Tried Epic Wings today, and I'm so glad I stopped in! Destiny was incredibly sweet and helpful. I forgot to request my wings extra well-done, but she went back to the kitchen to make sure they added extra cooking time. I definitely came at the right time because they got busy shortly after! The vibe was nice and chill, the music was good, and the service was great. Such a pleasant pickup experience! read more

I hate to say it, but I feel like this place has fallen off. Maybe it's just this location, but I grew up eating here back when it was Wings N Things the good old "Neighborhood Spot Since '82." Back then, the dining room was always packed, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it felt like a place the community loved. So much has changed, and unfortunately not for the better. I remember being able to order 12 wings as all flats or all drums. Now it's only "mostly" flats or drums, at least at this location, in case anyone else was wondering. The food was still hot, fresh, and tasted great, so credit where it's due. However, the service was below average. There wasn't much hospitality, and the overall experience felt cold and transactional. Good food alone doesn't make up for a lack of customer service. I remember Epic Wings being known for both great food and a great experience. This location could really benefit from more hospitality training to bring back what made the brand feel special. read more

I love me some Epic Wings.... BUT what's the point of calling in my order 30 minutes before so that it'll be ready when I go on my (30 minute) lunch break just to get there and have to wait another 15 minutes at the restaurant. I literally called and placed my order at 5:30 but my ticket was rang in at 5:55, didn't get my food until 6:15. And there was only ONE other person dining so it's not that they were busy. This is usually my experience when deciding to get food from here. It's delicious and always fresh so I will keep supporting the business regardless. read more

Pretty good place across campus. Love the rice chicken bowl. Cant complain about good wings. It'll be one of my usual spots

I come here maybe once or twice a month for lunch for the past 2 years because I love their lemon pepper wings. I've never had an issue with the service and my food has always been ready within reasonable time. I do feel like the ambient temperature inside can be a bit too cold sometimes but on those days I just find a table next to a window where the sun is hitting and its fine. read more

Wanted to write a review and share my experience of how awesome Epic Wings in San Marcos catering experience was for me I worked with Monica throughout the entire process and she was absolutely amazing. I was able to place my order over the phone instead of the Internet, which made it really easy and seamless. She was able to give me different options that I couldn't see on the computer and the prices were fair and the packages she developed for me worked wonderfully. All of the food was delicious. It was delivered hot and the chicken was crispy. All of the breadsticks were still hot as well and the salads were a big hit. They gave us an abundance of napkins and plates, along with utensils. Monica paid extreme attention to detail and made the whole experience a great one There was no stress at all. She even opened up her business early so I could pick up the food and get it to my event. I will definitely be coming back here the next time we have another event that we need catered read more

I decided to phone in an order while I did a little shopping at the rouse in the strip mall. The staff member told me it'd be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. I took about 20 minutes to shop headed over and asked if my order was ready gave them my name . I was told it should be ready shortly I had a seat I waited 10 minutes 15 minutes and then asked somebody else hey can you check on my order? Staff member went in the back a minute later came out got on the computer typed on it for a second told me oh it hasn't been created yet because you haven't paid. This was 45 minutes after I placed the phone order, why would I place a phone order if the order isn't going to be created until I get there and pay for it? Either this is a new policy and some of your staff is unaware or they flat out forgot to make my order. read more

Pro Review: Hmm what do I say. Oh how dearly I love epic wings (aka Wings N Things) but man oh man how disappointed I was the other day. As a current pro yelp reviewer, me Tommy J. I'm very well known in the Yelp community for rating fancy well know places, but sometimes I get my fast food cravings. And Epic Wings of San Marcos disappointed me. I had a very long day of work and was craving chicken wings. I bought a big bag of wings and headed home. But little did I know, as I opened the bag. There were only 4 wings. I WAS LIVID. My day was completely ruined. So what did I do, you may be wondering? I called back and all I got was a "we're very busy" Then the girl went in to say "you can drive 20 minutes back, but you have to bring the food." Ridiculous. This is unacceptable, especially to do to a current pro yelp reviewer. The manager ended up calling me later, and I got half of my money back at least. Down with the wings. I won't be back Tommy J out. read more

In my opinion this location is the best of all Epic Wings around San Diego County. I have been to many...and this one just stands out....the food is always on point...they have a great crew here and obviously great management. The store is spacious and super clean....its comfortable. It's strange to me that all of their stores don't offer the "garlic Parmesan" flavor.....this is my absolute favorite!! read more

I enjoyed the ambiance from my perspective. The cashier service was very clear understanding and polite. The food came out fresh and was great to my taste. It's wings or chicken tenders on the menu. I had a rice bowl in which i enjoyed very well. I also had the bread sticks and which were delicious. I would recommend them w/ a dipping sauce, but was delicious. I would eat here again. Food had good amount of sauce and flavor. read more

