BURNT chili peppers. There's more but they were burnt to mush and hard to grab. Made the kung pao taste like it was mixed with burnt ash.

They don't really care but I'm going to leave a review here anyways since their 'contact us' form is conveniently not working right now. I've been going to this location on and off for quite a few years now and they used to be SO good. However lately here is my experience on recent orders: 1) They BURN the chilis used in the hot dishes (like Kung Pao and the new hot Orange Chicken). Like literally BURNED almost to mush. They are supposed to be roasted, not completely burned black. These burnt chilis cause the entire dish to taste like burnt ash. 2) The chow mien was dry and thin and the rice was dry and cold 3) Half the chicken in the Kung Pao contained big disgusting pieces of fat and gristle (or something else hard to chew) ICK!! 4) The portions are about 25% smaller than they used to be, including the little single entree little boxes. Google it, it's true! I remember the days when you could get a dish packed full of food. Those days are gone. Although with inflation and raised minimum wage I guess I can't fault them for this. It's just something to be aware of. You can still get full plates from other Chinese restaurants, but they cost $3 more and don't employ as many non-owners/non-relatives, so that's probably why they can afford to load up a dish. Also, those independent restaurants don't pay ridiculous franchise fees to pad the pockets of the CEO's living in mansions. I haven't tried any other Panda Express locations yet, since I've lived in Rancho for over 30 years now. But I'm done with this crappy location. I can live with the smaller portions but NOT the burnt chilis and dry, flavorless rice and chow mien.

    Spicy orange chicken. Tasty version!

This location offers a convenience window for online orders. Our order was immediately ready upon our arrival. I noticed the new packaging was slightly compact. The servings were slightly smaller, but the flavors were consistently tasty. This location appeared well staffed serving the customers swiftly. The restaurant was clean with seating plentiful.

2 items entree without the entree's

Ordered a 2 item entree to get home to half of the meal missing. Literally only gave me chow mien. I didn't think I needed to monitor them scooping in the orange chicken. Maybe less focus on writing the items and asking for donation and more focus on making sure the customer has what they paid for. Thank goodness I was able to come back for the entree part that I already paid for but nothing for inconvenience.

Old reliable Panda Express. The food is always mediocre but I cannot complain when I get a 3lb plate of food for $10. The chicken was a little soggy but overall still okay.

Had a potluck at the office and my go to place is here. They have a party tray of chow mien and it's always worth it. This location is clean with a lot of parking since it is in a strip mall. The service was great and the staff so nice. I tried to get it delivered but you have to order two party trays to have that done which was disappointing . So I had to run over here and get it instead. Of course everyone thanked me for getting it hahah people love fast food Chinese

The staffs seem very friendly. This feedback is about the quality/portion of the food. See pics. I ordered a bigger plate and please see the pic. There was very less portion. As you could see the container is like 60-70% full. I thought they misread my order and only added 2 of my entrees instead of 3 but that's not the case. The staff explained that they were asked to follow the X oz. I wasn't alone. I could see another customers asking why the portion is so small and the staffs had to explain it to them. Panda Express should be ashamed of themselves for serving such a small portion.

Had someone pick up lunch for me today and ordered two entrees. Blazing Bourbon Chicken and Beyond Orange Chicken. Both were so burnt I could barely eat it. I was going to eat half today and half tomorrow. ate what I could and threw away the rest. The Orange chicken was so burned, it was black on both sides and almost broke my plastic fork. The Bourbon chicken was still a little tender, but was also very burnt. All I could taste was burnt meat when eating both. Unfortunately I was in no position to take the order back. I guess they don't care what the serve when they know it is take out. I am very disappointment in this meal, AND will need to spend more $$ tomorrow getting another lunch.

