I placed a catering order a week in advance at this Bellingham location. The menu selections are very accommodating to all dietary preferences within the office. If you're hosting a group of 5 or more I definitely recommend planning ahead to place a catering verses a rapid pick up order. There was virtually no customer service outside of yielding the customer their order. I greatly appreciate my order being prepared, and ready for pick up at the designated time as I had another 20 minute drive to my destination.

I always liked Panera Bread. C and I came here on a Thursday. We knew there was a Panera Bread that opened up near us. I got the dual tomato soup with 1/2 smoked bbq chicken sandwich. The sandwich was super delicious. The soup was really nice and creamy. It really hit the spot. I left the house in a rush that I didn't even have lunch so Panera bread was perfect since it was also on the way to where we were heading at that time. When you walk in, you place your order at the kiosk or you can head up to the counter. The restaurant has limited seating. They have a very interesting seating area inside the vault where there are some tables and chair. The drinks are laid out on the side of the restaurant. The place is pretty much self serve. The order took about 8 mins for them to prepare which was not bad. Free parking is available outside. Note that if you come on a Tuesday they have a dozen bagel for $10.99 (they call it the baker dozen special). I will be back for sure.

It has been a while since I last had something from Panera Bread. I'm glad this outlet opened up at Sunset Square as I come here often. You can place order at the kiosk by the entrance or go straight to the counter. The kiosk works for me as I need to refresh my memory on what they have and the choices are very wide! You can also order on the app or online if both are busy. I do like what they have here. From soups, sandwiches and salads to warm bowls and bakery items. On a cold day, soup is perfect. I ordered the French onion soup and it came with a piece of baguette. It was delicious! The soup is not as cheesy as some places where it is baked warm in the oven but it is still very flavorful. All the soup selections are very tempting, I'll have to come here again to try them all. Parking is available in the lot. There is a drive through too. Service is excellent. The staff offered to bring my tray to my table. I think I must have looked quite weak/unwell that day.

For many years I lived near a Panera Bread store. I became a big fan. I was excited when I learned a store was opening in Bellingham. I happened to stop in on their first day. Of course everything was new and clean. All the employees seemed happy and were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. It was served efficiently in a timely manner. It appears this store is off to a good start and will not disappoint.

At first glance it's an interesting corner joint next to a couple other businesses, but it turns…read moreout to be quite a fetching little spot! They have a pretty much perfect interior design and furnishing: very chill and simple but also very charming decor. Menu is very straightforward and simple and has pretty good pricing especially for a Bellingham spot. Service was great and not overstimulating like many places. Food was actually extremely well thought out and executed. Platings come in 2 sizes with simple choices of fillings/sauces, and the portion sizes were excellent- 1lb for me (a bigger guy) and 1/2 for the lady and we both were comfortably full after eating! Dessert deserves its own section in this review because holy mole: it was truly impeccable. I've had quite a few desserts in my time but these really "took the cake". Honey cake was beautiful and soft, it had a gentle sweetness and almost had a spiced undertone to it. Very light and very well executed, it sat perfectly with the dumplings. But the CRÈME BRÛLÉE :') I truly could weep over how beautiful this dish was, it was like I found the love of my life all over again. Gently centered on a plate half dusted with powdered sugar, topped with a small fresh strawberry and sprig of mint. Truly mind boggling how good it was, an incredible mix of sweet crème and gentle taste of black tea. I never expected this to be such a great combination but it was incredibly well executed. Whomever the mastermind was behind the creation of the menu and shop: I tip my hat to you, for this was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was obviously very thoughtfully planned out and perfected, I have mad respect for their work. 2 plates of dumplings, 2 drinks and 2 desserts was under 80$. An all time favorite date night spot at a much more reasonable price than other places near Barkley/Bellingham. 11/10 If I could give more than 5 stars I would

I was the only one there. I always wonder when I go to any food establishments that are this slow. Either their food is not that good or they have bad service or overpriced. I ordered a whole LB and my girls got drinks from the cooler fridge. I guess I should have paid more attention, but the lady charged me for 2 orders. Only realized that after I sat down and was wondering why my bill was like $90. When I went to the counter, the assistant pretty much placed the blame on me... " sorry for the misunderstanding " But the thing is there was no misunderstanding, I was pretty clear on what I ordered, either she wasn't listening or paying attention... She did offer me a refund, but at the time the food was already at the table. I chose to just take the "extra" surprise order to go. Dumplings were mediocre at best. I have had my share of Russian dumplings all the way from Moscow to New York to Chicago and this was hands down was the loser of all. Sauces were not bad but not enough for me to come back or to recommend this place to anyone. I would go to Pelmeni downtown instead next time.

