Okay listen, this place has good food. We've ordered from here several times. They have a nice big corner space for seating now. Staff are nice. Egg rolls are good and crab Rangoons are really good. I like their sweet n sour sauce. But here's my beef. If you want to attract higher-paying clientele that will spend a lot on your food, you need to project a professional and trustworthy image. A big piece of that is by spelling words correctly. One of their online ordering sites has a section labeled "Noddles". The big surprise though was ALL of their takeout bags say "Cusine" instead of "Cuisine". Misspellings to me show that there's not enough attention to detail in their business, which can bleed into the kitchen. I will still eat here again, but their marketing needs some improvement. read more

Passed by this place a thousand times and never tried it. Stopped in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious with great flavors. Staff was great. I'll absolutely be back. read more

First of all it's so dirty in there, the entire place. I glanced at where the cooks were cooking....gross. Looking at their pics on Yelp some lady brought their dog in and is on the damn table that people eat on. I ordered pho it was terrible. That is NOT flank steak, it was rubbery and inedible, the broth was so sweet, and the veggies are old. I got a stir fried noodle they made it so hot I don't know even if Thai people could eat that. So threw both of those in the trash. Fried rice was fine. What a waste of time and money. read more

Food is still pretty good but service really seems to have become an afterthought, at least for dine in customers. Tables aren't too clean and the utensil and condiment area is disorderly and a bit sticky with the remnants in f leaky chili oil containers coating the counter. It appears carry out business is all they are now concerned about. Luckily I live close enough to visit the Grand Haven location that seems to be a much better ran restaurant. read more

Food is always fresh and can customize your order if you don't like it spicy! Super friendly staff at the Grand Haven location.. (I haven't been to the Holland one yet) read more

This is my second time coming here. I have never been disappointed. The drunken noodles slap. The coconut soup, slaps. The tiny egg rolls, slap. Get a dessert while you're at it. The inside is a bit odd and strangely laid out but there's lots of seating. The staff are super friendly. There's a large parking lot. I think the place is well priced. I would eat this multiple times a week if I lived in the area. read more

Nice open layout. Lots of natural light and windows. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a very relaxing experience to order and to eat. The food was delicious. The drunken noodle was very tasty with fresh vegetables and ingredients. The noodles were broad and had just the right amount of body. I will say, go easy on the spice as I think their regular was just right for me but too much for others. The Pad Thai was great and had a lot in the plate. The sauce had some sweetness to it and the ingredients were all fresh and not over cooked. The spring rolls looked great from a far and will have to be tried another time as we are so full! Definitely give this place a try and it was quick, if you're looking for a quick in and out. read more

I was hesitant to try this place out because of so many mixed reviews that I heard. I decided to give this place a shot given that it was one of the few Thai places that was open on a Monday. So it was hard to say, whether or not it was busy because they were a default option or because they are a really good spot. I ordered online because I think they were too busy to pick up the phone. When I came to pick up the food it wasn't ready yet, and they were very busy. The restaurant itself is not very big, but comfortable enough for smaller groups with a few tables for outdoor seating as well. My dad and I checked our order of: papaya salad, Combination mango curry fried rice, beef drunken noodles, chicken pad Thai, and chicken green curry. Everything was pretty delicious. I am excited for leftovers and can't believe I waited so long to give it a try. read more

Ordered through Grubhub for lunch. The Roasted Pork Rolls were delicious and I'd order them again in a heartbeat. I need some greens in some way! I love the fresh rolls as an alternative to fried rolls. The peanut and other dipping sauces were great complements. I was pleasantly surprised with how packed full my Pad Thai container was. I added tofu which was the perfect consistency - not mushy, but not too firm. It came with one lime wedge. I could have used more citrus flavor in the dish. read more

The staff is always friendly and quick. You order at the counter then sit wherever you like. They also have a self-serve sauce station to add to any of your food. Everything I've had has been amazing and flavorful. The veggies are really fresh and the meat is always tender. This is my go to Thai place in Holland. You won't be disappointed with anything you get. read more

Proteins are way to covered in breading and fried that I had a hard time finding the chicken. So much so that I gave up. Sad.