This Panda Sucks! It is the closest one to me, but I normally drive an extra 20-30mins simply to avoid this place. The food is not as good quality, the food choices are more limited, and the service is non-existent. This place normally serves LESS food in your plate. The rations are smaller. I had heard multiple people (including myself) comment at the register on the lack of sides on the plate, and requesting them to add more food to the plate. Also, I have never received the food hot from this place. Maybe I always come at the wrong time or something?? But the food is normally lukewarm. I wouldn't spend my time coming on Yelp to leave a review about this, since I can just go to another one, but tonight (unfortunately) I was too hungry to drive an extra 30 mins for panda, and decided to give this place one more shot. Tonight was my worst experience. I ordered two plates on the Panda Express App, and they messed up BOTH orders. The first order was a plate with two entrees, but they only gave one entree. So they actually took away food that I paid for, AND gave a small amount of it. Look at the pictures to notice how skimpy the portions of food they give. The second plate was also supposed to be half and half like the first plate, but it was not half and half. They only gave me chow mein, even though the order clearly labeled as half and half. So now you can't even trust this place to give you the right order, let alone give you enough food to be full. Don't be dumb like me. Drive an extra 20 mins if you want Panda Express, because the quality is SO much better at other places. All Pandas are NOT the same! That is now very clear to me. I usually leave my panda reviews on the panda review website, however since the panda express app release, there is no way to leave a review after ordering through the app. This order was so bad though, I just had to leave a complete overview on this panda, cause it's been a few months of bad experiences here. But this one takes the cake!

Does anyone know if they sell their store made teriyaki sauce? Not the bottled ones but the ones they actually made at the store. Thank you

Hi Susan. It sound like you're a big fan of our Teriyaki Sauce. We don't sell it separately but we're happy to provide you with as many 2 oz take out containers with your meal as you'd like.

This is easily one of the best Chinese food spots in the area. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves on a Friday night after a long (and rough!) work week, so we ordered ahead on Uber Eats planning to just walk in and pick it up. However, when we arrived, our order wasn't ready yet and we had to wait about 10 more minutes. I'll admit, I was a bit annoyed at first--but then I realized how many people in Rancho must come here to satisfy their Chinese food cravings. It is a Friday night, after all, so they're clearly busy for a reason so can't complain that they're getting well deserved business! Good for them! The wait ended up being no longer than what they told us, and by the time we got our food, it was hot, fresh, and still perfectly ready to eat for when we got home. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Plate, and my husband got the Chicken Fried Rice and Salt Pepper Chicken. Everything was extremely tasty--we literally couldn't stop eating and had to tell ourselves to stop so we don't feel extra bloated. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Customer Service: 0/10 It was our first time here, and the staff did not greet us when we walked in. We ordered our food from a kiosk, and the young Asian lady working didn't even inform us that there was self-serve water or where to find to-go boxes; we had to figure it out ourselves and go ask. Worse, she completely ignored my daughter when she tried to ask a question, literally trying to make herself look busy even though she knew my daughter was speaking to her. During our meal, we noticed that while she completely ignored us, she actively greeted and thanked the other customers who came in after us. When we left, she was standing right at the cash register and completely ignored us again. It is incredibly disappointing to see an employee be so selective about who they want to greet and provide decent customer service to. Furthermore, whether she is part of the family that owns the place or not, her attire was entirely inappropriate for a work environment--she was wearing black-and-white checkered pajama pants with an oversized t-shirt. Professionalism and basic courtesy seem entirely missing here. Please do better. Food Review: * Cucumber Salad: Had no flavor. It was basically just sliced cucumber tossed with some sesame oil. I love cucumber salad, so this was a major disappointment. Rate: 0/10 * Chili Wonton: Super plain with literally no flavor. I love chili wontons, and these were completely tasteless. Imagine eating wontons with absolutely no seasoning. Rate: 0/10 * Chow Mein: This was okay--probably the best dish out of everything we ordered. Rate: 3/10 * Black & Gold Molten Lava Bun: It looked interesting with a sweet, glittering liquid gold filling inside, but it wasn't as good as it looked. While the bun was soft, the filling fell short. Rate: 2/10 * Shrimp & Pork Shaomai: Just okay. We've had much better elsewhere. The outside wraps were dried out and chewy.
