Food at this location wasn't worth another visit. Staff didn't put ice in the drink on a hot summer day! Very lazy

I don't quite know what to say. Good food at a fair price. That's it though. No ice. No knives. No help from this restaurant's owner for his help. The people were as gracious as they could be, and had been obviously well schooled on how to answer the daily and continual complaints. I felt for the hard working people. read more

Update: Panda Express corporate did reach out to me for more details which I appreciated. They sent me three coupons for free entrees; unfortunately these turned out to be joke. We returned to use the coupons and at least this time the restaurant was open. We went through the drive thru and explained that we had two coupons for free entrees and were told that we had to order a "3 item plate for a 2 item plate price"; that's the only way we could use each coupon. I said I want to use two of these coupons, he said, "okay, I'll just ring them up as separate orders." So I ended up spending over $16 for what I expected to be free items given to me to give them a 2nd chance. Then it turned out the the "free" entrees were little tiny boxes of a few pieces of meat. My daughter and I just wanted a quick lunch, so this was way more food than the two of us needed and we ended up throwing most of it away. The food was good, consistent with Panda Express, service was fine, unfortunately we left feeling kinda like we'd been cheated out of our "free" meal we were promised. read more

Most of the food serving plates were empty (I'm sure it's a low-traffic location/time) but the staff was willing to prepare fresh dishes on request. Food was tasty, staff was friendly and helpful. Store was sort of sticky all over... any surface that I touched. Happy to see they serve Pepsi! read more

Panda Express - Chinese Near Me - Holland, Michigan

It was eally dirty for starters. Our food sat dished for about five minutes while we stood there waiting for the cashier to check out one person, then he wouldn't give it to us until he could find a tray. There was an 8' puddle around the soda machine with no attempt to clean it up. The bathroom was filthy too! Stay away read more

Panda Express - Just a small part of the mess. - Chinese Near Me - Holland, Michigan

While the food presentation was good, our food was barely warm. My wife ordered the noodles but they were so dry she didn't eat them.

As other people have been saying; "this is not authentic Chinese food. It's more like Chinese food you'd find in the mall." I have to agree with these statements. The service was ok but the place was clean and well lighted. I'll stick to the small actual Asian restaurants. read more

What can I say, the service was ok and the place was clean and new. The food on the other hand, the rice was dry, to the point where you have to have a drink just to enable you to eat it. All of the entree selections were more or less the same, dried out meat coated in some type of sweet sauce. The egg rolls and Wantons were flavorless. I can't really think of any redeeming quality, aside from the fact that they'll provide employment to a few people. read more

Whereas I had a bad experience at this location, the Panda Express customer service team is excellent and they made it up to me. Thank you, A+ service. read more

It's cliche Americanized oriental takeout. My wife described it to me as the Qdoba of Chinese food and I agree with that assessment. The noodles were greasy, the food was acceptable. Huge portions. I ordered Orange chicken as one of my meats. It was still being prepared and the server offered to bring it out. After finishing my other meat it still hadn't come do I had to go back up to get my chicken because I was forgotten about. It's not bad, but also it's nothing special. read more

What terrible food...will NEVER EVER eat here again. Got the Orange chicken and it was rubbery..most of it was little pieces that didnt even have chicken in them. The rice was dry and had absolutely no flavor. The broccoli was so tough I could not chew it. My husband had the Asian beef and there were three tough little pieces of meat the broccoli was so tough he couldnt eat his either. Same story on his rice. We each had an egg roll..they were burnt and had no flavor. The only thing good about this meal was the fortune cookies. As I said at the beginning...What terrible food...will NEVER EVER eat here again. read more

One of the worst Panda Express in the country. Their food is usually old or burned. Bad customer service. It takes minimum 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready. read more

This place was terrible! All of our food was dry and old, it seemed like it had been burned too. The workers didn't even hesitate to give us our money back because they knew it was crap. read more

The food is terrible! It's dry, bland, and cold. I've had better Americanize Chinese food. One of the employees was super rude to me. His name was Kay and I believe he was the manager. All I asked for was a simple order and he was lashing out at me saying I was being rude and giving attitude. First off, you do not ever talk back to a customer in such a manner as that. It's unprofessional and disrespectful! I work as a waitress so I know what to do and what not to do and that was definitely something you are not suppose to do! I was not giving him attitude or being rude. I would never recommend this place! read more

This is the WORST Panda Express I have ever been to. Service is ALWAYS slow and by slow I mean I have waited in the drive-thru on more than one occasion for at least 20 minutes. Last week I waited for 30 minutes! I finally pull up to the window and the kid says "that'll be 15.78". NO, it won't, get me the manager. A little 20 something girl comes to the window apologizing and saying she was sorry but it's been a crazy night. Unbelievable. Tonight I am writing this review WHILE I AM SITTING IN THE DRIVE-THRU WAITING FOR MY FOOD. We have waited 14 minutes thus far and still waiting. Why in the world this place is named Panda EXPRESS I'll never know. I wish I could give them no stars! It has now been 17 minutes. We could have cooked the chicken on my grill at home and already eaten it by now. 20 minutes and the employee is finally handing us our food! read more