This place is great for some thai food! The service was super nice and fast with getting everything done with my order. I will try to always get a Thai Iced Tea at any thai restaurant and here, it's amazing. The Pho Zap Combo has shrimp, tripe, meatball, & beef and it's a good portion given overall 10/10! Larb Chicken is so good, with the cucumbers, lettuce, & sticky rice! The portion was more than I needed but can definitely share with others. I would come here again if I crave some thai food in town. read more

Wonderful food at a great price - friendly family run business - You'll feel great after eating these healthy and delicious recipes: Green curry is the bomb here - Chicken satay packs a ton of flavor - Pad Thai is a favorite - Crab Rangoons are quality as well. So good! I'm in Holland for work and the first time I door dashed their food. Such large portions! I ordered the tofu pad Thai with #5 heat and wowsers! So flavorful! Delish. I went back today (ate their food 2 days in a row!) and ordered the tofu fried rice. The service was great! The Asian guy working was so nice and probably checked on me at least 5 times. Again, portions are so big! I'm eating the leftovers for dinner! Look how full the to go box is! This is leftovers! Amazing! read more

Walked in and the lady who seems to be the owner or manager was already giving a dead face no smile. I ignored it and proceeded to order. She takes my order with no greeting, asking questions rudely and abruptly like I was doing her a disservice by being there. She takes my order and a big party of about 15 people orders after me. I thought she was for sure going to make my order first since I only ordered two things and I came in the restaurant first. Little did I know she pushed that big group of order in front of mine so I waited and saw all their dishes come out while I was still sitting there. I didn't complain but I will never visit or give my money to such a rude owner again. Onto the food....it lacked taste and the flavor was off. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and this was just the worst with the combo of disrespectful owner and mediocre food. The two waitresses were wonderful and had smiles though (kudos to you two!) You are working a customer facing job, please be kind. read more

The food I did eat was decent. The place is disgusting. Floors were sticky, with trash all over, walls were dirty with greasy handprints and splattered food. Appetizer plates were dirty when delivered to the table like they were grabbed out of the dirty stack, chopsticks had food stuck on them. When my daughter had to go to the bathroom, my wife told her to wash her hands and I jokingly said, "they probably don't have hand soap". Sure enough, my daughter came out and said they didn't...how do the employees wash their hands? The place was gross enough that I felt the need to leave a review - and I rarely ever leave reviews. We spent almost $70 and left most of it on the table. At this point, we're just hoping we don't get sick. read more

I'm sorry but this place is a joke.... The first time I order 2 Vietnamese sandwiches and the bread is hard as a rock they use stale bread. Then I give it a try again yesterday with orange chicken I want Laos hot, there was no spicy in it at all... no more i would never waste my money at that place again... read more

Ha. No. This is not Thai food. This is not even food. We ordered pickup. It took an hour to prepare our order--which makes sense considering they boiled the pad Thai noodles into mush. Please see photo; that's the largest piece of noodle I was able to pick up. If you enjoy tiny bits of pad Thai eaten with a spoon, by all means order from here. If you know what food is supposed to be maybe don't. A $0.33 packet of ramen in a hotel microwave is a better meal. I know because that's now my only dinner option. One star because they did give us our money back after I made my husband walk across the street again to return it. So there's that. read more

We were surprised by how good this place was. Kao Soi was very good. Crying Tiger was fantastic. We will definitely return when in Holland.

The Rock N Thai Cafe, now with a location on the south side of Grand Haven, is spot on! The food is authentic and I have missed proper Thai food available on the West Coast . The service is welcoming and helpful. The food is dynamic and fresh. Thank you for coming here! read more

Always good, but 40 minute wait for pickup order and a much smaller portion than last time I was here.

