I order with no mayo. I reiterate, please ensure no mayo because I am allergic. When they hand me the food I again ask there is no mayo on one of these right and they say yes. I checked in the drive-through window and sure enough there is mayo. I asked them to please remake me one without mayonnaise because I am very allergic. I ask not to just wipe the mayonnaise off because I am allergic. They then bring me out a new sandwich and I again ask is this a brand new sandwich and not just wiped off mayonnaise because I am extremely allergic. They again verified this is a brand new sandwich. Sure enough pickles, lettuce, and tomato have mayonnaise on it. Then sure as heck looks like they've been reused from the previous sandwich with mayo. I tried calling to get my money back because I had to leave and they did not answer twice. I recommend no one goes here. The picture of the final sandwich I still can't eat is here. Had to add an edit the manager Kelly was fantastic about this and did answer and confronted staff and was good to make it right if I come back. Still won't eat here again too risky. read more

Wendy's - Mayo - Burgers Near Me - Venice, Florida

If I could put 0 stars I would. Staff in drive thru are usually disinterested. Food takes twice as long as anywhere else. Save yourselves the trouble read more

They only offer kiosk for ordering, problem is their kiosk doesn't allow for the ability to customize your order. Like a plain burger for the kids. Staffs standing around yelling at each other. Sad! read more

Had to leave and go elsewhere. When I went to the register there were employees within feet of me - they wouldn't look at me. I finally called one over to ask if anyone could take my order. In very broken English I was told "kiosk" and was pointed to a machine on a wall. What is happening to this country? I pay cash, I don't use cards or CBDC, and I want to interact with the people preparing my food. I won't use those machines. And what is the point of having a cash register if there's no one there to use it? I guess this place is off my list. read more

I stopped to grab a fast food order. I got a spicy chicken and a frosty. Can't go wrong with a quick, easy, tasty order like that. It was fast and efficient. Prices were reasonable. I would go back to this location. Valerie was my attendant. I do love the Frosty's! I visited on June 18, 2022. read more

Seems like this place consistently has cold burgers and fries :( Every thing is so expensive now that it's not even worth your time or money to get a gross burger read more

I have been ordering orange soda from places for about 45 years and this is the first time I have gotten into an argument about orange soda. Perhaps the girl taking my order is a bit slow but OMG really. Then when picking up at the food window I ask for ketchup and get napkins, no one said hello or any pleasantries.. worst Wendy's on the planet read more

Wendy's - the front of the restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Venice, Florida

Just keep driving, don't stop here. Saw the red flags of : terrible location, almost zero customers. Afternoon mid-week approx 3:30 pm. Should have listened to my intuition which said "keep driving" but I ordered fries @ drive through. Order was immediately ready BECAUSE IT WAS COLD. ugh. Didn't eat it, threw it away. Who knows how old these cold fries were! Does the employee have no conscious? They knew it was cold garbage read more

Showed up to order a frosty and fries and was turned away because it was 30 minutes before closing. Was turned away and the worked who was there was just smoking outside. Super disappointed. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. Second time coming here, last time took almost 40 minutes, this time, even longer. Even did the mobile app order, still make you wait in drive through line and it is not moving!!! this is ridiculous. By the time you get to window, food is cold. I'm still in line as I write this. Will not come to this location again. Frustrating!!! They need a better system cause this, is definitely not working! read more

If you love cold bad food...this is your place! This has nothing to do with COVID. I have lived in Venice for 20 years and I rarely post a review but yesterday was the last straw. First, regardless of how short or long the line is, be prepared to have crap food and always not even barely warm fries....ALWAYS COLD. Yet, I love Wendy's so occasionally I will take the chance. I will tell myself, "this time, it will be different"so I go yesterday and I wasn't let down. Same old bad cold crap food. So goodbye to this Wendy's...you've had my last dime. I will drive to North Port before I go there regardless of the inconvenience. read more

Poor service all around. Tried a couple of times but each time it gets worse. So bad that corporate ignores any feedback or doesn't try to make it right. Save your money and your time. read more

Stopped coming to this Wendys for about a year because of long lines, poor food and worst of all, an ill tempered guy working the drive thru who was as nasty as can be. I was told that the place had gotten better so I gave it another chance and was happy to find it has improved significantly. The people now working at this Wendy's are incredibly nice, professional and efficient. The drive thru moves along at a decent pace now and they get the orders right. The food is better than it was for sure, though it's still fast food of course. I don't know how Wendy's manages to serve hamburgers with ketchup or mayo or whatever you like but still has them come out sort of dry. That's my one big complaint about their burgers. Even when cooked properly and covered in ketchup, they still have this weird dry sort of quality. Maybe it's the bun? I took away a star for two reasons. First, their hours are weird. Closed b7 far as I can see. I know Venice is a sleepy place, but other fast food places nearby are pretty busy at that time. Second, if the drive thru line is long, you can get stuck behind cars blocking the exit while they wait in the drive thru line. If that happens, you can't get out until they move forward. Not good. read more

Time to close this location. I've gone here the last 5 times and have been turned away service. This is the worst Wendy's probably in the country if I'm being honest. The staff are rude. I'm tired of this crap. Need to fire everyone and restart. Frfr read more

I was very disappointed to find that the restaurant itself was not open for inside dining, so I just chose a SOUTHWEST AVOCADO SALAD to go. It was just OK, definitely nothing to brag about. When I paid with a gift card they refused to give me the balance because....listen to this.......THEY ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO DO THAT????? What????? If that isn't the stupidest thing I ever heard. It may be quite awhile before I venture into Wendy's again read more

