My parents are visiting America for the very first time -- literally their first time outside China -- and I wanted to take them somewhere that felt truly local, not a chain restaurant or tourist spot. Get Your Grub On was exactly that kind of place. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. You can immediately feel that this is real homemade cooking -- not "corporate restaurant food." Watching him work in the kitchen and smelling the food coming out fresh honestly made the whole place feel like a true American Southern "farmhouse/local comfort food" experience. We ordered the fried chicken, catfish trio, and chicken pasta. The fried chicken was AMAZING: * perfectly crispy outside * juicy inside * smelled incredible the moment it came out But the real surprise was the catfish. It was unbelievably tender -- literally melt-in-your-mouth soft while still fresh and flavorful. Easily some of the best catfish I've ever had. Portion sizes were HUGE too. Three people ate for around $70 and we were completely full. Yes, the seasoning is definitely Southern-style and a bit salty for some Asian tastes, but even my parents -- who are completely Chinese and very familiar with authentic Chinese cuisine -- still genuinely enjoyed the food and kept talking about how good and unique the experience was. That says a lot. This place feels like the kind of hidden local restaurant that makes traveling meaningful. Not fancy. Not trendy. Just real people making real food with heart. Highly recommended if you want authentic local Southern comfort food and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

Never a disappointment when I pullup to Get Ya Grub On. Good people. Good vibes. Good environment…read more Darell always looks out for his customers.

We had the fried pickles which are amazing! They do spears instead of chips which is different and good. Got the chicken finger platter for lunch. These things are gigantic! They give you 3 and that's probably too much lol. Very good experience. Will definitely come back when In the area.

First time into Champy's was decent. I will say, we went on possibly the coldest day (2 degrees…read moreoutside), but insulation in the building is awful. We originally were sat at a smaller four-person table right by the roll up windows towards the front of the restaurant, and the draft was so intense, we were freezing even with jackets on. We asked to be seated somewhere else, which they did (although that spot wasn't much better), and placed another couple at the original table. Within minutes they had the same issue... bundling up, switching seats around, etc. our waitress seemed on the younger side, and maybe even new. But she appeared visibly confused with just about every request we had. Her response was usually "uhhhh..... okay" followed by us getting wrong drinks/food. The food overall was decent. The chicken tenders were juicy and crispy and the ranch was great. Their fries were delicious. It likely wouldn't be my first choice in picking a place to eat, but I do believe it deserves a second chance. I'll be going back when it's warmer to hopefully have a different experience.

The decision came down to Hai Woon Dai, which is close, and King Market. As I wanted a few things from the market, King won the day. I have heard great things about the food here and it did not disappoint. The red curry was one of the best I ahve had and I even asked what coconut milk they used so I could get a can to make some Thai food at home. I will get back and try some Laotian dishes next time. The atmosphere is like a restaurant in a store. Oh, wait, it is a restaurant in a store. But I wasn't here for the ambiance. I was here for the food. The benefit of being in a market is you can grab Asian items for home, including some fruits and vegetables you won't find at your local Kroger. I included the menu, so you can see how reasonable the prices are. I will also state the portions are good for the price. As for the market, there is a nice selection of items from Asia or used in Asian dishes. I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery. I usually hit K&S, so need to compare prices, as both of these are about equi-distant to where I lived right now (although 24 is more of a pain than 40 west). Kudos to a great experience.

I truly enjoyed every bite. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try to share with the whole family. Nothing beats papaya salad and wings with sticky rice! I had to try the Lao style sukiyaki and it did not disappoint. We also bought some food and groceries to go. They have a variety of things. This restaurant is located inside a market. You can either shop or eat or both. I can't wait for the next time we're in Nashville. This will always be one of my stops.

My husband and I come here with our family and dog often because there is patio seating and it's conveniently located next to the outlets. You just can't beat a pizza and beer on a nice day outside. And they keep it interesting at Tailgate, with a rotating selection of craft brews on tap and a pizza of the month. I am a creature of habit and will usually order the tailgate orange wheat beer (tastes even better on tap than in cans from the store!) and a hot honey pizza. On occasion I'll venture out on a limb and try the pizza of the month. For April 2026, the pizza of the month was ham, blackberry jam and ricotta. It was a hit for all of us (even my dog!) and I wish I could order this again and again. This last time we also ordered a flight to try some of the new beers on the menu. The most unique sip we tried was the TG blast, Tailgate's boozy version of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Go check it out while it's still there!

Each one was better than the last. We have also gotten some of their apps and they didn't disappoint. The only thing that left us confused/annoyed is that they charge for ranch... I've never been charged for ranch after buying a $30+ pizza, $12 appetizer and $8+ beers. It feels like they're just nickel and diming you. This location has a cool atmosphere, and it's probably my favorite of all the Tail Gate locations. I love how open it is and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a good amount of TVs, making this a solid option to watch a game at. This place can be a nightmare to get to during the holidays, specifically when it comes to parking. There aren't enough parking spots in this shopping center and it can be a madhouse.
