Noodle dish
Chris T.

We were staying at the Jw Marriott and wanted to eat somewhere other than pizza, burgers, and fries. This is very close to hotel and I love a Thai food. This is a small restaurant but all employees wearing masks and the tables are clean. My husband ordered so I am not sure which noodle dish he ordered me, but it was delicious. He ordered spice level 10 and I added additional peppers they provided, so level 11. The portions are small, but food is temperature hot, wait a few minutes before digging in. Wait also so that the noodles will absorb the sauce. At the end of the noodle dish, I could feel the heat, but I was not dying. Price is a bit high to the amount of protein, 5 pieces of chicken, but flavor is good. Service is super fast!

Lunch time,, and we were feeling some thai food. So we came in and we were seated right away. Place was not super busy. Perfect location too since it isnt that far off from our super posh Amway Grand Hotel. We ordered the... Drunken Noodles: Pretty good, noodles were perfect. A bit skimpy on the portions, but still a pretty good dish. Pad Ped Chicken: Red Curry was pretty good. A bit skimpy on the food, but still was a strong dish. The soup served before the meal wasnt very good. Service was really good,, the kitchen was a bit laggy. Took a us a little bit til we got our entrees. Long enough for the conversation to run out and be like, "I wonder what happened to our food?" Other than that everything else was pretty good. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!

Topped with chili flakes

I ordered Pattani and ordered a piece level 10. They did not warn about how hot it would be . Spice level sense is horrible! They just add red chili flakes all over in abundance and was not able to eat it. When I went to the owner she kept in arguing with me and didn't do anything. I would never go back again there! So rude and no business sense.

Been to Angel's Thai cafe a couple of times in the span of eight years. Decorations are nice, space is clean, service can be so-so, but I must say that they make really good boba tea. Also, one day after work I went to get my favorite Thai dish pad see yu and the chicken was raw! That was a turn off, so I only get boba tea from there. Recommend it for that!

I had a nice experience here. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai with spice level 5 and it was very good. Service was quick and attentive. The atmosphere is small and quiet. Good for people watching at Rosa Parks Circle!

House noodles. Delicious!!!!

I had the pad thai, and it was all noodles. Not the description it shows online nor have ever had this bad of pad thai. Do not recommend.

It's amazing this place even has 3 stars. Pad Thai was a tasteless soup. The crab Rangoon was odd tasting as well.

The food from Angel's Thai is amazing! And the best thing is - they deliver FAST! Highly recommend the tofu pad Thai and spring rolls.

Had the Pad Thai, it had almost no taste. It was just noodles with a little bit of peanuts and even less chicken.

There is a wall of windows for natural light, plenty of seating options to make for a cozy and intimate ambiance. I love that they showcase art and beautiful fixtures from around the globe. I had the Gochugaru Shrimp (Fusion) and my boyfriend had the Cubano (Cuba). Both were equally delicious. We wanted to get the Gumbo but it was such a favorite over the weekend, they were out. I was impressed with carefully curated menu, great job Chef. This was a short walking distance from my hotel in downtown Grand Rapids and it did not disappoint us! Let me say there was absolutely nothing disappointing about this experience. For some idiotic reason I forgot to write down the name of my dish, probably cause I was shoving it into my mouth super fast but the one thing I can tell you was that it was amazing. The sheer mix of flavors was nothing short of a wild disco on my taste buds. It was so amazingly delicious, the service was impeccable and the setting so stunningly beautiful and I can't wait to come back again.

Grand Rapids Foodie Fest was a couple weekends ago, and I was so pumped to go!…read more We unfortunately waited until the last day of the fest, and the rain seemed to scare people away :/ There were still quite a few vendors (but not all that had been there I don't think) and the crowd was pretty small (which was probably to our benefit!) We had some delicious tacos, as well as deep fried oreos, so it wasn't completely a bust, but next time I will definitely go earlier on! (And hopefully it doesn't rain!) Also, don't get me started on the porta potty situation because it was BAD. Like, I refused to buy any drinks because I was not about to submit myself to that, kind of bad. Hopefully that was just a last-day thing because WOOF

The rib tips were tough and the sauce was watery. This spot only gave about 1/2 cup of each side (no exaggeration) for $25. No way was it worth it. We also wanted lemonade but it was a wait for more ice. After about 10+ mins, we said "forget it". The egg roll guy was by himself and we weren't up for a longer wait. Not to mention, it was starting to rain. The port a potty's had to be full from day 1 because... no. On the upside, the fried Oreos, the salsa and guacamole vendor and all the taco spots were a hit with my family! I heard it was better last year. Hopefully it will be better next year.
