The filled the bowl 3/4 with rice and I asked them if they could remove some because it's a lot of carbs. Then they proceeded to only give this amount of the entree so we had to go back and order a small size which came out to $8 which is crazy. The manager had some sort of attitude after I asked if she could remove some rice.

Quick pickup before going back to hotel late night in Portland. We reached 10 mins before their closing time and they were out of most of the sides and entrees. Only white rice and noodles were left in entree and 3 items in sides, so didn't had much options. 1 extra star for the sweet servers who honored our last minute changes and greeted us properly. Restaurant is on of the biggest Panda Express which i have seen and it was clean too. Seems to be well maintained.

My girl went in to get a plate..... This is what we got. Photo speaks for itself. Suppose to be 2 entrées

Wanted something fast and quick, it was a great choice coming here for brunch. Not sure why there have been low reviews but I personally loved the how my orange chicken and chow mein was cooked. Orange chicken was cooked perfectly with the right amount of tang from the sauce. The chow mein was al dente which I prefer. Just look at the perfect plating, very admirable. The service was fast and staff was polite. Covid guidelines are up to date.

Wednesday night in our household is "eat out" for the week. Tonight, we went to Panda Express for take out. We ordered a Panda Bowl with chow mein and grilled teriyaki, Panda Bowl with chow mein and crispy almond chicken and a Plate with fried rice and double Kung Pao Chicken. When we got home, the Bowl with crispy almond chicken had 6 pieces of chicken. In comparison to the other two orders, it looked like it was shorted on the entree. Seriously, 6 small pieces of chicken-keep in mind the chicken is in the middle of a puffed rice coating. The other bowl was so packed that you couldn't see the chow mein! Due to the inconsistent serving size that wasn't discovered until we got home and listening to the jokes associated with the sparse entree serving, I had to give 2 stars overall.

Whoever thought that 5 teenagers can run Panda restaurant efficiently needs to rethink the strategy! 5 teenagers were struggling to keep the flow of 3 customers moving through the store. In other words, if you like Chinese food at a slow pace, do not look any further!

Came in and was told I'd have to wait 5min for more noodles to be made- no big deal. There was a line behind me as it was kind of close to closing but then every other person cleared out and an employee came over to me and stated they forgot about my order and asked again what it was. Waited over 20min for them to finish the line and make more noodles because I thought they were caught up- not forgetting about a customer who was waiting. What a joke.

I learned last night you get alot more when you order to go..

MEH. That's definitely how I feel about this location. Although, we can all admit, Panda Express isn't a 5 star gourmet restaurant but it is good for an after work - quick dinner. Last night I got something different from the photo attached. ( forgive me for the delay ) I got the beijing chicken, half noodles/half fried rice and the mushroom chicken. My chow mein tasted terrible.. Tasted like the smell of garbage. And I know it's because of the TYPE of veggies cooked with it, but I had never been more disappointed. :/ I would suggest not going past 6 pm.

Just pick the food that ISN'T your generic panda express order and you'll be in heaven!! The service is always good except for recently. Seems they're training new hires and so things are a little slower than usual but that's ok! I hope our amazing usual host, Lee can catch a break! She's been the best server every time I go there. Just friendly and remembers your names! Ambiance can be anywhere from perfectly quiet to crying baby. It's a family kinda place and sometimes there's kids! Today was a bit strange as someone was in a blanket and sat at a table on their phone with headphones on laughing out loud. Looked like someone who worked there son? Hope that situation is all good! They seemed on the spectrum so I understand if a mother or father had to bring them to work. Love this place! 10/10 food, very friendly servers and seriously, I have been to so many Asian eateries and this place is THE ONE you have to try!

A lot of restaurants claim that they serve Szechuan food, but it's just regular Chinese food... This spot has both, and the Szechuan part is pretty good! We accidentally ordered 2 fried dishes by mistake, but they were both pretty delicious! We got the dried fish filet and spicy chicken/popcorn chicken. The fish was so crispy and savory... I didn't try the regular menu, but I will definitely come back to try more of their Szechuan menu soon (there were two separate menus when we came in). The staff was friendly, and the setting was chill! The free tea is always a plus :) If you love mala/szechuan flavours, try it out!

Teenager said the Lo Mein was "huge" (indeed) and we all agreed it was flavorful. The middle school kid said his sweet sour shrimp (ordered with sauce on the side) was "the best I've ever had", and even liked the sauce enough to dip a few which is a whole lot for a kid who isn't a fan of sauces in general. I ordered the sesame beef and while I really liked the sweetness level and the flavor, some of the pieces were hard to chew (not quite beef jerky but still much chewier than I would like). We ended up getting 2 pieces of raspberry cheesecake which the teen and kid swore was some of the best cheesecake they've ever had (sensing a theme starting here). I would highly recommend Golden City and will absolutely be back again next time we are in the mood for delish Chinese fare!

Pan + Grill K…read moreFusion serves the best black bean noodles I've had around here - rich, savory, and full of that unmistakable wok hei flavor. The pork belly is high quality and they don't skimp on the veggies. Their tangsuyuk is another standout, perfectly crispy even when coated in sauce, which is no easy feat (if you know, you know). The wasabi shrimp has a unique, addictive flavor with just the right amount of crunch. And the kimchi burger? Thoughtfully crafted with a soft brioche bun, a juicy, flavorful patty, and kimchi that really pops. Beyond the food, the hospitality makes the experience even better. Sam and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They are happy to offer recommendations, check in throughout your meal, and always greet you with a smile. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time, especially to take advantage of their lunch specials. I didn't give it a 5 star because I was a bit disappointed with how little protein they add to their ganjjajang. First time I ordered the pork and then I ordered the seafood on another visit. The taste was amazing and authentic but I was disappointed with the pork because they give you like 6 pieces of pork and there is tiny fried pieces as well but the size of a scab lol. I love the big pieces of veggies in it but it's sad they can't do the same with the protein. Now with the seafood version it was the exact same thing very little protein but mountain of veggies except this time the zucchini was so tiny while they gave me giant blocks of onions again I don't mind that but it's all disproportionate. Nothing to what I have had at different Korean spots in Arizona. Everything else is amazing like their fried rice or bulgogi burgers. Their tteokboki is alright it's a niche type of dish so it won't be for everyone. It was more sweet than I like but that's just a me thing. Service was great and the ambiance was chill, quiet and cozy. We will still be returning just maybe will stop ordering the jajamyeon unfortunately.
