It was a Sunday afternoon I came in and The manager (I think his name was Michael)came up to my table to give me extra chicken because he felt like I didn't get enough since they were running low at the time. He was so friendly and I watched him greet several customers and help them with their to go orders and watched him offer help to his employees the entire time. They seemed fully staffed but he kept on the floor and in the kitchen the entire time. It seems like a very well run Panda Express! Looking for some inexpensive, extraordinary food? Panda Express is here to save the day! Instead of the regular fast food eatery, Panda Express has a more unique dining experience. The environmental aspect of Panda Express was very inviting. As soon as you walk through the door the delicious smell of Chinese cuisine filled the air giving the place an appealing aroma. The restaurant is decorated with Asian themed pictures such as pandas feasting on bamboo, a portrait of the tropical rainforests in Yunnan, China, and of course, advertisements of the meals offered at Panda Express. People of all ages who were dining in seem to be enjoying themselves as well. Panda Express prepares authentic Chinese food with many choices to pick from. Orange, Kung-Pao, Teriyaki, Mandarin, or Mushrooms with Chicken, just to name a few chicken dishes. It is a nice affordable Chinese substitute to the normal burger and fries. The regular combo meal at Jack in the Box, for example, is over $6.00, whereas at Panda Express you purchase a entrée meal with loads of rice for a more suitable price of $4.50. Which is well spent considering the amount of food you are given. Egg rolls, veggies, fried rice and white rice are a few sides to choose from. The best meal is the Orange Chicken with fried rice. The chicken has a seasoned layer that gives an unexpected spiciness. Sweet and spicy sauce is smeared over the surface for extra flavor. The chicken is prepared perfectly which gives the skin lovely crisp texture. This restaurant provides a large space to sit down and have a good time and also has a drive through for those on-the-go people. The tables, windows, and floors are kept clean. Condiments and bottle drinks are stocked and organized. The food is prepared fresh and set on display over warmers, kind of like a buffet. The music playing was a soft instrumental type consisting of string and percussion instruments. The staff here is very friendly and seemed extremely pleased to assist me with my order. They are well dressed, well mannered, and patient. The laid back atmosphere compared to a more formal Chinese restaurant is a nice change and is a great place for everyone. With a heavy heart I give only 3 stars for a place I would normally give 5 for the food itself. I feel I am even being generous with the 3 stars, but again the food is good! The orange chicken has been my #1 as long as I've been visiting Panda Express in various states. This is by far the SLOWEST service I have ever experienced and the SLOWEST for drive thru in all my many years. Brand new, just opened! I've never seen a free standing Panda Express! In fact I've not seen a Panda Express except in a mall ever. I remember eating there a couple times while i was in High School and don't think I ever had it again after that. So anyways... I saw this opening the other day and it looked pretty packed. Drive Thru was backed up, parking lot was full. Maybe Panda Express had gotten better or really found something that worked. If they're growing and expanding they must be doing something right, so I figured I'd give it a try. The Good: Super friendly service in the drive-thru Clean and Nice (it is brand new) Large inflatable Panda out front The Bad: Same blah food that I remember from the mall I got a sampling to try it out, so here are my reviews on each: Kung Pao Chicken The sauce on this was a little watery, decent heat but the pieces of chicken were tiny. Veggies in it were really nothing special at all and I picked most of them out Orange Chicken Best of the bunch, just about standard for orange chicken. I wouldn't be sad to get this at a normal Chinese restaurant. Honey Shrimp Decent, very similar to PF Changes honey crisp shrimp, but even sweeter. Actually too sweet. Mandarin Chicken Inedible... very fatty pieces of dark meat. My wife always eats dark meat and she didn't even finish one piece. Fried Rice No flavour at all. I thought fried rice was always an easy hit, but not this time Lo Mein Noodles were dry, not much flavour and tasted like they'd been sitting out for way too long. Even worse reheated. Chicken Egg Roll Terrible. I like that they added rice noodles inside, but the consistency inside was terrible. the chicken had been pulverized into a paste. You can do a small dice on the chicken and have it fit in the wrapper while leaving some sort of texture to the meat. Chicken Pot Stickers See above... same paste that was piped into the egg roll. So... this was exactly how I remembered it, which is not a good thing in this case. I was really hoping they had stepped up their game to compete with places like Pei Wei, but not so much. It's a Saturday lunch and when I came in there wasn't a rush at all. I'm seeing the weak speed of service as I've finished dining. Not sure how the drive-thru is but inside is a slow ordering process for such a simple menu. Self serve drink station helps. Clean (inside and out) restaurant. But it may not be the case soon as all the patrons ordering will generate trash and the dining room attendant is now plating food behind counter. I think I count 7 team members behind the counter. They do have outside seating though . Beautiful store, clear menu minimal promotional material distraction. Sorry for the grammar on this as I'm forgoing paragraph structure lol bathrooms were functional with exception to men's soap dispenser. As a new place in my area, it was bound to be a place I would stop into - at least just once. The interior is nice as any new place would be - however the staff was very disorganized and still quite new to the hustle and bustle of the busy fast-food stop. For fast food chinese, this is a quick stop on the way home to satisy your cravings. It is not gourmet- and you will not find anything over the top here. I was eagerly greeted upon my arrival to Panda Express. While looking over the options with my boyfriend via FaceTime (I was bringing food home after work) I was offered three different samples-- a sure fire way to put me in a good mood. After making my selections, a younger blonde lady told to cashier to give me 10% off as a courtesy & to bring me back. He did so & also gave me a free drink! Ordinary I have positive experience with Panda Express... I can understand can get busy.. we order through drive through, receipt states 4:29. We didn't WALK out with our correct food until 5:05. We were asked to pull to side to wait, the two cars in front of us was waiting too... all 3 of us had to go in for our food because apparently the gentleman started food for window and then switched to those inside and forgot about us... maybe staffing timeframes or the whole ordering process needs some adjustments. The food is always good, but DO NOT order online for pickup. We thought the 3rd time might be the charm tonight, but it was yet another major frustration. The first time- I waited 40 minutes in the store from the time our order should have been ready (total wait time of 1 hour 20 minutes), while the drive thru customers and customers in line were served before we were. The manager apologized and said he would "take care" of us; however, nothing was done to speed up the order and no discounts or rewards were given for our troubles. The second time- I walked in to pick up and they did not know that my order existed. Thankfully the store was not crowded and I waited 10 minutes; however, I should not be waiting that long. Tonight, the third time- we arrived a few minutes after the scheduled pick up time (45 minutes after placing the order online), to then wait another 20 minutes in the store because they did not have enough of the food we ordered ready to go and needed to wait for it to be made. While Panda Express is the fast food of Chinese, it is some of the best possible fast food you can get. It appeals to the tongue, and typically can be very quick service, and very filling with good portion sizes. They will give you a full plate, and you will be satisfied by the end. The only downside to this particular Panda Express, is that their wait times can be a little long sometimes. They typically tend to be good, but I have experienced a few instances where I have had to wait about 10 minutes from the time that I order to the time I receive my food. They will communicate to you the situation, and you'll normally find it worth the wait vs going next door to Chipotle. Overall, I tend to eat here pretty often and can see myself recommending it to others. read more

Don't use the drive through. Timed it today, took me 27 minutes to get through because they ran out of rice. They aren't busy ever, and it's a Chinese place. How can they run out of rice?