I come in here occasionally and this place never lets me down. Always amazing food and really consistent. Besides the owners being so down to earth they chose a great staff . Today I'd like to recognize Destiny. Every time I come here she is smiling and happy to take my order. You see I had a sever brain injury snd am considered mentally disabled and repeat myself a lot but she is so kind to answer my questions even if I repeat myself a lot. You can tell she is a kind and sincere person. Just wanted to make she she is recignized for an outstanding job. read more

This location seems a lot newer than the other ones I've been to. We came in on a rainy evening and there was barely any line. I ordered my usual Single Meal with 5 Boneless Wings with Hot Buffalo Sauce and Honey BBQ mixed together ($11.95). It does take a while for us to get our food but that just means that everything was freshly made. Also just be sure to grab some utensils when you get your drinks because they don't hand them to you when they drop off your order. I thought it was a bit weird since other locations have given us utensils at the same time as when they dropped off our plates, but maybe it's a covid thing with this location, I don't know. They give you enough sauce to smother both the chicken and the breadsticks in them, as well as the ranch sauce as well. The hot spiciness is my perfect amount of spice because it definitely gives that hotness while not yet overpowering anything else that you eat. The celery and carrot sticks are a nice refreshment from the heat though. If spiciness isn't your thing then they have a bunch of other sauces and dry rubs that you can choose from instead, so there's a flavor for everyone. Epic Wings has always been my favorite chicken wing spot to go to, and this location is definitely one of the better ones that I've been to. It's an easy place to find in the CSU San Marcos area and it's super close to the freeway which makes it perfect for pit stops, which is why I stopped by this one in the first place. read more

I order today and I was charged above what it was showing in the menu, the chaos was noticeable, floor and tables were not cleaned, I came back and asked for my Togo order by my name (Ryan)and received something and left. At home, the order was completely wrong for items and value, so I called, she put me on hold for 15 minutes, when finally she picked up and I was explaining the item was wrong, she said "you asked for Nicole and I gave you that" and hanged up. Actually she gave me Zion instead of Ryan. read more

Ordered 3 epic fries online. Drove to pick up and drove home to notice one of the orders was wrong, name on the bag wasn't mine. So I drove back with that order and called on my way there to have them start re making it so I didn't have to wait. I told the girl over the phone to please make sure no chipotle sauce. I get there they had it ready I walk out get into my car and open them and they had chipotle sauce on them! So I go back in and say it's wrong again. Keep in ming MY meal is sitting at home getting cold! And now I have to wait for this meal to get remade. So I ask her if they can remake MY meal that is sitting at home getting cold. And she response no, you need to go back home and bring back that meal to be replace. I looked at her like you are joking right!??? So now I need to drive all the way back home to pick up a meal you guys are obviously gonna throw away to be replaced because of THEIR MISTAKE! The customer service at this location is not there. Also I had asked to speak to a manager to hopefully make this situation right and I was told they had no management person to speak to. So I had her call her on the phone and the manager said the same thing. I had to drive back home and get that meal to be replaced! The fact that they could make this situation right is mind blowing. read more

I ordered $72.14 of food The order came It was to go I asked the guy at the Cashier if I can get a small little cup of the habanero super spicy one and he tried to charge me $.75 once I already paid for my food My whole order was $72.14. Cents And I asked him just to please give me a little sauce just to try it out. It was just bad service to me trying to charge me for a little bit of sauce once I already paid so much money. It kind of messed up my whole experience going to that restaurant. I haven't even ate the food. I literally just close my business that I open from 6:45 in the morning to 6 PM to get out and try somebody's food. Just had a bad taste in my mouth. Most elites I've found on Yelp (or maybe I'm just projecting what I like to think of myself as on them) tend to stay away from reviewing franchise restaurants. It isn't like nothing should be said about your average, everyday Big Mac (it's wonderful, by the way ... just wonderful), but it can be tedious finding differing things to say about each and every KFC you visit. I mean, if you've been to one Rimel's, you've kind of been to them all (as well as whichever Urgent Care might be nearby). Still, this is Wings and Things! And an Epic one at that! What that means is large strips of breast meat, breaded, fried, and drenched in whatever sauce floats your boat, with a tub of salty and creamy blue cheese dressing to send your cholesterol through the roof. That's a good Saturday afternoon, right there. Anyway, while searching for a house to buy, this shop has been our go-to place for lunch, making it popular with our son who has found, what I assume will be, a lifelong obsession with chicken wings. I've never had a disappointing meal here, they're very consistent, and the food is on point with the spice, flavors, and sauces. Plus, it's all topped off with those fat, butter and garlic soaked breadsticks which you can get by the bag-stuffed dozen. Seriously, I love these places and wish they would open one up in Encinitas. read more