This was a great first Thai experience! I went with a group from work and we all want to go back. We ordered Crab Rangoons and Baby Egg Rolls yo start. The Crab Rangoons have good flavor, heavy cream cheese. The Baby Egg Rolls are flaky and have just enough inside to balance it out! Our table order Pad Thai (3 different spice levels), Pad Pak and Pad Sieew. All 5 meals were better than hoped. We had a mix of chicken and steak amounts our dishes and all of it was cooked well. We finished the meal off with Thai Iced Tea which was amazing! The tea is strong and the drink is sweet overall! read more

Worst customer service!!I've ordered from this place multiple times and always get dessert. Last time the mango sticky rice wasn't edible because the sticky rice was hard as if it was old and dried out. They told me they'd replace it next time I ordered and took my name and info. I ordered a month later and they claimed to not know what I'm talking about. Your manger supposedly took my info down how do you not know? And I still ordered from you guys after my friend found a piece of kitchen sponge in her food. Never again. read more

Primarily, a communication issue exists due to the lack of English-speaking staff, which led to my order being incorrect. The staff's inability to understand English resulted in the vegetables being undercooked and served hot but raw. In my opinion, this place is not exceptional and I will not be returning, as the cost does not justify the quality received. read more

Really nice little restaurant. Sort of reminds me of a sports bar without the TV's. It was clean and well maintained. We got our food to go. I got #3 Gang Phet and asked for extra spice. My wife had #18 Pad Cashew with tofu and minimal spice. Both were spiced perfect. Mine was huge! Jasmine rice was on the side for both fantastic food and huge portions. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant. read more

I was pumped when I saw banh mi on the menu because they're hard to come by in West Michigan. I ordered crab ragoons and a banh mi for take out. The crab ragoons were nice and crispy with gooey, yummy cream cheese. I didn't taste or see much crab in it but I'm more about the cream cheese anyway. The banh mi had sliced roast pork, dried pork, pickled carrots and daikon, japleno, sliced cucumber, cilantro, Japanese mayo and pate. The bread had a hard crisp texture versus the soft crispy texture. I put the banh mi in the toaster oven for a few mins and that helped it. The slices of roast pork were thin and cold. The cucumber was also very thin. They definitely need to add more meat and veggies, especially for charging $5 for it. I probably won't order this again and will wait to fulfill my banh mi cravings in Chicago. However, I do want to come back to try their pho and other noodle dishes. read more

Food was so amazing and flavorful that I am willling to forgo and forget the long wait! I went for take out Sunday night; ordered online and waited for about an hour for my food. But with the wok and spatula clanging noises and the two hardworking hostess/ waitresses running around, they seemed busy and short handed. I gave them grace and just asked once how much longer- after that, I got my food within 10 minutes. Brought it home and it was still hot and oh so good!! We got the pad see ew for kids, pad Thai for hubs and drunken noodles for myself - everything was perfectly spiced, food portions were huge. We have enough for lunches the next day. Definitely returning! The atmosphere at the restaurant was nice, dimmed lighting, lots of space for ppl to wait for their take out orders. Also looked like ppl are free to get their own drink refills from the fountain machines in the dining area. read more

Ordered the Kao Pboon which is my favorite Thai dish ever and wasn't too impressed. It was pretty mediocre. My fiancé got the Pad Sieew and it was so saucy. Wasn't necessarily bad tasting but super strong for sure. I also got a avocado boba smoothie and it tasted nothing like avocados. More like a vanilla shake lol. It still tasted good so I couldn't complain. Service was great. The guy at the register was super quick and helpful. Wouldn't be my first pick for Thai restaurants in the area. read more

Cashier was super friendly and helpful and food was fantastic. Tom Kha was delicious and flavorful, and I'm a mushroom hater but the mushrooms in it were tender and not chewy/mushy. The Pad Thai here is much better than any other pad Thai on the lakeshore. Will come back! read more

We got Pad See Ew and Curry Pad Thai. Both were good, however they switched the spice levels of our order... Although I ordered spicy, I got mild and my girlfriend got spicy. Biggest ball of BLACK CLUMPED HAIR in my curry. I still don't know how a BALL of hair makes it's way into curry, but it did. I will state that the cashier/server acted swiftly and courteous once I pointed it out. Refunded me for that one dish. Soon after my other dishes came out; Basil Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Chicken Pad Thai, and an Iced Coffees... but after the initial clump of hair I was done and disgusted and so was the rest of my group. I really wish I could have enjoyed the other dishes and I don't even know if I trust the kitchen to try them again. read more