Came in and food was over cooked to an inedible degree. Associate workers would not remake and just agreed that maybe we were better of eating elsewhere when we politely asked if another batch was going to be made today. Orange chicken was totally overcooked, dry and hard with burn marks all over it. read more

This food is nasty ! My egg roll is burn , my orange chicken taste like dog s*** , its chewy like raw bacon and my rice is cold the customer service was extremely bad! Didn't understand our order! Contactless delivery?! Yeah my bag was throw to me like they didn't care this is literally the worst experience in fast food i ever had!!!!!! read more

Service was apathetic and rude, food was either dry or cold and the famous "orange chicken" was horrible. The rice was so dry I couldn't eat it, same with the chow mein. I could have handled mall chinese food but this was just gross, I won't be going back. read more

I am not sure what happened here but they have gone down hill within the past few months. It was the first time ordering from the drive thru and was impressed with the customer service working on it. I got the angus steak which is usually awesome but it was not crisp, it was like a boiled beef. The sauces tasted like nothing. They did not have the chicken and green beans instead they had chicken and kale, which was awful. I will not be rushing back there anytime soon read more

My wife and I regularly eat at Panda Express in our home town. We love it and have stopped at several others in our travels. We're always quite pleased with the service, value for the dollar and the quality of the food. So we were pleased when it was getting late on our way through Holland, MI, and we saw Panda Express. We stopped in. The young lady who served us was friendly. My wife got a chicken teriyaki bowl with fried rice. I ordered a plate with fried rice for a side. But when I looked at the entrees, many didn't contain enough food for a serving and they all looked very old. I got the honey shrimp with walnuts and string bean chicken breast since they were the only two entrees that looked edible. I considered just leaving, but it was late, we were tired and had two more hours yet to drive. The portions were very small...less than half what I'm used to at Panda Express. The fried rice had burnt rice which was so hard it hurt my teeth when I tried to eat it. The string bean chicken breast was room temperature and the honey shrimp so old it was simply disgusting. My wife's teriyaki chicken seemed ok. But she got the teriyaki sauce on the side. It was so cold it was coagulated. Now, about 3 hours later, my wife has an upset stomach which I'm sure is related to this dining experience. I wish I'd read the reviews before we ate here, as there are a myriad of very negative ones. A note for Al J. of Panda Express: I see you've responded to several of the negative reviews for this restaurant that you would contact the management team to address the issues. It's not working. read more

Typical Chinese "mall" food. Not bad, not great, but not really Chinese. If you want really good Chinese food, head over to China Inn.

So I go through the drive through and get the pleasure of talking to some angsty Asian teenager that obviously didn't care about his job. After we ordered we were told to pull forward and wait for 2-3 minutes. We waited for about 20 and when we finally got our food it turns out it had been switched with the car next to us who were also waiting for a while. I noticed the mistake when I got home. Normally I'm not someone to get really upset over this kind of thing BUT I had spent about 25 dollars on my order and got about 15 dollars worth of food that wasn't even what I wanted. There wasn't even a rush of people. literally, no excuse for it to take as long as it did and to mix up my order. I don't hate panda express but honestly, this kid working there needs to get let go. I don't like my time and money being wasted. read more

We come here almost every month. It's always fresh and quick. Friendly staff. Wok shrimp is delicious

I absolutely love Panda Express! Its high quality Asian food served ala carte. You can't go wrong with all of the mix and match options. They have several good options and the orange chicken is no joke. read more

Food is good if you can put up with the service. Everytime I go there I have to wait for the entrée to be cooked. when I go through the drive-thru it always takes a long time but you can't just leave because it's one lane and there's no exit. read more

I was hoping for so much more. The decor and branding might have you looking forward to some good eats - no jackpot. Friendly staff, but nothing over the top. Food presentation looked par for the course, but really lacked flavor. The fried Rice was cold...and not fried. Whatever, though. If your looking for Ameri-nese with a drive through, it can fit the bill. read more

Came in for the second time of my life, let me just say first wasn't the best and that was a couple months ago, however my opinion was changed when I was greeted with a smile by all the workers and heard the whole crew say thank you when donating. It seems there attention and care for customers has gotten extremely better. I was very impressed by some of the workers, I had a nice conversation with a young girl named Caylynne and was helped at the register with a nice gentlemen, I believe his name was Issac. Another thing that I would like to point out is that the store was extremely cleaned and it appeared that in their slow times they took the time to clean as I sat there and ate. I will surely be back! Thank you for the great food and the great customer service! read more

We actually like this place. But they have learned nothing in serving the customers even before the pandemic. Today we placed an online order while shopping across the street. We arrived two minutes early. My daughter got out of car and approached the door when the manager shut the door and told her we are closing inside. She said we have a pick up. You need to go to drive through. Ten cars in front of us online. When there was 4 cars ahead a single car with two ppl in it took 20 minutes for the drive through to wait on them. We finally get our turn after 50 minutes only to pull up and be told our food wasn't cooked yet. Pull around and wait another 20 minutes while we watched car after car order and get their food. No apologies or anything when it was finally brought out to us. I can understand shortage of staff if we'd been told. That person at the door should have been able to step in and grab our order when we were at the door. As it should have been ready. As I said this place didn't run well before covid. read more