Small portions for the price tho. What really irritated me was seeing that I was charged 1.50 for a tiny condiment cup of ranch. Ketchup is free so why charge me for ranch when it doesn't cost much more to make or buy? Seems like a money grab. I also hate being charged to use a credit card. Feel like being nickeled and dimed. Parking is hard to find and you have to pay 1.50 an hour. It's a pass next time.

Everything started to slowly go downhill once we got our waitress. She seemed like she wasn't interested in taking our order or checking on us during our whole visit here. We ordered the chuckwagon which was beef, Swiss cheese, onion, garlic aoli on a toasted bun with au jus and the roadrunner which was a chicken sandwich with cheese, ranch, and pickles and lettuce which I had taken off. The chuckwagon was really dry and flavorless. The fries were just okay. The roadrunner was actually pretty good the chicken was just a little dry and overcooked on parts of the chicken and the fries were also just okay. Our waitress never came to see how our food was or ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks. When it came time to pay she was no where to be seen and it actually took a while for any of the staff to come around for us to ask someone if we could get our check. The prices here are a little high for the quality you get in my opinion. If they made some changes with their food quality and staff we would maybe come back but for the experience we had we definitely wont be back.

We saw some people exiting Goat Mountain and were able to snag their empty seats at the bar. Lucky us! And not only for the seats. We've never been here before, and we had a great time. We ordered the Goat Mountain Salad--huge! A bargain! Varied! Delicious! And I, who has never met a beet that I didn't dislike, was delighted that ingredients were grouped individually so I could avoid those. Wonderful salad! And--for a mere buck--you can order a dressing on the side for anything you want. The buttermilk was delicious. I ordered a slice of the Apple & Bacon pie; my guy, Potato & Bacon. Upon their arrival, our notions of pizza were shattered. These were big slices of cake! (Website says Roman-style--we've been to Rome, but these exquisite things were very different.) Totally yummy. As was the warm chocolate chip cookie--divine. (Funny story: I didn't have my readers on. I thought the price was $25. "That's quite a cookie!" I thought, imagining one as large as a pizza--which, incidentally, would have been more expensive than their full pizzas! I looked over the Happy Hour menu, planning a future return. The cookie on the HH menu was only $2. A savings, I excitedly told our bartenders, Miyuki and Montana, of $23!!! No, they told me: 50 cents. I hadn't been able to see the dot.) And speaking of our barkeeps, I am so glad we sat up at the bar. They were wholly delightful and friendly. We very much enjoyed chatting with them. We felt like we had just moved and this was our new "neighborhood bar." And their recommendations for food and drink were spot on. The Smoke in Mirrors was fantastical! Great place!

My companion and I arrived during Happy Hour and these two selections are on that menu, so we had them again--and I guess the utility of this review is to say that these selections continue to be consistently delicious and that this is a wonderful place. We also shared an Afogato--vanilla gelato with decaf espresso poured over! Perfect, quite light after our meal and beautiful enough to paint as a watercolor. This is one of our easy go-to's when looking to dine out. We were happily helped by friendly bartenders, Nicole and Sie, who made great recommendations and great drinks for us. I especially loved the Mario Cicotti cocktail (an interesting variant of an Old Fashioned--including tobacco bitters and charred orange peel!--very interesting). And we enjoyed the beautiful, warm Montepulciano Nicole recommended. And they concocted a surprise drink for my dessert--I can't recall what it was--but it was lovely and came with a bunch of hearts! Consistently wonderful place in all ways, with lots of heart itself. In my opinion, what's not to love?
