    Beyond Orange Chicken
    Robert S.

I love Panda Express. This last time, we ordered the Beyond Orange chicken bowl and their Teriyaki chicken bowl. Both were nicely done, the Beyond chicken had a bit of a sweet and sour taste to it, which was a bit unexpected. I always love their Teriyaki Chicken...you get so much white meat ! Their app is easy to use for ordering and in a few minutes, your fast food order is ready to be picked up. They were very nice to drop the fortune cookies in the bag without having to ask. Nice easy meal.

My sister and I were in the area and wanted something relatively quick and easy. We noticed that Panda Express had their own store rather than inside a mall food court; clearly we haven't had Panda Express in ages! The employees were great - attentive and friendly. There were only two employees on duty; however, they worked very quickly to ensure customers get their orders at a reasonable time. One employee prepared and restocked food when necessary and the other helped customers with their orders. The location is very convenient as it is in a shopping plaza (its own store). It is very spacious so feel free to dine here if you'd like. I personally grabbed my order to go.

Great location. Great staff. Clean environment. Delicious food. What more can I ask for? Hands down the best Panda Express we've been to. Everything was spot on from the moment we walked in to when we got home to enjoy our meals. Quick, easy, and affordable. Keep it up panda!

Living in the suburbs, my options for decent Chinese or Asian inspired fare are incredibly limited. And by limited I mean that there's a ton of mediocre, 'Americanized' pseudo Chinese restaurants that serve loads of oily, disgusting pieces of mystery chicken, covered in some thick, sugary sauce with some suspicious lookin' fried rice. So enters Panda Express, a modern, quick and affordable spot that is surprisingly good. Some of their dishes are dare I say, great? Yes. Not too sweet, not too oily, not that unhealthy and quick. They don't let things sit around too long and frequently refill their stations with small batches of the dishes to keep things fresh. Service is friendly and they even have TVs in there so you can watch the news or a game. I'm a sucker for their Shanghai Angus Steak, their orange chicken (fun fact: nobody serves more orange chicken in the word than they do). Their newly introduced Super Greens side is also super tasty and is a mix of kale, broccoli, and cabbage. Honestly, for the money, it's hard to beat. And at least I won't live in regret from yet another meal at a local 'Chinese' spot that just isn't worth it at the end of the day. And while I'm not typically a fan of chains, this is actually family-owned and they do a lot of philanthropy... So while not as good as superb Chinese restaurants, this is the next best thing if in the area, and you're craving some Asian-inspired food.

    Not great food

This is gonna be the very 1st time that I have ever eaten any food from Panda Express the looks of it it is what it is it's just food nothing spectacular but thankfully for me I come prepared at I have my own hot oil to go with it

Order a big plate did the survey for the third entree free. The survey isn't worth the scoop of entree lol food was great tho!

Did a lunch visit with a friend, going our own way with lunch combos and adding a couple of full-order appetizers. -- Spareribs on the Bone: St Louis cut ribs with ruby red glaze, just a bit of char, and a clear honey glaze to sweeten things further. Not the meatiest, not the juiciest, and not the most tender, but they got the job done, thanks to the very pleasing flavor. These have the potential to be stellar at night. As sampled, above average to well above average, even with the flaws. -- Egg Rolls: Extra crunchy exterior and a soft, stringy assortment of both cabbage and celery for greenery, accented with pork. Above average. -- Chicken Wing (the included appetizer on a combo): Not dark of skin, but still crispy. A bit dry. Kinda plain, with discernible but light marinade. Average to slightly below average. -- Hot and Sour Soup: Not many mushrooms or other fillers. Mostly thick, weirdly gloppy broth and some scallions. Spice present, flavors good, textures not so good. Balances out to average. -- Szechuan Style Chicken with Peanuts: Other than having the two ingredients listed in the name, it didn't seem like similarly named dishes or kung pao. Pea pods standing in for celery. Chicken was high quality and the flavors were appealing, with spice coming through and a hoisin-equestrian undercurrent adding depth. A little above average even if different. -- General Gao's Chicken: My friend's lunch combo. He said it was heavy on the breading and had one-note sweetness. A mixed bag, but a worthy visit if you need something in the area. Lunch specials at $11.95 have a more than fair amount of food, so a good value. But it's those spareribs that'll bring me back. Attentive service. Parking in back of the building.

Some highs and lows…read moreover my last 3 visits, but way too many lows to ignore, even as a former fan and defender. -- Spareribs: Until the past year or so, I regarded Tahiti's spareribs as top 5, maybe even top 3. No longer. The last 3 attempts have all been reheats and all looking like a scattering of random bones from different racks, with charring the only strongpoint. Some were close to cold and some were tough to chew. On average: Average, but formerly elite. -- Egg Roll: A rollercoaster of quality on my recent visits. Narrower than before, but reliably celery-filled and crunchy inside. The shell is sometimes crispy, sometimes bendy, as if sitting around a while. Interiors sometimes moist, sometimes very dry. Flavor has been above average every time. Overall, above average to well above average, though formerly near-elite. -- Lobster Sauce: I've liked the relatively new recipe that's less like motor oil and more on the light side with whole black beans in the mix. But the most recent one was bland and watery. Still good enough to be average, but formerly near-elite. -- Sweet and Sour Chicken: Fingers merely flirting with crisp and typically low meat-to-batter ratio. Unusual topping of onions, peppers, pineapples, and no cherries, with a sauce that seemed an exact compromise/blend of the typical golden and red styles. Sour along with the sweet, but subtle. A little above average. -- Pork Fried Rice: Among my 3 recent visits, solid once, disappointing twice. Fresh once and long in the tooth twice, and varying levels of bland all 3 times. Minimal pork nuggetry. Typically lukewarm. Overall, average, but formerly near-elite. -- Orange Beef: Nice mix of sweet and tart (caramelly along with the orange), good crunch, and good quantity and thickness of the tender beef slices. Very solid dish, and it even rivals Bernard's version, which is saying a lot. A rare bright spot among recent visits. Seems like this place is mailing it in lately, as if they're knowingly cutting corners and sacrificing repeat dining business because their real money comes from the bar. It's a shame, because I used to be a big fan.

My 93 year old dining companion has been lamenting he has not had good Chinese in awhile and I was trying to remedy that! Parking lot is small and the signage on the street can be tricky as well but we found it and I am so glad we did! Decent size menu and we were having trouble deciding what to get and we didn't want a ton of leftovers. I noticed a page with lunch special and it didn't say Monday - Friday only (I was there on a Saturday) so I asked - specials are good 7 days a week! Perfect I chose string beans, pork fried rice and beef teriyaki. Dining companion got shrimp with veggies, pork fried rice and fried shrimp Food came out piping hot which I love. Serving size was generous as well. My string beans had a delicious sauce laced with ginger and was very tasty! Pork fried rice was delicious and my teriyaki was very tender. My dining companion was pleased with his meal - shrimp were large and plentiful! On entering we were greeted by our server John there was no wait time so we were seated right away. We ordered pina coladas we did want them frozen but I can't recall if they didn't have them frozen or the mixer was broken but never the less they were perfect, I can't recall. I appreciate when a restaurant add just enough alcohol to where you don't feel like you are paying alcohol prices for something that tastes like a mocktail. We ordered a special dinner plate as we had just missed the lunch special but even so the prices were reasonable. Our meals were good and nicely portioned. They do have a bar where you can grab a drink and food. There was a tv at the bar and one near the dining area. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Finally I did notice they have regular customers and the owners know them by name. That says a-lot for a place. All around a good experience if you're looking for a place to drop in and grab a quick meal.
