A little disappointed by this visit. We walked in and there was one employee taking selfies on his phone and texting them to someone and two other male employees in the kitchen area. The younger female who helped us when we first walked in was very friendly. My friend and I both sampled two of the different chickens. Upon my friend ordering his meal I proceeded to order mine, by the time I told the lady what I wanted and someone from the drive through ordered there was no more rice or chicken left. They told me it would be a 5 minute wait. Unfortunately my friends dish had already been made. Leaving him to either eat without me while his was hot, or wait for mine and eat a cold dish. At minimum when we paid and I wasn't given anything to eat I expected to be comped a free soft drink while I waited. Needless to say nothing was done to make up for this poor judgment of having food available. While I waited the 5 minutes for my food the one guy continued to mess around on his phone in the open behind the serving bar. read more

I have had good food from Panda Express. I love the Beijing Beef and Kung Pao Chicken from OTHER locations. I have an extremely high tolerance for spicy food, but the crap I brought home tonight is inedible. The ratio of peppers in the dish is insane. I can usually put the whole peppers aside, but there's A LOT of small bits. I can't eat this garbage. I suspect shenanigans from the staff. So funny. Won't be back. read more

All the standard menu items though dry still tasted as they normally do. However, I would highly recommend that you stay away from the new specialty items! We just ordered the crispy sesame steak & shrimp that was so burnt that it was black (see the attached photo). It was also not crispy, I am assuming they drowned it in sauce in an attempt to cover up the burnt taste but it just tasted like coal! Luckily for them I had to pay an extra $6 for this specialty charcoal. This location definitely kicks the Anch location in the butt. Was hesitant to go here bcuz Tikahtnu was such a let down but this was sit-down restaurant quality good. My husband and I LOVE Panda Express- it's our favorite fast food chain. The Wasilla location usually is a bit slow with their service and you never know what you're going to get- one time we had one of the Girls there give us hardly ANY food- just to give you an idea, I usually can't finish my plate there because I'm so stuffed. I was able to finish my serving and still be hungry. My husband who never likes to complain said from that one visit, he never wanted to go to this location ever again since it's so over priced to get jipped from the normal serving amount. Their quality is hit or miss at this location as well- sometimes there isn't as much sauce covering the meat as the other locations but overall, we still love panda and I'm just glad they have one in Wasilla! read more

Ordered Beijing Beef at Wasilla Panda. Absolutely terrible tasting missing most of the breading and tasted charred the more I had consumed. I went inside the restaurant to ask for a new one and was willing to wait for next batch. They acted like I was trying to steal from them because I had already eaten a little more than a 1/3 of box. I never complain about food anywhere but I felt this was terrible. They explained since I already ate some they could not help me. I told them the realization of what I was eating had gotten worse and worse As I was eating. So to remedy the Situation I was willing to pay for half of the cost of the large Beijing beef to get a better batch and they looked dumbfounded at me said they couldn't do that. I decided to give them a second chance and it was the same, hard old chow mein noodles that have been sitting under a heat lamp all day, old rice, fatty pieces of chicken, no sauce covering sauced items, mushy vegetables. Finally! Panda Express in Alaska! I love this place! Long waits to be expected. I do prefer the Anchorage location to this one. They may waltz in on you while you potty, but the Anchorage at Tikatnu location is friendly, faster, and more generous with their servings and smiles. On top of the food quality being awful, I always have to wait for my food and when I get it, it's the wrong order or it's gross!