Went today around 3ish didn't get out of there till almost 4. Why?! I had to approach the counter and ask where my order was which apparently was conveniently missed. Obvious when you see the teen you just asked checking to-go orders for yours then scramble to ask his coworkers who proceed to scramble around as well. Then they finally bring out just the wings and fries and the young man says sorry for the wait. Seriously?! He ran back into the back before I could ask where the rest of my order was. Fortunately the person who took my order came out the double doors and said "here's the rest of your order" which included the veggies/breadsticks and the sauces. Not only did we wait but they didn't even make the order correctly. I wasn't going to wait another almost hour for them to correct it but definitely NOT a place to go for wings or great service. The management needs to train them in customer service and to double check orders for accuracy. read more

I moved here form Charleston, SC. In Charleston (and the greater south east) we have Wild Wing Café. They have hands-down the BEST wings I've ever eaten. Because I'm sort of a wing-snob, and the very mixed reviews for Wings-N-Things, I've taken my time coming here to try them out. Today was the day. I was craving wings, and decided to call them and order take-out. I ordered the "Double Meal" with 6 sweet chili and 6 extra hot wings. They come with 4 fat garlic bread sticks, blue cheese or ranch dressing, and veggie sticks. I also ordered a side of french fries. The nice lady on the phone said my order would be 10-15 minutes, and I hopped in the car to head their way. My wings were out in 14 minutes from the time I hung up the phone (yes I'm anal enough to time them). Once home I opened up my wings that were DRIPPING with tons and tons of yummy sauce! I adore drippy wings, and these did not disappoint. The fries were crispy, hot and perfectly cooked. Even after the ride home, my wings were still crispy. The carrot and celery sticks were fresh and crunchy. I did think the blue cheese dressing was a little thicker than I like it, but that's just my personal taste. I'm a FAN! If you want to eat in, they have a very nice dining room, and an outdoor deck for the 300+ nice afternoons we have here in San Marcos. Thanks Wing-N-Things, you made my day! read more

This Wings-N-Things location is awesome! It's right across CSUSM and it wasn't packed on a Sunday afternoon which was nice. It had ample seating and we were quickly helped. I got the single meal with tenders with lemon pepper and garlic (no sauce) with all celery and ranch. This place is great and the food came out relatively quickly. I don't really have any complaints here! Great place for a quick meal. I'll definitely be back again. read more

I love Wings N Things but for some reason, I wasn't very happy with this location. So when I have wings I like to have a good tasting beer. The location in Temecula has some good beer like Belching Beer and Mother Earth. This location didn't have either one but that's okay because they had Lattitude 33 Blood Orange which I thought was just alright. So I order the little wings meal which comes with 6 wings and two bread sticks. Some of the wings seemed to be small compared to the other wings. It also took a little while for me to get my food even though it wasn't that busy. The employees were okay and did mention a happy hour but I went on a Sunday so the happy hour wasn't going on. So would I come back here? Uh maybe. read more

Wings were good, fries were good. Food is usually just how you expect it to be. The breadsticks are always a must- have, I ended up ordering extra since my boyfriend and I shared our meals. The food takes a little long to come out, but I assume (I hope) it's because they're making everything fresh. However I do think that the meals are a little overpriced, especially since they don't come with a drink. In terms of location, this wings n things is a lot nicer than the other ones in the area. Very clean, big space, nice patio, and a large bar area. Good for groups. Overall a good lunch experience. read more

Epic wings is pretty good. I've tried the wings with medium Buffalo sauce and wings without any sauce. They tend to give a lot of sauce, but it's better with the sauce. The bread is nice and fluffy, it'd be nice if they had a garlic bread option. This is a really good place to come to if you're just having an irresistible wings craving. read more

Horrible experience at this location. I placed an online order and somehow end up getting charged twice. Then when I went in they said the online isn't working and charged me another 25 bucks. So they ended up charging me 3 times in total. I still have not received my money back from them. When I went in to let the girl know I was charged she goes "Ya our online is having issues your not the only one" I asked her ok so how am I suppose to get my money back this is ridiculous that you want me to pay for a 3rd time and she told me well what do you want me to do about it. She then cut me off rolled her eyes and went to go get the shift lead. This location doesn't even had a manager or shift lean on the clock at all times apparently. Horrible customer service and the food was dry as can be. I was charged $75 for two small meals. I will never be back at this location again. read more
