Polystyrene is not food quality safe it leaches harmful chemicals into your food. It is against the law in California for restaurants to use polystyrene containers. Any chef that takes pride in their food would never use these containers. That being said we got chicken with snow peas. The snow peas were way overcooked. We got broccoli with chicken. Both dishes were OK nothing to crave. Nothing to want to eat again, but edible. We got fried rice it was the worst fried rice I've ever eaten in my life. It was too salty. It had tiny, barely visible pieces of pork. I didn't see anything else, no egg, no peas, no carrots. Boring. This meal was not worth the money.

It was his favorite Chinese restaurant when he lived in Visalia. I had not been in many years, so I went with him for dinner one evening, and it was good. Not my favorite in this area, but good. The food was really solid. Very delicious, excellent food. We ordered family style, so we got great portions. However, the service when we went was very slow and definitely lacking. We knew exactly what we wanted within about a minute of sitting down, so we did the typical set the menus aside and fold our hands to signal the server that we were ready to order. It took more than 10 minutes before we were able to finally get a waitress to take our order. Not that there weren't waitresses there, they just kept walking by and saying someone else would get back to us to take our order. Our appetizer arrived 25 minutes after we arrived. Yes, it was so noticeable, I WAS paying attention to the times. We started off with the fried chicken wings, spring rolls, and tempura scromp-scromps. They were all good. Again, not my favorite in Visalia, but still quite good. A few minutes later, we got the Beef & Egg flower soup. Now, I love me some egg flour, soup, but then you go and throw some meat in it? Next level. That was definitely better than other Chinese restaurants in Visalia. Our main dishes started arriving at 31 minutes. We got the Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Scromp-scromps, and Beef with Broccoli. These were all very delicious arguably as good or close to my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. The restaurant was relatively busy when I was there, so I didn't take any inside pics, but the inside is nice. The restaurant seemed clean and the prices were reasonable. It was really the service that we had issue with, and found lacking. It could've been a isolated event, I don't know. Even my brother was disappointed.

She is very arrogant and unprofessional and will ruin your calm mood if you go in there for lunch. I frequently eat here because I love the food even before the new owner took over (I preffered my buddy who used to own it as the food was a lot more flavorful) now the food isn't the exact same but the pricing also went up. I've been eating here for YEARs and have never been treated this way as I was today by a person working in customer service. Ghetto. I'm not sure if she is a miserable person but holy smokes they need to reconsider their new waitress staff or they're going to lose customers due to the lack of professionalism and service. Major attitude adjustment needs to be made as well as reprimanding.

Each plate had its own, taste - The egg rolls were crisp on the outside and had a good filling. The sweet and sour pork had a crisp batter with a good flavor. We enjoyed several different items . She offered that the food is based more on what is found in Shanghai. She commented the have spicier options we could ask about next time we came in. This was our go-to for delicious and freshly prepared Chinese food but it's not the same anymore. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of free parking. The restaurant is clean but the one restroom could definitely use a deep, thorough cleaning. I ordered the #2 dinner combo $15.00, it consisted of --a cup of basic egg flower soup 3/5 --two deep fried wontons with sweet and sour sauce 4/5 --two deep fried shrimp (a bit greasy) 3/5 --one veggie egg roll (a bit greasy) 3/5 --chicken broccoli (very garlicky and flavorful) 5/5 --orange chicken (some of the pieces of chicken had a gamely flavor (yuck) and the chicken was not crispy; orange sauce coating the chicken was good 2/5 --chicken chow mein ( chicken and veggies were kinda nonexistent & it looked like they used spaghetti pasta rather than traditional chow mein noodles) 2/5 --pork fried rice was pretty good 5/5 Service was efficient and waitress was friendly.
