Everything was absolutely yummy! I had made an order and thought it would be delivered, it was pick up only through the app and my vehicle is down. I called the store and Samantha was an absolute elite and empathetic individual! Refund would be back in 3 days along with my reward, and I had to make a brand new order, therefore, she said when my new order pops up she would look for my name and run it as my order before, regardless! Order for two (split between wife and I) - 1/2 Noodles and 1/2 fried rice - entree of orange chicken - entree of sweetfire chicken -wok-fired shrimp (came in the tiny additional container) - Extra entree: honey walnut shrimp (came in the tiny additional container) I get it, the workers normally "over serve" when using the normal 2-entree foam containers, because they can pack it in....and they can't in the extra containers with fold-tops. That being said, when you regularly order and receive a certain amount, it's NOT acceptable to receive about half of that amount just because it's in a different container. The shrimp entrées were at a premium as well... I should receive more than 4 pieces of shrimp in my entree. Just absolutely pitiful. read more

I was going to wait for my fried rice to get started and did for 10 minutes, until I was then told they weren't making any more of the one thing I came to order-Honey Walnut Shrimp. This Panda Express location is a quick and inexpensive way to get some Chinese food in the middle of a shopping expedition in Lee's Summit. I thoroughly enjoyed my latest visit to Panda Express. There were 2 girls working behind the line and they insisted that I sample all sorts of their entree options. Then they made it a competition between themselves to see which of their favorite dishes I would choose: "She needs to order MY favorite dish!" "No, my favorite dish is the best!" I've ordered Panda Express from here multiple times. Their orange chicken and chow mein are always pretty consistent. However I highly do not recommend their beef and kung pao chicken. The beef's breading was really unnecessary and did not feel right at all. The kung pao chicken is basically just peanuts and liquid, not rlly worth it if you're looking to get chicken. Other than that, you can pretty much expect what you see on the menu. read more

Great food, seems to always be quite fresh. Concerned they don't understand the sizes though. Ordered a Medium orange chicken, received a small. Wasn't worth the 15 minute drive back, but disappointed none the less. On top of that, when going in for the pickup, the employees seemed more concerned about their conversation than the customers. Not happy with our experience at Panda Express today. I had a small piece of hard plastic in my beef entree and when I took it back to the counter it was looked over by the server lady and then she gave to the cook. He looked it over - asked which meal it was from and I told him it was the Bejing Beef. I kind of stood there for a bit (mentally thinking they would offer crab Rangoon or something). Nothing was said. Not even an apology! I sat back down and was getting more frustrated as I sat. When I went to refill my water I told the cashier that I should at least receive an apology. She apologized. I then asked for a manager. She pointed to a lady eating a meal in the dining room saying, "she is in charge". Wow. Great customer service. read more

Wow. As a long time fan of Panda Express I am SO disappointed in our visit at the Chipman location this evening. Our first server (Ariana) was beyond rude but maybe she was having a bad day. Still - she is the first impression and it was awful. She needs to bus tables or work in the back and should never interact with people as she appears to absolutely hate her job. Then on top of the warm welcome - they were out of both Rice and Lo Mein. Uhm. Everyone in the long line is going to be ordering one or the other. Waiting 7-8 minutes has to be a management issue. Our next server was equally miserable but thank goodness - our cashier (Izzy) was perky and still in the Christmas spirit. Food was cold, portions were the smallest and the worst service (besides Izzy) we've ever had from Panda Express. I've never done a yelp review before. Panda Express, home of Orange Chicken. Yes, it's a fast food style, but I compare all Orange Chicken I have to the Orange Chicken here. Now, they stepped it up another notch with adding bacon to it. My husband loves it, I still like the OG regular, but it gives an option if you are tired of the same thing. Price point is a little higher for getting bacon or shrimp (which I understand) but the shrimp wasn't that great, so it stinks we paid an extra $1.25 for something we didn't like. Lesson learned. So if y'all want to get overcharged and find plastic in your food this is the place to go. I know it's hard to find such a marvelous place that offers such luxury but Panda Express offers it all. I try to avoid eating there but my friend wanted Chinese food and it was the closest place. I purchased a single entree meal and a 2 entree meal. I got charged for a size larger for both of them and decided I wouldn't return to that location. I was eating my leftovers later on that day and opened up a crab Rangoon and found a piece of blue plastic inside. Apparently Panda Express Lee's Summit MO doesn't need customers money bc they were out of almost everything and what they did have didn't look fresh and it was only 8:30pm. Placed my order online. Went in and picked it up. Got home and they had Kung Pow chicken instead of mushroom chicken in my bag. I called and explained that I was allergic to nuts so they said to just come back and they would replace it. I think the key to many of the "fast food" Chinese restaurants are timing. We arrived just before 5pm and everything was hot and tasted great (of what I sampled.) Service was very friendly and prompt and I didn't feel rushed at all when ordering. Prices were great compared to other Chinese restaurants we have been to and the serving size was very ample. We ordered 2 "plates" and 2 orders of 3 (small) crab Rangoon each and could easily feed 2 - 3 people depending on appetite. We were eating at home so we didn't order drinks and the total was $18 and some change. Affordable especially since we'll have leftovers for tomorrow! read more

Yesterday I stopped at Panda Express after a long day at Crown Center and I got double orange chicken sides and chow mein. Of course, the orange chicken was delicious and I was very tempted to go back for more, but the chow mein was... horrible! It had a disgusting aftertaste that reminded me of how I would imagine Draino would taste! It was also so dry that when I got home I sprinkled a few drops of hot water on it so my mouth would stop getting drier and drier with every bite! The staff weren't even wearing hairnets, one of the guys handling my food had extremely long hair and didn't even have it pulled back! Disgusting! The only thing I can credit Panda Express with is their delicious orange chicken that I can get at any location. Step it up! read more

The spice is always a problem. Each time we go it is different. Today it was unbearable in the orange chicken. Last Wednesday it was perfect. The Wednesday before that it was weak.
