Hit or miss, it's fast food, may have major turn over so hard to be consistent. They get order wrong more often the not. Kids only want plain cheese burgers, most often they put a gob of ketchup among other things. Legit a big goopy mess of ketchup, saturated. So gross. For anyone I'd be gross. Customer service over the phone you'll get yelled at, in person great, drive thru it's hit or miss, been smarter off too as well as been treated like their favorite customer. Depends who is working. They pull from other stores, that's when I've received the worse treatment and missing items etc. Will we continue getting food here, yes, it's all we got over here. But when it's a great worker, it's great service, when it's an unhappy worker, it's super poor service. Like I said, hit or miss. Ambiance, seems clean. Worker yelled at us saying we forgot a bag of food. We ordered 2 orders. We got 3 bags. Have a good night. So we left. Not only was what we got wrong but we were missing several things. Lady yelled at us because we wanted what was missing and these plain burgers to be plain and my burger to be lettuce tomato Mayo only... thankfully Manager made it right. Apologized saying they had workers from another store, that's who yelled. I said ppl have off days, I'm just hoping she was having an off day because that's no way to live all mad and raising your voice etc. Anyways, check your order before driving away. Restaurants regardless of size and menu options, can never be better than the people that work there. Today I visited this Jack in The Box. Needing help with a special offer, I asked one of the employees for help. What happened next told me all I needed but how the employee views their job. One of the people, Arriana, took the time to make certain I was able to take advantage of the offer. This included showing me what to do with the app on my phone for future visits! You know, this place has a pretty bad review but every time I've entered this particular location, I've always been met with above and beyond costumer service. Remember, people, this location has transients and a pissed off community coming back from work making the line either a 0 min drive through wait or a 45 min drive through wait. No in between. And they have open restrooms to EVERYONE which is unique and from a humanitarian standpoint, much appreciated because they could easily make their lives easier and close it to everyone but instead they choose the harder route for YOU! Went in the day after a padres game and they hit a home run but didn't make this connection until after I had purchased a medium milk shake. The sign clearly implies a soda beverage but Alex, the store supervisor/manager? Said just pay the equivalent and I will honor it. SAY LESS! already 450 in the hole and was already debating to get the large drink so jokes on you!/me! Bc everyone wins except you, jack! Anyway, food was as expected from being free and complicated. Hours says drive thru is 24/7. The drive thru window is boarded shut with cardboard. Man is inside at 2:30am on Monday Nov 30 sweeping the floor. I caught his eye and motioned asking if he was closed. He looked away as if pretending not to see me. I work nights in the area so I know this location is open at all hours of the night except for the occasional 30min window when the employee is on lunch. This is an average Jack in the box and usually do not have any issues with ordering and the food received tends to be accurate to the order. A couple times I had minor mistakes, but to be expected. This is a good location and easy to get in and out. Plenty of parking to use. read more

This is a newer JIB and is conveniently located about a half mile south of the 78/Sycamore exit in the Stater Bros shopping center. Did drive thru and the line was moving quickly and efficiently given the promo. I ate my tacos before my meeting and I was disappointed that the tacos were cold and the taco shells were stale. I'm a JIB and a JIB taco fan, but this was NOT good. Later, Andy H. texted me since he also stopped by this location to inform me that the JIB tacos were pre-made because of the promo. Dining area was clean. Place was overall were quiet. A big plus. Just wish they had plastic silverware like spoons available for their delicious milkshakes strawberry. The fries were delicious perfectly salted and pipping hot. So nice to have vs wimpy lukewarm ones. We had their buttery bacon burgers had a coupon 2 for $6.00. They were really good. The meat had flavor was not greasy at all and the bacon was good. I have to be honest a little more bacon would be nice and a little less mayo. This is the worst Jack in the Box I've ever been to entirely because of the staff. The don't listen, constantly get the orders wrong, don't ask if you want napkins, forks, the right salad dressing, etc. They are rude and clearly don't care about it or their customer's satisfaction. They just want to make you go away as fast as possible. If I never go here again I will be happier for it. It's really close to my work but there's another one over by the nearby Taco Bell (which has extremely professional staff). The service here is decent and has some spots to improve on, it's kinda understandable with a long drive thru line going on. The problems that I ran into from this place was that only half the napkin holders had napkins in them and they got my order (the burger and side order) mixed up with my friends.
