The plate usually has two spots for the double entree they split it one side shrimp one side orange and proceeded to put a half of my orange chx in the tiny side cup... WTF. This isn't India. Put the shrimp in there. So get this, I Open the bigger plate and it wasn't even fried rice!!! that's the best part. It was plain white rice like why did you put that in there? lol these people suck at the easiest jobs it's incredible. First off the "center" this Panda is in is no good. It is the only business in the center really and it has a convoluted entrance and exit that is extremely inconvenient and tedious. Often a long line at the drive-thru. Then there is always a line inside even if picking up. They don't put food out and require visual confirmation of your phone/order number. They could save us a lot of time but not doing this or doing it a different way. The food is overpriced for what it is and the ingredients often aren't fresh even at times when they should be. This location is great about 70% of the time. The rest of the time they dont give me my paid large drink, and today they gave me my plate with 0 entree in it. I have learned not to order certain entrees here because they always taste off and its never fresh so i stick to the same order everytime. I quickly arrived at the window to pay . The worker accidentally handed me someone else's order , I told her it's not mine , and that mine was just one kids meal. So normally the food quality is very fresh compared to other pandas. Which is a huge plus in this panda. It is always very clean inside and most of the people are smiling if not all of them which I really like. Some night ago: The girl who rung me out was very nice. She was small and had big square glasses. Update: I just met Jazmin and she was absolutely amazing! She totally made my day! Her energy was so contagious in a good way. She was so nice and she greeted me like a friend even though I just met her. She spoke to me like a friend too. I just felt so welcomed and I loved her positivity. She offered me a sample and waited for the very hot out new order to portion my last entree. She offered! I didn't even know it was coming! She asked if I came often and I actually do stop by to this Panda often for the convenience and I like this type of food. Really horrible customer service. Did an order online for "rapid pick up":( every other place I've gone to, you can go through the drive through to pick up an order that has already been ordered and paid for already. I go through the drive thru and tell them I already preordered. She said ok to pick it up at the drive thru window. I wait like 3-4 min and then get to the window where they tell me (instead of telling me at the order microphone) that I have to go In store to pick it up! I wouldn't be so pissed off if they had told me so at the order microphone! Poor customer service step number 1! They have a million people (literally 10-14 people) working there when I enter the store. There's a girl at the register who tells me she will be "right with me". Instead of informing that she was in the midst of helping someone ahead of me (which it didn't look like as the couple was way on the other side of the counter behind the food barriers - not by the register when I arrived at the register), she cross diagonally talks to them a minute after I arrive and tells them the total bill and gets their payment without the least apology/ informing me/ getting someone else to help me! How rude/ poor and untrained customer service skills!!! Then, if the above two weren't enough, the rude young lady tells me that I have to have "a code" (as the other lady at the drive thru window said) in order to pick up my order. I told her I already went through an ordeal to set up a Panda Express account in order to order and pick up since the offer I had had was from t mobile and it wouldn't accept my order as a guest. Another lady comes around to see if I have "the code" and no one even bothers to ask me what my name is nor if I had even ordered it yet - even though I had been telling evening from the drive thru mike to the drive thru window to the in store register lady that I WAS COMING TO PICK UP AN ORDER I HAD ALREADY ORDERED!!!!! Finally when I get into the Panda Express account I had made, the 2nd lady tries to "do the order" for me and "find a code"; I told her there would be no code as I had already used it on the order I made online (that I followed t mobiles express instructions step by step on their app for the Panda Express online site to make the order; she says it's not really "their fault" since upper management said they had to have a code (really seething that I was having to deal with really square box thinkers). I don't even know why she told me the above statement since it was neither here or there. I go to my orders and show her that I made an order for pick up at 810 pm. She sees this and FINALLY Asks me my name, looks behind at the orders that had been preordered and paid for and says, "oh it's here! It was made awhile ago and