I ordered 2 bowls to go through the drive thru. The first was beef and broccoli. I went home and put it on a plate. Broccoli and rice. Where is the beef? I looked and looked and found about half the size of a soy sauce pack of meat a couple sliver's. Pathetic seriously $9 for rice and broccoli. Second bowl teriyaki chicken. I ordered half fried rice and half broccoli for the side. Asked confirmed during the drive thru order. I get home, no broccoli, no rice, it's noodles. At least there was chicken. You know what - Game over! You guys are done. You lost my business forever. See ya! Look at the pic on my broccoli n beef - yes the meat on the top of the plate is it nothing else hidden in here. Yes Pathetic read more

Every time I eat here it bothers my stomach, I'm not sure what changed used to eat here all the time

Another very mediocre meal at Venice Panda Express. Every single item on our plates was cold. The greens were disgustingly cold, limp and unappealing. No one wanted to help us. Finally insisted they replace our food and they gave us mostly cabbage ( see photo). In other locations we have never faced these kinds of problems. What's wrong with this place? Workers don't have enthusiasm, nor does it seem they want to be there! read more

Not a good experience this time . The lo mein is now called chow mein and it's all cabbage and very few noodles. They are also giving less proportions. Not happy at all ! read more

Awesome food, friendly associates!! Hard to fined quality food at a great price in Venice! Thanks Panda Express

This is the third time I've been to this is panda express and last time they were not particularly friendly. This time they were flat out rude. The short email behind the counter was very annoyed that she was helping us after she finished with an elderly man who is right before us. He had a hard time, picking up the items from the counter to put on his tray, and she was very hesitant to help him so we helped him. When it came time to service, she was just flat out, rude and unkind. She would not even give us decent portions, even after we made a comment. I would never ever go back to panda express again. Very disappointing. read more

If all you're looking for is cafeteria style fake Chinese food then you will find this place appealing. When you first see the menu you think to yourself, wow good prices. No. Each item they give you enough that might fill up a three year-old. By the time you are full, you are spending well over what you would at a normal takeout Chinese Restaurant. Buyer beware read more

This fast food location has changed since last here( 3 months ago) the serving staff was rude. Did not greet upon arrival, worked very slow and had us all wait without saying a word. Asked for a sample, the guy with the glasses said no samples were offered in a rude attitude. It's noticeable this behavior feeds off on the other gal working the serving station. Not speaking for guys in the back. If you don't want to work there just quit or learn how to lead by a good example especially if when you are working customer service. I hope this review finds the manager well. read more

Worst employees EVER. I craving Panda today even though they made it more expensive and have shrunk the container to hold less. I stood waiting at the counter for my order. There were 7 employees working in there and not a single one could be bothered to wait on me for at least 5 minutes. When they did step up to take my order, the chow mein was at rock bottom of the barrel, and the crispy beef was gone. I'm not eating the last in the bowl. I simply turned around and walked out, not a single employee cared that business was walking out the door. This Franchisee should be ashamed, and throw in the towel you suck at running a restaurant. read more

I come here all the time and I rarely ever experience something negative! The few times were simple mistakes that were easily corrected! The service of the drive through has never been shy of helpful and fast paced! I come at least once a week for the food as it's become a staple of mine, I am never disappointed and satisfied equally every time! The couple of times I have gone inside it has been a quiet and well maintained restaurant, the bathrooms are especially nice too! Thank you employees! read more

I won't go back to this establishment. Geraldine and a team of two others were in here when I arrived, speaking a foreign language I could not understand. I know they were open and ready for business, it was 10:48 AM stamped on my receipt. The staff were chatting with each other, in their language, for about 4 minutes before acknowledging I was even in the store. I had not been in a Panda for about 3 years, so I was looking over their menu anyway, before beginning my selection. Another guest then entered the store, she had called her order in, for pick up - it was not ready and the staff could not find any order in their computer. I was now prepared to place my order, when a third guest arrived (and spoke to them in their native language) and Geraldine immediately helped him with his order, skipping in front of me. I was a little annoyed, but said nothing, I waited until he was served, and then stepped up closer to the counter, she still ignored me, so I tapped on the glass case to let her know I was there and ready. I ordered Orange Chicken, Black Pepper Steak with Fried Rice, plus 2 Vegetable Spring Rolls, with tax it was $13 even. She rang it up, asked if I wanted to make some sort of a donation to a non-profit they were helping, I politely said, no. I paid in cash, got my $7 in change and departed. The food was good, but, I would not return to this establishment, I like English spoken when I am in a restaurant, in America, and I certainly prefer awesome customer service. read more