If you don't mind waiting foreign pickup line only to get home and find what you ordered is not in the bag this is the place for you! Won't be back until they open dining! Avoid read more

This does not deserve a star. Words can't explain the lack of leadership or the lack of interest that this leadership team holds at this locatuon after 6 pm, or when ever their latest shift manager comes in. The staff is rude, and uncaring. They are also either under educated in what the menu has to offer, or they have their own "nigh menu" that is not reflected at the drive through. The food is cold, undercooked, or half put together. The staff does not care! I have personally worked in retail and food prior to this comment and have been a cart pusher and a burger flipper up to general manager. This problem lies in the management team foremost, and the location itself needs a shake up. Fix the crap people. Your service is shitty. read more

This was my first experience at this drive thru. John was taking orders on drive and i cannot believe how rude this man was to my husband and i. we only wanted to order two meals and we couldn't get one word out before he continued to interrupt our order. assuming what we wanted and then sighing when we would order something different. i receive my food and it's the wrong order. This company needs to train their employees in a better manner and help them realize that their job is to serve customers kindly and keep standards where they should be. this is not the only location that treats customers this way. either do your job the way it should be done or be replaced by someone who can do it better. read more

On 8/13 I came about 7:15am about 4 cars waiting I waited for 5-6mins no one seams to be staff in the opening morning hours for today only?! Not sure what was going on. No apologies since I didn't seen anyone. I guess it was just a rough morning understaff? read more

Today the line was wrapped around the store. Not that I was going through the drive thru - I HAD TO because the dining room was closed! I had an APP order that required me to come in the store. After pulling into the drive thru and waiting 5 minutes in this long line with no movement, I left for McDonalds. There I got right in paid and left. Passing Wendy's, I still would be in line. This is ridiculous. I removed my food items from the app - they better not charge me. Will not come to this location again. Frustrating!!! They need a better system cause this, is definitely not working! I work all week and choose Wendy's for my treat of the week and I have to wait in line 20+ minutes? What did they have only 2 people show up for work? read more

Ordered a kids 4 piece nugget and I got home to see there were no nuggets in the bag. I called and the manager didn't seem to care and said "when you come back just say I said you can have a free whatever". No concern at all. Also the woman who handed me my food through the drive thru was eating a hand full of apples while sticking her hand into my bag to open my burger. Disgusting. read more

Horrible service, took absolutely forever to get our food and when we did the order wasn't even right. None of the workers are wearing masks either despite the signage posted on the windows stating a mandatory mask rule for customers in there establishment. read more

I had an exasperating experience today at Wendy's at 4331 S Tamiami Trail, in Venice. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran and have noticed for quite some time that the US Flag at their store has becoming an embarrassment due to the very poor condition of the flag. It is very faded and the stripes are all tattered and ripped. I tried to go into the store today to ask then to either replace the flag or to take it down and not display it due to the horrible condition it is in. The door was locked in the middle of the afternoon, so I drove to the drive up which was empty. I asked to speak to the manager and the woman who came to the window shouted to a young woman that was standing in the background. She shouted to her "what does he want"? The older woman told her she didn't know so the manager came to the window chewing food with food all over her mouth. (Not very professional) I told her the flag was in deplorable condition and I would like the name and phone number for the district manager. She told me that she cannot give out that information. I asked her for her name and she told me her name was Rebecca. I asked why she couldn't give it out and she told me that I just couldn't have it. She didn't see a problem with the flag. I asked her if she would write her name down so that when I found the phone number, I could give them her name correctly. She told me that she was not comfortable doing that. I asked her for the store number, which is #5522. I will eventually find the phone number and let my frustration with the lack of help that the store manager, Rebecca, gave me. It makes me wonder that if the lack of attention to the flag of our country also carries over to the cleanliness of their restaurant and the training of their employees. We have ate at this restaurant many times and the service and quality of the food is always more or less a craps shoot. Sometimes very good, other times, well not very good at all. Maybe this means more to me that most, but I took an oath to defend and protect the flag of this great nation and that also means to me, that the flag should be given the honor and respect of not being flown in a dilapidated condition. read more

31 minutes to get food inside. The manager cleared the order to make their times look better and tried to give our burger to someone else. After all of that they got the order wrong. WE LOVE THIS WENDYS! The food is great! The large pecan, Apple, chicken salad is FANTASTIC! The dollar chicken sandwiches are far better than four other fast food places! And they aren't switching to kiosks right away! read more

Worst customer service ever. Cashier had a rude attitude was waiting for my food and i never heard my name being called and she yells across the store mam you're food is ready in the most rudest tone i've ever heard. I live close by this store and have never had an issue until today. read more

The worst service I have ever had at a fast food establishment. They take care of people at the drive up window before walk-ins. When I arrived there were only 2 people ahead of me. After waiting 15 minutes with no hope to be waited on i left. The employee behind the counter, someone named Michelle, was taking her sweet time, ignoring customers, and touching money before touching food. I actually saw her take money from a customer, then walk over to the food area, open a burger wrapper and lift up the bun and hamburger with her fingers to see what was on it. That's 15 minutes of my lfe I will never get back. Wendy's is out for me. read more

This location ties with North Port, Fl to having the worst experience drive thru. I visit numerous Wendys locations in the area and these two ALWAYS get the orders wrong. Beware at this location, i ordered the single sandwich only and was charged the combo price with no fries and no beverage, another visit i ordered the full taco salad, did not receive chili topping, napkins or a fork, the green salad had brown edges and the tomatoes were soft and wrinkled. read more
