    Garlic Parmesan strips! So delicious!
    Rick M.

In my opinion this location is the best of all Epic Wings around San Diego County. I have been to many...and this one just stands out....the food is always on point...they have a great crew here and obviously great management. The store is spacious and super clean....its comfortable. It's strange to me that all of their stores don't offer the "garlic Parmesan" flavor.....this is my absolute favorite!!

Its SuperBowl Sunday, I have 100 orders ahead of me. Doordash, online, over the phone, you name it. I ordered up front and still got my food in 10 minutes or less. Im impressed, you kids are doing a great job in there

Single Meal with 5 Boneless Wings with Hot Buffalo Sauce and Honey BBQ Mixed Together

This location seems a lot newer than the other ones I've been to. We came in on a rainy evening and there was barely any line. I ordered my usual Single Meal with 5 Boneless Wings with Hot Buffalo Sauce and Honey BBQ mixed together ($11.95). It does take a while for us to get our food but that just means that everything was freshly made. Also just be sure to grab some utensils when you get your drinks because they don't hand them to you when they drop off your order. I thought it was a bit weird since other locations have given us utensils at the same time as when they dropped off our plates, but maybe it's a covid thing with this location, I don't know. They give you enough sauce to smother both the chicken and the breadsticks in them, as well as the ranch sauce as well. The hot spiciness is my perfect amount of spice because it definitely gives that hotness while not yet overpowering anything else that you eat. The celery and carrot sticks are a nice refreshment from the heat though. If spiciness isn't your thing then they have a bunch of other sauces and dry rubs that you can choose from instead, so there's a flavor for everyone. Epic Wings has always been my favorite chicken wing spot to go to, and this location is definitely one of the better ones that I've been to. It's an easy place to find in the CSU San Marcos area and it's super close to the freeway which makes it perfect for pit stops, which is why I stopped by this one in the first place.

Ask the Community - Epic Wings

I have not been inside but when I drive by outside there is a poster on the window that says .50 cent. With a picture of 10 wings. Is there a 50 cent wing night or special?

This was the last week for that special (on Wednesdays). Won't be back until sometime this year

Does this place give student discount?

    Nope

Do they have wing night happy hour? If so, on which day? Thanks

This establishment has happy hour M-F 3-6 now.

Pros: This spot is a good place to hang out if you're looking for a casual bar with activities like billiards and darts. The vibe is fun without being overly packed, which made it easy to enjoy the space. They have darts (which are free, you just leave your ID), a pool table, and a music queue system where you can pick songs to play, which adds an interactive element to the night. I didn't try the food but the drinks were solid and did not disappoint. The overall energy of the place was welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. It's one of those spots where you can relax, hang out, and have a good time. Cons: Parking here is probably the biggest downside. The lot is really small and gets packed quickly, so I wouldn't recommend relying on it. We parked nearby after eating at Copper Kings Burgers and just walked over, which ended up being way easier. Verdict: If you're looking for a fun, chill bar in San Marcos with games, music, and good drinks, this is a great spot to check out. Just plan ahead for parking, but overall it's definitely worth it and I would come back again!

But I can't tell if most people were just in the bar area - we were able to get a booth! The place was nice and loud since every one was having a good time. Several parties of 3+ and I saw 1 party of 6. They were doing an explorer menu from Yucatan. Interesting thing to do during Black History Month - I won't lie. I was surprised to see it. But we ordered from that menu. We ordered the fried plantain that came with a sauce and cilantro, sausage and pepper soup, and the BBQ pork. I enjoyed everything except for the plantain. They were basically a huge disc that was slightly crunchy. I was not expecting that since if I want a crunchy plantain, I will eat actual plantain chips. The soup was fantastic! It was a bit spicy but not overwhelming and full of flavor. Wish I ordered a bowl instead of a cup. And last but not least, the BBQ pork was very good. Served on lettuce as well, so if you are doing keto you can omit eating the tortillas that came with the dish. It also had pickled red onions and a salsa. The salsa was mild and with everything in the taco, flavors were balanced. We also ordered 6 Cajun wings. But today, they didn't seem as flavorful, a pity really. A grilled cheese was ordered but with hamburger meat inside. That seemed good and it came with fries. Washed all of this down with a sour that was called Boozy Berry & my fiancé had a West Coast beer. Food was enjoyable, atmosphere was fun. We will be back again.