it's been here the whole time". I was about ready to scream, "that's what I have been saying all along and no one has been listening to me nor even checked to see that my order is here!!!!" I wasn't trying to place an order like those square thinkers kept thinking!!!!!! I just grabbed the order and walked out pretty upset that I'd just wasted precious moments of my life at this moronic restaurant with moronic, busy employees that have no customer service skills at all!! They didn't even try to apologize when they handed me the order!! After a day of running errands, I was near this Panda location so went there to order food and got harassed by the manager for changing my mind on ordering a bowl instead of a plate. When you go to panda, you know what to expect and that is average fast food Americanized Chinese food. If you were expecting anything else, you'd be greatly mistaken and not to mention disappointed. Panda is a good place to pick up lunch when you need to pick up something quick. Food is cooked already and pretty much scooped onto a plate. Although panda can get crowded at times. Sometimes I'm surprised at how busy it can get. This location seems to be pretty tame. They've done a lot of remodeling so panda is definitely nicer than it used to be. Mind you, my partner has been up since 4am working his construction job in 100+ degree weather. We get to the drive thru and are ordering our food. The guy on the speaker box is taking our order and my partner orders a plate and says he wants a plate with chow mein, beijing beef, *pause* the guy on the box asks "do you want double" and my partner says yes, thinking he's talking about double chow mein versus half rice. We then see on the screen the employee put double bejing beef. My partner NICELY says oh i'd actually like bejing beef and kung pow chicken. The employee then goes "Uh, K. so I just asked you if you wanted double and you said yes" and my partner apologizes. SERIOUSLY? As someone who's been working in customer service 10+ years, my coworkers and much less myself, would respond to a customer in that smarta$s way! So upsetting. We get to the window and the employee, I believe his name was Ethan, or Ian, I forget, but he was extremely rude. I always get super greens/white rice and string bean chicken at any Panda Express. After living near this one for over a year, I've found that this location consistently has really bland, tasteless super greens. They're allegedly supposed to have a light garlic sauce but they just taste boiled. Also, today I got one sliver of chicken in a sea of seriously mushy green beans. The green beans are consistently mushy as well. It's like they know you can't watch what portions you're getting while in the drive through, so they purposefully skimp on your food or give you the gross last bits. I just enjoy giving a business 5 star rating. I have been here before many times and never gave a review. Which I am happy to report/review it was an excellent visit! That wasn't the case during my past visits, but I am here to rave about my current visit. There was a friendly greet as I walked in. I glanced through the glass guard as a customer ordered. I had my eye on the yummy Crying Tiger, but it there was about a 1 person serve left in the display. I asked if I could get an order from a fresh batch, and they complied with no attitude. While I waited they offered a sample of one of the new dish. Also, I was offered spring rolls while I waited for the dish. The gals were apologetic when a customer had to wait (it was a brief wait even). As I was waiting another customer had come in with a problem with an transaction. She apologized kindly to the customer and even offered a comp drink. I think management took on two great employees, I found they were excellent in their customer service. Oh, I guess I better mention how the food was. I had the Crying Tiger and the Beef Broccoli and it was fresh and tasty. Of course I came in between 11-11:30am so the food was fresh. It's a very rare occasion when I actually sit down and think "wow Panda sounds really good right now", but when those Chinese food cravings hit I can't be stopped. Normally I'd order from Chinex, but today was just one of those days where I really only could put in the effort of driving the car and not having to get out, so I went to Panda. There was no line which was awesome. I wish I could remember the girls name who was at the window, she was so so sweet and definitely earned at least one of these stars. My meal was ready quickly and I am really impressed that it was a 2 entree plate plus a medium iced tea totalling under $10! I ordered the Beijing Beef and the Beef and broccoli. Beef and broccoli definitely needed more flavour as the sauce was very bland, and I had much more broccoli than I had beef. The Beijing beef was ok. I kind of liked that it was crispy because it was deep fried, but there was a strange sort of grittiness to the batter which threw me off. The chow mein I think always lacks, yet I still always get so excited to have it.
