They say Panda is Panda wherever you go, and they're not wrong. I really just wanted to write a review for their service. We went in and let my kids order on their own, and my son accidentally asked for their new SPICY chicken, and the worker made sure to triple check with him because she knew how hot it was. He actually meant to order orange chicken, so it was a great thing she checked with him. She let us try their new chicken, and she was NOT wrong, that thing was spicy, even for me (Mexican girl that loves heat). The location was really clean and quiet, and the employees were all friendly and helpful. It was nice to have this food option so close to Great Wolf Lodge. I came into this establishment about two days ago on April 22nd around 4pm and the line for 4pm was ridiculous. I don't know who the manager is of this place but it's terrible management on their part for not having their restaurant organized. Panda was a every so often place when we wanted some form of quick oriental food but stop today and checked out the menu. First they never have been a place for vegs or vegans but you use to be able to order a veggie spring roll as an option as an entree. But no they now call those sides though the signs indicate as always they have their entrees and "other choices" and unlike in the past non of the wrappers, egg rolls or spring roll can not be included in a bowl or plate but no not now so there is no vegetarian entrees or another than can make up the bowl or plate as an entree. The price of the food is not worth it. There is no meat at all, it's only peppers and Chinese broccoli. The meat is less than 5 small pieces considering that you have to pay extra $1.50 on black pepper steak. I also noticed that there is a customer preference from the server. Ordered three portions of eggplant/tofu on 9/10/2025. Love that dish, however whoever prepped the dish around 1:30P shouldn't be cooking. It isn't a Szechuan style dish! There was one cook and four on the service line. The line was backed up to the door of customers. Waited in line for 20 or more minutes to finally get to the front. Serving took forever because main dishes were empty. No chowmein, no orange chicken. Fried rice was flavorless, kung pao chicken tasted burnt, and then even the soda was over carbonated with little soda syrup. The crew didn't seem to care how busy they were. Being at a location closest to popular Waterpark they should be more efficient and cater to the pace of business. read more

Very bad service. Manager/cook said fried rice was going to take 5 minutes to be cooked but it was more than 30 mins to actually cooke the fried rice then she didn't even cook the mushroom chicken that I order. Waited for another customer to be served then manager started cooking my order because they don't have enough on the trays. It took them almost an hour to get my order ready. When I got home and started serving the food the mushroom chicken that I ordered was uncooked. I have to recooked it because the chicken and the vegetables are NOT cooked. Mushroom was still raw and zucchini was still hard especially the chicken was still raw. I am very disappointed with this service especially the managers behavior. If the corporate is reading this you need to have a better training with your night staff. Let me remind you that I'm feeding children with these foods. I am not pleased with the service today 09/14/20 @ 8:35 pm. Whom ever the manager was tonight needs to be retrained. This is not a good place to get Chinese fast food anymore. Omygoodness! I ordered a 2 item plate with super greens and 2 water cups. No matter how many times we asked for 2 waters, we got 1. I ordered kung pao chicken and steak . If you counted all the meat in my container (chicken & steak) it was about 10 pieces in total the size of peanuts. Maybe 1 piece is steak was the size of 2-1/2 peanuts put together. Terrible for the price. You surely don't get what the pic on the screen shows. After eating, some of my plate, I took a drink of water and it's ALL carbonation! read more

This Panda Express is definitely one of the worst locations to go to in terms of speed. I have lived in Manteca for a little over three years and this is the closest Panda to my house so I decide to go here instead of the one across town but sometimes I feel like the drive might be worth it. Most of the times you will have to wait in line for a good 10 minutes and other times they have to make an item you want especially the teriyaki chicken. You would think they would gauge how much of a certain product they sell and make bigger batches but it seems no one is paying attention to that. I went in today around 7pm. 2 tables were eating, 2 people in line (including myself), and another customer sitting at a table waiting for them to make a specific item because they ran out. Took about 5 minutes to get help even though it wasn't busy, and when I got helped most of the items were running low. You know when it's the bottom of the batch that's just been sitting there and looks dry as hell? Like that lol. They did look really understaffed this time but I really would use that as an excuse to not have the food at least half way filled under the heating lamps. All in all a 2/5. Could've tasted better/been more fresh which was what I expected for going in during dinner hours but I already know what to expect from this location. read more