5/5 for Best Pizza and Brew -- easily one of the best spots for a slice in town…read more The pizza here is consistently great. I'm a big fan of their white pies and anything with a balsamic drizzle, and the margherita is always a safe win. The Caesar salad pairs perfectly, and the garlic knots... honestly addictive. Only downside there is you'll wish you had more--4 doesn't feel like enough for how fast they disappear. The staff is a younger, upbeat crew and always helpful when you interact with them--just a heads up, it can be tough to flag someone down when they're moving around. Best move is to go straight to the counter if you need something. The vibe is lively and modern--definitely more of a "happening" bar/restaurant energy. Plenty of seating, a great outdoor area, and a big firepit that makes it a solid hang spot. Only knock is occasional construction outside lately, but it hasn't stopped me from coming back. Value-wise, their combos are actually really solid and make for a great meal. This is one of those places I go to regularly, and it holds up every time. Best for: pretty much any occasion--just expect it to get loud during peak hours, and show up early if you want to avoid a line out the door. Compared to other artisan pizza spots around here, this one beats most. There are maybe one or two that edge it out slightly, but this is firmly in the top tier. Favorites: White pizza, margherita, balsamic drizzle pies, Caesar salad, and (of course) the garlic knots.

On a previous visit a couple of months ago, I requested medium and my burger was very well-done. It was still good, and I'm not a guy who sends his food back. Tonight I let the person at the register taking my order about last time, and to let the chef know that I would really like the burgers medium this time. Burgers arrived well done again. I mean, if that's store policy like In-N-Out is now, I get it, but let me know that. The truffle fries and regular fries that came with the other burger were fantastic as always. I wish I didn't have to go back to the register to pick up salt packets but that's not a big deal really. I let the young lady at the register know that the burgers were well done, again. . . She apologized and I just told her that it was ok. I'm not making anyone cook me a new burger. Once again, still good. Just not what I asked for. I also ordered a beer and the person at the register gave me the number placard and told me that she would bring my beer out. After seeing it set at the bar where the drinks come out for a few minutes, I just went and picked it up. The young man who brought our food seemed more interested in talking to the female employees than checking on customers, but I was 20 years old once too. We did get there kind of late and left a little after closing time. Everyone was busy checking their phones. . . We'll be back. Pizza is always great. Burgers are usually surprisingly excellent for a Pizza place too. I just wish everyone was a bit more on point.

I'm a huge Wicked fan and was excited to see this event advertised on Yelp. This restaurant was the only one in North County I can think of that acknowledged the movie when it was about to be in theaters. First of all, it was easy to get to based on my GPS but kind of challenging to find their parking lot. I ended up finding a 2-hour parking on N. City Drive which was in walking distance. All I was thinking of while walking up to Draft Republic is that this place is massive. Inside, the hostesses verbally instructed me where to go...came across bowling...arcade games...sports on tvs on my way. Behind the curtains, I entered the room in awe. Draft Republic really went ALL OUT!! The Wicked witchy vibe was sooo magical. I loved the beautifuuul Elphaba/Glinda decorations, cleverly creative themed menu option names, actual movie playing in the background, and the take-home momentos. Nick and staff were super wickedly friendly too. The Wicked Bites, Grimmerie Shots and Wickedest Cocktails were all FANTASTIC!!! I definitely tasted Draft Republic's wickedness. I appreciated everything about this experience....well well done. What a WICKED TIME! I hope there are more speakeasy pop-ups in the near future :-)

I want to start by saying that for whatever my opinion matters (and it should matter very little),…read morethis is just how I came away feeling about this place. Because Draft Republic is a rough place to quantify. The food is pretty good; if going off that alone, this place would easily be four stars in my eyes. But, it's not ... Draft Republic is trying to be a bit closer to like a mini Dave & Buster's (a place I have come pretty close to loathing). With an arcade, a bowling alley, a golfing simulator, a full bar, pretty extensive menu, good music, and a fantastic staff, they really have a lot going for them with a little something to make anyone happy. My own issue deals solely with the cost. Came here with my son, all we did was eat two entrees and an appetizer between us, and did nothing else. With drink and after tax and tip, the cost was well over $90. No games, no play, just burgers (plus fries and poke tacos) for two, costs as much as many Californian's net after a full day of work. When you're used to feeding the whole family for about half as much when going out (or a little more when eating sushi), that price was a bit rough. Still, the food is very good. My son and I each ate The Draft Republic Burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, very flavorful, and the toppings were high quality. The fries were crisp and salted well. And the side salad wasn't too bad. Both of us ate our entrees and gave it high marks. We had started with the Tres Poke Tacos, where the Tuna was very tasty, steeped in a flavorful marinade, and felt nice and fresh. Definitely a good starter. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. A lot of space, beautifully furnished, kind of industrial meets art deco with some new age greenery architecture thrown in. I like it a lot. But, as an aging Gen-X'er, who used to go to arcades back in the day, and hates what new arcades have become, the amenities are under appreciated by me. All of that pads the price tag a bit out of what I am willing to pay just for dinner. Which may not be fair to Draft Republic, but that's where it left me.
