This Panera Bread is conveniently located in a large plaza with tons of shopping. It is on the corner of the plaza next to a grocery store. My favorite items to get from Panera is the hazelnut coffee and a cinnamon swirl bagel with cream cheese. This time I visited they were out of most bagels. I was stuck with the cinnamon crunch which is far too sweet for me. Nonetheless, the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The coffee was delicious. The establishment is also very clean and organized.

This what they sent to my house. This isn't what i ordered. My issue isn't the type of sandwich. Its the quality. This looks like chitlins and smells like it. Its tuna though with a pool sized amount of mayo and banana peppers. I didn't know yall had those? This shit looks nasty and smells even worse. Im posting this every where since they wanna delete comments and pics off door dash with ya simple ass. They straight played in my food.

How the mighty have fallen. This location has started to seed. A long way from the store it once was. I was aware of downfall but the person with me was not aware so to prove it we stopped in. The restroom was filthy with paper all over the floor and toilet. If l was alone, that would have been enough for me to leave. Now for the food, ordered the flatbread pizza which was good for what it was. Both of us ordered soup that too was good. I got the steak with white cheese. Both of us asked for sandwiches that the store "was out of bread" it was in the 4 o'clock hour and you are out of bread? At a Panera? The store that has bread in the name? I chose another bread, and sat down. After all of that the sandwich was cold. After 2 bites l wrapped it up to take home and feed it to my microwave oven! Out of bread! That's like Rickles running out of insults. And he would have a few for this place...

Got frontega chicken, bagels, and broccoli cheddar soup. I went before the lunch rush at least as it relates to the line. There was no line. For reasons I don't really understand it took at least 20 minutes to get the chicken and soup. I watched the staff who were fulfilling all the mobile orders as well as the onsite ones. It seems they kept getting requests for a sandwich which was a sort of combo that was time consuming to make. They were a little frustrated. Also, some receipts were not printing. The manager, who was also fulfilling orders, told me that she could see my order and later the young lady apologized for the wait. As I left, the onsite line was growing. I can only guess there is something up with their prep process. I really enjoy Panera. So despite the wait I will return. The staff is very hard working and nice. Finally, I really enjoyed my frontegea chicken.

    Green Goddess Chicken Cobb Salad
    Isabella L.

I often come here for lunch and I always get the same thing, the Green Goddess Cobb Salad. The salad dressing consists of: Greek yogurt, fresh basil, shallot, basil pesto, wine vinegar, agave syrup, mayonnaise and dijon mustard. The way Panera describes this salad is "Mixed greens, crisp romaine and ice berg lettuce, blended, tossed in Green Goddess dressing, topped with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, fresh avocado, applewood smoked bacon and a hard-boiled egg." There's normally enough for 2 people and they give you a lot of grilled chicken. The cooks work hard to get your order right and they are quick to get the orders out.

    Cirque Monsieur

My first cirque monsieur. Wasn't dipped like some but the cheese/croissant sandwich combination was enough to give it a unique french flair. That being said, it was quite expensive for the amount of sandwich ($10).

Mind blown. Panera has its own pizza!!! I am a sucker for new menu items so I had to try it. The ingredients are top notch, the flavor profile is right, and the execution is wonderful for a place that is not a pizza joint by trade. The only issue is that the crust on this day seemed a bit tough...but still tasty. The flavor is rather simple but not in a bad way. Adults would like this pizza but kids would love it too. The pizza is similar in style to those slung at the D.C. area chain "&Pizza". It is a good facsimile for times when you cannot made it your favorite pizza spot. Pictured is the plain cheese version. I also had the Margherita with grape tomatoes, mozzarella and fontina, and fresh basil. That pie was good but they skimped on sauce and fresh basil. It must have been good because it was chomped down before I remembered to post a photo. I forgot Uncle Clifford's rule number 28.5 the camera eats first for Yelp and IG (no crying at the Pynk is rule # 24.5....). Good thing is the Panera app will allow you to customize such particulars as the amount or elimination of each ingredient. I just wish they had a selection of toppings similar to &Pizza. In addition to cheese and Margherita, there is a chipotle chicken & bacon concoction (solid pass for this non-pork eater). Panera should be proud of their latest menu addition. You can make it a combo meal (what would an American chain be without a combo meal) by adding soup or half of a sandwich. For about $13-$14 bucks not a bad deal. I love their other food options like soup, sandwiches and breakfast items like the oatmeal (pictured) and of course the fresh bread, but the pizza is just another arrow in the quiver. Star removed for the mediocre bagels. Just do better with the bagels please. Maybe it is me because they fly off the shelf, but perhaps sending a Panera delegation to a good local or NYC bagel purveyor for ideas and cooking techniques would help. Are the bagels even boiled then baked on premises? The stars of the show are the honey wheat bread loaf, thin sliced, and the classic baguette. The honey wheat makes a mean sandwich and the best darn homemade French Toast, if you get it thick sliced. The baguette tastes perfect to me. While I have never had a fresh one from France, my imagination is telling me it must be like this. I smear it with the Wegmans cave ripened Triple Creme Brie and some orange fig jam. Thank me later. No, try it, and send me a personal thank you afterwards. The coffee is really good too. I just miss the free refills that I would get if I turned one of their tables (and fast free WiFi) into my office...if only for 30 minutes at a time. Has Dr. Fauci said it is okay to go back to making coffee shop tables our pseudo offices yet? In these Covid times (and the 21st century), no reason you should not be using the fantastic Panera app. I saw a little old lady use it on her Jutterbug phone with the huge buttons so you have no excuse, even if you are team #droid. I order on the app and Wala Magic it is ready for me to pick up (or brought out curbside) in minutes. No need to see or touch an employee or queue up around other C-19 vectors...I mean customers. Definitely one of my favorite quick-serve places. Better bagels and they would earn that coveted fifth star.