For fast food it's quite good, the employees are presentable, and I think the counter could be cleaner for sure along with the glass gaurd but the tables were cleaner then most places for sure! Suggest the fried rice and sweetfire chicken breast! read more

Ate at Panda Express, Venice FL today, Jan. 20th at 11:30. Service was fine. However; I ordered the Orange Chicken expecting freshly made chicken in their delicious orange sauce. Wrong. I was served Orange Chicken that was at least a day old, reheated, orange chicken. It was dry and tasteless. I have eaten at various Panda Express restaurants and have always ordered the same thing and know how good that item is. Not this time. Don't think I will be back. read more

I happened to find this place one night while I was looking for restaurants who are delivery-friendly. Have to say, the results were less than expected. I was shocked at how little options they have, most of the menu consisted of chicken only! I ordered noodles, honey chicken (with a side of rice) , and spring rolls. The food was... average, perhaps even good. While ordering I asked for no vegetables in my noodles, but still got them. I do however, have to appreciate the safety precautions Panda Express is taking during Covid-19. I was surprised to hear on the phone that they wouldn't allow anyone in without a mask, to ensure the safety of their customers. Overall, my experience was a clean and tasty one! read more

Been here twice in one week. The first time we landed late and came around 9pm, they close at 10pm. The little Asian boss lady that runs the register rushed us out, I mean she literally wanted to pick the food for us. I'm guessing because there was little choices left and they didn't want to make more since they were closing in an hour. So we thought we'd give it another try and came earlier the second time. When we walked in we weren't greeted by the staff because they were too busy making orders for the drive through. After several minutes I had to ask if they were going to serve us. The worker looked up at me and said with an attitude "what would you like" at which that point all the bowls were empty so we had to wait while they brought out more. They gave us the rice but had to wait for the rest. Meanwhile the little Asian boss lady took our half empty containers and started to ring us up. This woman is obsessed with getting people out the door. I actually payed and started to leave forgetting to get the rest of my food because she rushes people out. Aside from that the two stars is for the food, it's okay but not worth the hassle. read more

Yes, Panda Express is a fast food restaurant. Their food is not the usual fare. The Oriental menu offers quite a variety of flavors and traditions. We tried this location for dinner while visiting and it was ok. Nothing stood out. But the teriyaki chicken tasted burnt and the almonds in the almond chicken tasted weird. But it was ok. The employees did seem like cleaning was more important than helping customers. read more

Things seem to have improved since my last review. The employees are greeting the customers and seem friendlier. I enjoy Chinese food. So when my wife brought me to this place I was a skeptic. However, I was astonished that the food was really exceptional. I had the honey chicken and the pepper chicken that were tremendous as well as the Rangoon. I'm definitely coming back. Oh yes, the price was reasonable at $21 dollar total for us both. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to an authentic Chinese restaurant instead. This is the lowest level of Chinese food I have ever tasted. The "Taco Bell" of chinese cuisine. The fried rice sucked, all the food was cold. They said they don't have hot and sour soup. What??? There were 10 packets of crappy sweet and sour sauce, ONE packet of soy sauce and ZERO hot mustard. Paid a lot of money for low quality food. Disappointed and never coming back read more

I ordered online. I needed quick and efficient. My mom is losing her battle with metastatic cancer and mentions that beef and broccoli and an egg roll sounds tasty. I believe anybody who has watched a love one go thru this can relate. You would do anything to get them to eat. Their site specifies, go right to the online pick up. Don't get in line.and wait. I ordered for 3:30. You can stand in that line until you die. You finally give up and get in line. At 3:40 my order had not been started. They took it out of all the premade stuff up front. The beef with broccoli had 1, I repeat ONE, piece of beef. I gave 2 stars only because the broccoli wasn't mushy and the egg roll was tasty. Not pleased at all read more

