Dean, a very helpful team member made the free dodger win memorable. I was having a problem using the app but he stepped in and showed me just how to do it. Very kind. And the food is delicious!

I know this guy doesn't care but......... I purchased my food using a card & after eating I realized I needed some cash change. -- 5 bill to 1 bills -- I walked up to the counter and asked this guy for change and he said "you have to purchase something". I pulled out my receipt and told him I just bought from you guys. He said "yeah I can't open the register" So this guy thinks people are ignorant and that everyone will believe that registers can't be opened? I told him I'm too old to believe that you can't open the register. Then he said "yeah we can't do it" Just say you don't want to exchange my money, so many stupid excuses.

    Large size of chow mein

Today, l went to The Oaks Mall food court and ordered food there. I didn't look when the lady put food into the box, but when I got home, the large size of chow mein was only less than 3/4 filled. This is ridiculous. I don't know how the workers at this location were trained. The lady served me had no smile on her face at all and when I gave her the gift card (because it didn't work after I swiped twice), I told them "last time when I used it, they had to put the number in manually and I don't know why?" And what I got was the mad eyes staring at me from the serving lady. How can you expect customers will come back in the future if you have this kind of service???

Came to Panda for dinner and ordered a plate. Portion-wise I was pretty happy w the Teriyaki Chicken. Tender, juicy, & yummy! The broccoli beef was also good, didn't get enough beef but I guess the chicken made up for it. However, the chow mein was not so good today. It lacked flavor drastically and tasted like I was eating nothing, no flavor at all despite how it looked. I was disappointed seeing how greasy it looked knowing the grease wasn't worth the taste. It was just plain oily and no flavor. Please work on quality control of your food Panda.

I love the cook at this panda . Always fast, good fresh food . taste good. Just door dash sometimes is a miss but in person it's always great here Best Panda

This particular location is inside the food court at the Oaks Mall. Its an ok place to get an inexpensive meal while your shopping there. I was there around noon on a weekday. Because it was prime lunch time, you would have expected all of the entree selections to be out in plentiful supply. At least half of them just had a tiny bit left, which is not very appetizing to look at and doesn't really tempt you to want to order from that. What I found most annoying was that, even though I was dining in, they don't offer any trays to carry your food to your table as is typically done at other Panda Express locations. I didn't really appreciate having to juggle my food items in my arms while searching for a table to eat at.

There are many other options on their menu, feel free to explore. My kids are picky eaters but they absolutely love the Chinese food from here. I of course enjoy the authentic sechuan flavor being Chinese myself. The restaurant is kept tidy and clean, if you want a dine in experience I recommend you to make a booking, walk-in is very welcome but keep note that sometimes it gets really crowded. They have frozen handmade dumplings for sale too if that's something you want to look into.

Was surprised to find such an authentic spot for Chinese in Oak Park!…read more I came by for a Mother's Day lunch with my family. When we arrived around 1 pm, the restaurant was maybe half full. But clearly it was popular as people were coming in constantly the entire time we were eating. Even though the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, most of the dishes on the menu were more like Sichuan dishes i.e. spicy. All of the food was super solid and portions were ginormous. My recommendation is to order 1 dish per person if you want leftovers, or order one less dish than the # of people if you want to finish most of the food. I don't handle spice very well, so we ordered a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes. We shared the following: #1 Yunan rice noodles ($16.99) #32 scallion pancake ($8.99) #104 Chong qing fried chicken ($16.99) #107 braised pork belly with buns ($19.99) #109 boiled two items - fish and duck blood ($21.99) Given that the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, we felt like we had to order one of the most popular dishes from that region, the Yunan rice noodles i.e. crossing the bridge noodles. I really enjoyed the silky smooth mixian noodles as well as the flavorful broth. The fried chicken was too spicy for me; I ate one piece and my whole mouth was on fire. Everyone else said it was quite spicy as well, so eat this in moderation unless you can really handle your spice. The 3 pepper signs next to this dish on the menu are no joke! The braised pork belly was delicious, but portions were on the smaller side for this one. Still, I enjoyed making a little bun sandwich with the pork belly and pickled veggies. The boiled fish and duck blood was also super solid. It was just a little spicy, so I was able to manage a couple pieces with the help of rice on the side. Portions were very generous for this dish. We all ate lots of fish and duck blood and still had a ton left to take home. They also have some precooked 涼菜, i.e. cold dishes, on the side you can buy for dine-in or to go. We got 3 of the meats - pork tongue, pork head, and and beef tripe, to go. Paid $16.99 for a huge box of these meats. We thought this was a steal too. Can't wait to try some at home!

I like the house special braised pork belly which is a caramelized and salty meat in a pot. Delicious with copious amounts of white rice. Some of my favorite items to get at this place are: -Stir fried intestines - these are cooked with spices and numbing pepper. The intestines taste like they were deep fried and have a crunch to them. -Mushroom medley - 3 different types of mushrooms in a brown sauce and some type of white meat. -Beef rolls - sliced beef inside a flaky savory pancake with hoisin sauce and cilantro This is a great spot for Hunan-style dishes that have the complex smoky, spicy, and numbing spice flavors. I'd go for those dishes over more traditional fried rice, beef and broccoli type Chinese food.

The shop has a few small tables situated, but found the floors dirty in multiple places and the overall smell was just not pleasant for such a small place. The table service was handled by an older woman, who may have been the manager. She was rude and curt towards us. When we were finished with our small bowl of the Asian style crunchy noodles and smaller bowl of duck sauce, we asked for more, and she informed us that we would have to buy a bag of noodles for $7 dollars. This is after we were seated and ordered our dinner. The orange chicken was over-fried and lacked taste, while my sweet and pungent shrimp was super soggy, almost relying on the sauce to act as the seasoning. Our pot stickers were ok .. but not great. They also had little to no flavour / seasoning .. and were dried out .. possibly over cooked, as well. I'm unsure if new management acquired this business, but it was not this way a few months ago. Seems like this place is beginning to penny pinch on the small things to save/make a few extra bucks. I so hope this place improves or turns around as I will check in now and again for good news! No biggie - patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you had in mind. I had to write a review because I knew one particular person was going to tarnish them because they didn't have that patience. As I suspected, he did. See the other review entry for today. It's definitely him. Let me share with you the chain of events I witnessed that allowed me to connect the dots so I can likely assume was him. With us other patrons waiting so patiently, because again, the manager was sharing with us how they were looking and was super apologetic. One can only tell you 10-15 mins but hey I knew I wasn't the only one there. Except for this guy who believed he was the only patron and should have been waited on hand and foot. He says 45 mins. I call BS. I was there. At the end of it all, he and his party walked out because 10-15 mins in a restaurant with patrons eating in and taking out was "too long." Thank goodness. Plus his attitude to some of the patrons was gross. The cherry on top was he was honking his horn to Mandarin Bistro for some reason as he was driving away. Um ok? In conclusion to that fool, YOU want private dining, stay your ass at home.