    Look closely. Ugh.

In a clutch, Panera is always a good alternative to the mostly fried food and fast food spots nearby. Lots of options. I came in this evening to grab dinner for my folks and while I can appreciate a fly free food spot, I can't help being disgusted by the fly trap on the ceiling. It's like a fly graveyard

Which is wild, because I know I've taken a bunch of food pics here that I've never posted... complete waste lol. We walked in and were seated immediately and ended up getting the second-to-last available booth. Most of the room was couples on lunch dates, plus a group of friends, and later a party of about 7 took over one of the tables. Noise level was mostly moderate, with a quick sprinkle of loud when that bigger group got going, but nothing crazy, still totally fine for a date or a relaxed lunch. My wife ordered the A2 (slices of eye of round steak, well-done flank, and soft tendon). I got the A6 (eye of round steak and soft tendon). The pho was good, the broth had a lot of flavor. I did order extra noodles because while I like the pho here, the portions are a little smaller compared to some other spots we go to. I loaded mine up with bean sprouts, tore up some basil, and let the jalapeños sit in the bowl for a bit for heat. Lately though, I've been more about the chili oil, which they'll bring out if you ask. We also got shrimp summer rolls, which are always a go-to for me when eating pho anywhere. These were fresh, great texture, and the basil really pops. The peanut sauce is one of the best parts. Honestly, I could come here just for the summer rolls and that sauce. I also grabbed a taro smoothie, lightly sweet and creamy, solid choice. Food came out fast, maybe 8 minutes after ordering. Service here is consistently good. The staff is friendly, not pushy at all, and they actually check in on you without hovering. You can always get someone's attention if you need something. They even let a couple move from a table to a booth once one opened up, which I thought was a nice touch. The place itself is very clean, the tables and floors are always well kept. I don't really remember music, but there was a TV on playing college basketball. Overall vibe is relaxed. Parking can be a little tight since it's tucked behind a Rita's and the layout is kind of awkward, but even when it's full you're not walking far, just a compact lot. Price-wise, our total was about $40, but that included an extra summer roll and an extra smoothie. Without the extras, it would've been under $30. My only real critique is portion size for the price, specifically with the pho. It's not a deal breaker, but it's why this isn't my go-to spot when I'm really hungry. I'm a big guy with a big appetite -- my wife would be fine eating here any day of the week. Would I come back? Yeah. The food is good and the service is solid. For me, this is more of a quick lunch spot or a stop when I'm on the move, rather than a full dinner destination. Consistent, reliable, and never a bad choice, just depends on how hungry you are.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

The family with the girl and boy that ran the front is not there anymore. So if you used to come here like me, I'm doing you all a favor and letting you guys know this place is TERRIBLE now that they switched owners. Not only that but much more expensive for a poor quality imitation of what this place used to be under the OLD owners. Small bowl is more than $18 now!!! Insane. I got a small bowl asked for half noodles they didn't do that and only had fatty brisket in it even though I got #11 which included also tendon and flank. YALL THIS PHO WAS COLD. The temperature was as if someone left hot tea out for 30-40 minutes. No more piping hot clear good broth, this broth from the new owners is MURKY AND BROWN and cold/lukewarm. I didn't say anything but just know I will NEVER come back its simply not worth it. Pickled onions was drowning in a weirdly sweet vinaigrette. Go elsewhere for better pho. I feel like these new people know they are not as good as the old people so they didn't tell anyone about the owner switch and are basically tricking people into coming and paying more money for worse pho riding on the coattails of a different owners reputation and I feel weirdly upset about that, like I've been tricked. If you guys used to come here all the time with the old owners then you will understand how upsetting this is. This place survived through the pandemic in the middle of PG that's how good they were. Pillar of the community just gone now. Also they won an award for being one of the best woman owned businesses but it's not woman owned anymore and the new owners haven't changed anything and they still have that sticker up even though it's not a woman owned business anymore. It was our last day visiting fam in MD and we wanted to get some grub before the trip back to NY. There's a regular VN spot we frequent whenever we visit and it seemed to be closed so we didn't want to risk a drive out. We found Pho Tai 63 and called ahead to make sure they were open. Once that was done, we took the 20 minute drive to the restaurant and placed our order. The parking lot is SCANT. There are minimal spots. In this particular day (Black Friday), the place was packed, save for one spot and we got it. Upon entry, their dining room was full to capacity. We ordered some pho (that's all they have and I'm not mad - was a l'il disappointed at the time but we'll get to that). It too some time to get our food, much longer than expected, but I was not mad because there's definitely a reason for that. We brought every back home. Each pho dish was enough to feed two people my dad and brother ended up showing up at my sister's house the same time we got back. We had enough to feed everyone. The food is FRESH! the broths are clear and full of depth. You can make out the star anise and other herbs and spices. I split the shrimp pho with my brother since he doesn't eat meat. I got my sister the brisket pho. My son ordered the special pho and split that with my dad. Hubby also got a brisket pho and I got my daughter the chicken pho. The broths differ but each taste amazing. All of the pho came with the usual suspects: Thai basil, bean sprouts, hoisin sauce, lime and hot sauce. The accompaniments were plentiful so having extra mouths to feed worked out in our favor. My next trip south, I might have to do a taste test with both locations and see which I prefer. I wish they offered bahn mi sandos but honestly, with the caliber of pho they're dishing out, they are reigning supreme at the moment. Sometimes, it pays to focus on one thing and be REALLY good at it.