I do not like posting bad reviews because I know every place can have an off day. However, this is the 4th time dealing with a wrong order at panda express in Venice. I had not been to Panda Express for about 4 months due to above mentioned order screw ups. Thought I would try today. I ordered 2 egg rolls and 2 orders of cream cheese Rangoon. Got home and I had 2 egg rolls and 4 spring rolls. I called the store, told them about error. The lady on phone asked me what my receipt showed? She told me to bring receipt back and they would give me correct food. I had not looked at receipt but got it from my vehicle and it did show 2 orders of spring rolls. I went back anyway thinking they would still honor the customer. Ohhhh noooo! I gave same girl my receipt and explained their must have been a misunderstanding with language barrier but I did not order spring rolls. She began to argue with me and said that I did....blah blah....u know the rest. I told her I didn't care about getting the Rangoon any longer but I had thought they would make it right. Since she wanted to argue, I drove away. I think that will be my last visit to the Panda Express. read more

Panda Express store #1160 (by the way has over 2,300 stores, 47k+ employees, does over $3Billion a year in revenue, and is the largest Asian dining concept in the US) made me laugh today. Jie F. was the employee on the Drive Thur receipt. Note: We just went through a horrible hurricane here in Venice FL, they always ask you to round up, and yes they did have a sign outside the store that stated "Card" or "Exact Change". My total was $11.24 and I handed Jie F. $11.25. She had the audacity to say "I'm going to keep the penny". I understand a penny is a penny, but come on. I quickly said sure, then scratched my head, and kindly said "I'll be taking that penny please", which she looked at me with a blank stare. Unbelievable what the world has come to, people not using their brain, and using common sense in situations. What really got me was that she said "I'm going to keep it".... Guess what, I have the penny and it's worth much more than that to me and will cost store #1160 my business, which is much more than a penny. A penny, give me a break. read more

come here a lot, very often out of 3+ menu items, chicken is burnt a lot, and what made me leave this review is the fact that we came 20 minutes before closing and they already had all the chairs up and only 5 menu items were left. we got what we could which were scraps and the employees were leaving already and giving us dirty looks. i used to work in fast food, classic case of management getting too lazy and they're going to start losing a lot of customers if something doesn't change. side note we specifically planned to come 20 minutes before closing which is reasonable, not 5 min before. read more

We love Panda Express in Venice, FL, it's a weekly regular eating place for us. I was not a fan of Chinese or Tai food, but after my husband talked me into trying this, now I'm the one that suggests we go there for lunch. Food is over the top delicious!! The staff are friendly, offering a bite if you want to taste before ordering. Restaurant is clean, they keep the tables cleaned off which is important to us. The food pans are fresh, they have so much business that they have to keep refilling them so we're assured our food is hot and fresh. Don't miss out on this special place! read more

Bad tasting food. Rice and noodles tasted old. Staff was very unfriendly, rude, and loud. Never eating here again.

They always get our order perfect. Not one time have we ever had an issue. They're kind and hospitable. We come here very often.

Great place to eat. Panda Express is THE best. Would totally recommend. It's not authentic but it Tastes good.

After not having been to this Panda Express in several months, we looked forward to our visit. Unfortunately, quality of service and food have both gone downhill. The noodles were hard and undercooked and tasted strongly of cabbage, so we threw those away. The displays were out of some entrees, so staff pushed us to order items we did not prefer. (What do they tell people who order at the drive thru?) Despite there being no line we were rushed by staff to order quickly. We asked questions about the missing entrees but got no answers, as if the staff didn't speak English. (Again, how do they handle the drive thru?) The entrees we did get were not cooked correctly, with mushy shrimp that was supposed to be crispy and very spicy chicken dishes that were supposed to be mild. Portion sizes were small, leaving us hungry after paying quite a bit for our meals. Not a good value. To top it off, the entire restaurant smelled bad. Because of all of these disappointments it is highly unlikely we will return to this particular Panda Express. read more
