stop for food. Starting out the sandwiches so I can get driving again and realize my daughters bagel is not in the bag. Hit the brakes and head back into the store. FYI bagels are not at the sandwich side. Therefore not in the bag of food. Finally get her bagel and head back on the road. By the way the coffee was not that good. Should have visited Starbucks across the street. read more

For dinner, I ordered the OG Cobb salad with no avocado and no bacon, extra chicken, and added broccoli and onions, and it was amazing. That vinaigrette deserves its own shoutout because I truly do not know how they make it taste that good, but it is absolutely top tier. I decided to treat myself and got the brownie crumble from the honey bar. I was surprised to see grapes in it at first, but surprisingly, it worked. I have never had grapes paired with brownie before, but now I see why they made this combination. The only small downside is I could have used a few more pieces of brownie because I ended up with more toppings and grapes than brownie at the end. Overall, Honeygrow is consistently amazing. The staff is friendly, the space is clean and inviting, and I am genuinely so happy this location opened. I honestly do not know what I would do without them.

Period…read more I've been seeing this place all over social media, so when I found myself in the area, I had to see what the hype was about. First off, parking is easy. It's in a shopping center, so nothing stressful there, and the restaurant itself is easy to spot. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean, polished, and classy everything looked. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first time which I appreciated. They didn't just rush me through the line; they actually took time to explain the menu, how the bowls are built, and offered samples. That alone made the experience feel welcoming and intentional. Now let's get into the FOOD. Everything looked fresh. They have about four rice options (which is already a win), and I went with the pineapple coconut rice. For my protein, I chose grilled chicken, but they also offer shrimp, salmon, and even a mushroom option for vegetarians and honestly, the mushrooms looked so good I almost switched. For my added sides, I kept it simple because I really wanted to taste everything. Collard greens and sweet potatoes. But they also had plantains, and okra....real deal soul food options. I believe that security is there because people must get rowdy when the fee is mentioned. I have never seen security in a restaurant at 12pm. Needless to say, I came. I ate. It was delicious BUT I never hafta come back here again. Ever.

I could't find my pickle. Let me start by saying that I had a good experience. The food here was quality of most Penera Breads. I ordered a roast beef samich. That's right, a samich. It was a to go order prepared in a short amount of time no less. I returned back to my office with the samich and chips. I placed the food on my desk still wrapped in wax paper like material they place there samichs in. Every bite was perfection. The cheese, the lettuce, moist bites of pulled roast beef. It was more gratifying then the look I get as I tell some one " Your shoes untied." and they look down and immediately back up to see a Grinch sized smug smile across my face and I know, for that brief moment I owned their fate and crushed their faith in humanity. Yea, it was that good of a samich. It was not until I had completed my samich that I noticed a lump. Something slightly phallic hidden between the two sheets that wrapped my smug delight. A cross cut dill wedge. I could have had that smug mouth watering sensation with pickles and I only found out after the fact. I was crushed. Like knowing the whole time all I had to do was say something to that one girl in high school, but I didn't find out until the reunion. What could have been? It could have been bliss with pickle. It would have been on the same level as buying a lottery ticket and wining just enough to win another lottery ticket and that tick won you $10.