They do not even deserve 1 star worst customer service I have ever experienced ever. When we walked in their was about 3 people ahead of us. The lady that is working the counter as you come in and order your food is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with when coming into a restaurant to order food. She was rushing everyone she messed up the customer in front of us order so I should have been prepared to have an issue.y husband ordered the 3 entree combo he choose the fried rice and some meats so then asked me if we were together I said yes and ordered the 3 entree combo. She said no I had to have it as my 3rd item I said no I wanted the teriyaki chicken as my 3rd item She said NO the chow mien is I said no I asked for the chow mien separate she said I had to order a medium size chow mien I said she did not tell me that if I had known I would have ordered a medium she just assumed it was my entree when I had already told her which e trees I wanted. They said I had to pay separate for the teriyaki chicken and that's it. I said it's fine but I ordered the teriyaki chicken as my 3rd entree not the chow mien I would have ordered. The manager even agreed with the lady and said I ordered it confusing I said how is it confusing when I explained what my order was and asked for a separate side of chow mien. He said well she did it correctly I needed to pay for the more expensive item how is it wrong if I order my 3 entree with rice and 3 meats and ordered a box of chow mien for someone else but they are saying no I can't order the chow mien separate it had to be my 3rd entree item even though it was not for me and had to order a medium size entree as an additional item when it was In fact my 3rd item. Came in to get dinner for my family. There was a metal sign blocking the restrooms. When I inquired about it the worker said I couldn't use them. I couldn't even wash my hands. I'm handicapped and could have benefited with restroom facilities before placing my order I think California law requires them to be open and available with the same hours as the restaurant that has 20 or more seats available. First time puts a random choice of chicken I didn't ask for so I told her hey I didn't ask for that and she kindly removed it but then goes on to put the shrimp that I asked for ON THE SIDE then proceeded to put it into my plate so when I said something again about my plate being wrong she got frustrated and threw the whole plate in the garbage very rudely and shook her head & grabbed a plate to start over like as if I was in the wrong when she's the one who messed up the plate twice. We use this particular branch because they are the only one in a fifty mile radius that serves an eggplant/tofu dish. It is usually good food. I think they must have a very new and inexperienced person in the kitchen now. We had chow mien, honey shrimp and the tofu dish. Everything was not cooked enough. The chow mien was dry and hard. The shrimp was not quite done enough. The tofu was waaay overcooked and hard. As to the eggplant.... I like raw veggies, but eggplant is NOT one that can be eaten uncooked. So disappointed. And since we did take out, it wasn't worth going back. Not sure if we will risk it again. read more

This place has your basic Panda fare. What I appreciated most about this location was that they asked me if I wanted a sample before ordering. Very rarely do I get offered samples and I find it a great tacit for trial, especially for their newer and less popular dishes. I ordered a panda bowl, half fried rice half veggies with orange chicken. The usual! The orange chicken was alright, I prefer my orange chicken a bit crunchier but this wasn't terrible and wasn't the worst I've had. I was satisfied with it but it definitely wasn't the best orange chicken I've had. I noticed as I was dining that the staff were really diligent about cleaning the place up. One girl was cleaning outside and was wiping the tables and chairs. It's good to see a place caring about hygiene. Also the bathrooms were clean which is also a plus! Usually fast food places are so dirty but I felt at ease seeing the employee cleaning up. read more

I do not know any of the workers at this Panda location. But I did notice some unneeded behavior from the assistant manager Juan. The one with the furry mustache. I guess they were out of change and all Isabel was trying to do was find a solution. He gave her attitude and mentioned that by any means there was no change, he said both boxes didn't have money. Isabel started crying and I told her that she was okay. As soon I walked in this location she greeted me and made me feel welcome. She is a phenomenal worker.