Horrible experiences last two times visited. First time my colleague and I had to wait for fried rice for 15 min. This is during lunch time (12:15 pm on a weekday). Place was dirty, the person in the checkout apparently did not want to give me a tray, so she piled the fortune cookie (cover and all) and chopsticks on top of my rice! When I asked for soy sauce, she was going to place the packets on top too. I asked for a tray. This is the same person receiving money, handling all packets, cookies, etc and placing them on top of your food, without washing her hands! This would not pass any health inspection. This is what is done in front of you. What may be happening in the back of the kitchen? I used to like this place but lack of management has rendered it not only undesirable but frankly unsafe. read more

5 stars. Yes. 5. Why? Because I don't like living in a world without Panda. Cheap, good Chinese food wasn't here until panda came. So if you have to wait for freshly made Kung Pow or Orange Chicken, wait and thank God that western MI is less of a food desert. We are one step closer to the conveniences found almost everywhere else. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They just offered us free drinks while we waited. Panda, please continue to infiltrate MI! read more

First of all I waited 20+ minutes for my food. The staff seemed to only be filling drive thru orders and hardly any food was cooked or prepared. This is probably due to understaffing. To top everything off one staff member went from eating a meal to preparing food without washing or wearing gloves. read more

If I were to rate this restaurant by food alone, I would give it a four or five. But, b/c the overall experience is just as important as the taste of the food, they are lucky I'm rating them a two. What a joke!! My sister and I went there to get some food to go a couple of weeks ago, and this was our second visit there. The first time was just as bad as the second, but the food drew us back, and we had high hopes that our first experience was just a fluke, and that things would be better the second time around. We were wrong!! The "chef", Rafael, thought it was more important to socialize with the other cooks and staff than it was to ensure that the food was hot and fresh. At one point he put a bowl of orange chicken on the encounter to replenish the empty one on the serving counter, and it sat there for several minutes while the servers laughed and played around. Felicia was the only person who seemed to know what she was doing!! While I sat there waiting for the orange chicken to be moved from the kitchen area to the serving counter, Felicia's co-server sat there and flirted with a girl who came in after me. Felicia was running between helping customers and running the register, and even though the kid she was working with was doing nothing, he actually told her to get the orange chicken from the kitchen! HELLO! Then he proceeded to help the woman after me, b/c he was making a fool of himself drooling over her, even though we were waiting ahead of her. Finally, once we got our food, which took WAY TOO LONG based on the fact that it just sits there in bowls and all they have to do is scoop and serve, the staff and cooks, including Rafael (but not Felicia, who was still running around trying to serve all the people waiting), were standing around in the dining area laughing and messing around, to the point where he ran into me, b/c he wasn't paying attention and they were literally in the way of customers. What a joke!! I don't think I will be going back there, despite how good the food is, and I will certainly warn others if they suggest they are going. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! read more

I pulled up to the drive through at 8:50 PM, they said sorry we are closed. Wow, the sign says they are open till 9:00 PM, not 8:50 PM.

25 minutes after opening time the doors were still locked and after 2 minutes of knocking an employee finally let me in. The only food that was ready was fried rice, noodles, and orange chicken. Instead of taking my order, the girl at the counter organized sauce packets until I rudely asked to order. Terrible customer service. read more

Very disappointed with the Panda Express in Holland. Out of most entree items and unwilling to make more food. Items we were able to order were dry and cold. Wondering where the manager is, 5 staff working and all seem like they don't have a clue as to how to do their job! Place is dirty as well, food covering the tables and floor! Definitely won't be back!! read more

After reading all the reviews of this Panda Express we were a little on the judgemental side. I can say that we were greeted by not one but 4 friendly faces, even the guy in the drive thru said hi. The food was hot and everything we had was delicious, even though it was between lunch and dinner. We ate in the dining room and my husband even ordered a to-go serving of something else to try. The dining area was clean and well stocked. It was great finding a place that cares enough to clean the seats in the booths. For anyone going by old reviews, give this place another try, obviously this place has had a change for the better. read more

Currently sitting in the drive through, going on 20 mins. Worst, slowest service ever.

The food isn't better or worse than any other Panda Express in the world. Where this place fails is with facilities. The ice machine has been broken on and off for months. The order taking between drive thru and inside really struggles and appears to be very disorganized leading to long wait times. Seen egg rolls being dropped in the dry basket by unwashed, un-gloved hands... I understand the hot oil will kill bacteria, but what other food handling issues exist that aren't negated by hot oil??? read more

if you're in any sort of hurry or just plain hungry, dont bother, because you'll leave feeling hangry. it would be quicker to order from a carry out chinese restaurant and pick it up in 20 minutes because it takes 45 minutes at this "fast food" place when they're constantly running out of food and turning "6 minute" waits into 30 minutes ones. keep driving folks, dont waste the time. read more
