Grabbed lunch here and it was quiet. No other customers when I stopped by. The place was clean and looked like any other Panda Express. The food was fresh and hot, and the service was fast and efficient.

Enjoying team meal at a great Panda location!

Food was fresh, tasty, and chicken crispy. My wrestling team of 12 came in about an hour before closing, and we were still served quickly and amazingly. 11/10 service, Cashier Diana is goated

Even short staffed they maintained efficiency, kept up with food on deck despite having only one cook and literally twenty customers, bathrooms were as clean as you could ever be surprised by at such a high traffic stop, they were out of forks by the drinks but made sure everyone had one at the cashier. Marco is a damned hero and deserves a raise for working that flow of traffic and still having a positive friendly demeanor. Seriously give him and all those guys a pay bump. Also food is fresh and delicious. Idk what y'all are tripping about in the other reviews. Try being more appreciative of how hard they are working.

11/7/21 Do you see any $1.25 shrimp in this order??? NO!!

11/7/21 Not happy to give this review. But it is earned due to the cashier at this location. My first 1 star review, I hope to change this if Panda Express gets back to us. Well, this is the first time it "pays" to be a yelp user. :) LOL I took a picture of my daughter's meal before she started eating. Then drove to In N Out for my lunch. We started chatting and comparing our lunches. She implied that our meals were the same price, but I said I paid $9 for her lunch; obviously, I did not compare the receipt with what she actually ordered, I just TRUSTED Panda to NOT over charge. So I pulled out the receipt and my daughter told me she never ordered shrimp; it was the guy in front of her. Since we were across the street I sent her back in. The cashier did not believe her, even after she showed her the picture I took. After some negotiations the cashier finally gave her back my $1.25, but what about the sales tax? Quality/Quantity - Consistent and usually fresh, but I always felt they never gave enough quantity. Disclaimer - I am not a customer of Panda Express, but only go for my daughters. Atmosphere - Negative stars due to the poor actions of the cashier. Bathrooms were not clean either. Aggressive homeless person opening and closing the entrance door to business. Service - Negative stars!! Cashier practically accused my daughter of trying to cheat them of $1.25. After some negotiations the cashier finally gave her back my $1.25, but what about the sales tax? You owe me 10 cents. It is very sad that you get so many customers trying to cheat you of $1.25 that you have to be so aggressive for partial refunds. Price - Wrong, over charged. Over priced. Still owe me 10 cents! Owner Suggestion - Corporate offices need to visit this location more often! Normally, I do not let one employee represent a business or company, but let's see if anyone reaches out through Yelp for this review? Next time my daughter asks for Panda, I will take her to a different Chinese food business and if anyone asks why, I will share this story.

Expecting haute cuisine? Not here. Having said that it isn't bad, it's really just plain food that fills you up.

The parking lot is large. I usually use the drive thru versus dining in. They keep the lot and interior pretty clean considering the massive number of travelers pass through. The staff here have been great even when handling disgruntled customers that need a nap. The food and pricing is typical In N Out. Food is hot and nicely packaged. The burger patties are seasoned, having a good flavor. Grilled onions on point. Fresh fixings. Yum. FYI- Tesla and Rivian Network electric chargers are located across the street in the hotel parking lot facing Henry Miller Road.

Of course In-N-Out Burger would plant itself a place here. Stopping here for a late lunch was quite the experience. Although somewhat secluded off the main road the signage to it can't be missed. They reach cell tower status in height. The place was packed with patrons. Even the outdoor seating, which is abundant, was overflowing, even with cold weather. I have to say they have their systems down pat and they know how to move product and people efficiently. The routine for ordering is like it is anywhere in this chain. Staff are always friendly and on the ball. Things move with precision! We ordered two No.2 meals with grilled onions and I immediately scouted out seating. Making a mad dash when a spot opened I planted myself firmly as a dozen others ran for that spot! The food was as to be expected, always consistently good and better quality than most places for the price. It was quick, satisfying and except for the crowd enjoyable. Oh, and why do so many folks own mega sized trucks and SUVs that barely fit in a parking space? Try navigating a mid-sized sedan between two of those "puppies" and trying to open the door to get out! The other observed, and rather sad, reality is the parking lot for the very long time institution, Andersons Pea Soup, was nearly empty. As we commented, try and convince your kids to have pea soup over a burger! Times have changed.

The other location in Buellton closed a while ago so I think this maybe the only one left. Could be the original but I'm not sure. Just off the 5 heading north. We stopped by for a quick bite before heading back on the road. Mid week which wasn't that busy. It's been so long ago that I didn't remember what the inside looked like. As we had our little pup with us, they were able to accommodate us. There's three entrance from the front area. Main being the one that leads you to the restaurant. Another is from the gift shop side and we also noticed people coming in from the side of the bar. One side is the restaurant which we looked at but ended up at the bar section. Which happened to be happy hour happening. Didn't know they had that to offer. Bar area was pretty quiet when we were there but it did pick up. There's also patio seating right outside there. Main menu pretty much has as everything but we just opted for some happy hour bites for now. Drink special was offered both for draft and bottle as well as cocktails and wine. Food menu, they were limited on that but the usual were offered. Both cup or bowl of the famous soup was available. Half order of the potatoes skin, onion rings and wings were available as well as the quesadillas. Soup was decent but could have been hotter. Onion rings, and the wings were ok. Good nothing major to rave about. Both served with ranch sauce. I also picked up some dessert from the counter which looked great. Happy hour items were decent for the price. The service for the whole place was great. All The staff and waitress were very friendly and helpful. Our waitress who was also the bartender was a major doll. She was very sweet. As well as all the ladies on the restaurant side. Very accommodating to us. Overall, it was a cute stop off for a quick bite. Cute gift shop that's worth a wandering around. Plenty of parking available.

Outside there is a photo op and the building looks really cool. Inside, you can find all things Danish. However, I was sad to find the shop was so much smaller than the pictures on Yelp show. Everything is connected inside - the shop, bakery, restaurant, bar, and restrooms. The restaurant is huge and there's also an eating area at the bar and a back patio, although it was dusty and cramped and I don't think many people use the patio seating. They are dog friendly and the bartender allowed us to sit in a corner of the bar with our two dogs for our dinner. We also were able to walk them around inside the shop. Split Pea Soup 3.5/5* The soup itself is boring. There's a grainy texture, good flavor, but blah. You definitely need to order the toppings to go with it, which is a weird combination of stuff that somehow makes the soup so much better. You get cheese, sliced ham, bacon, scallions, and croutons but the crunchy green onions and bacon are what makes the soup pop. It feels like eating a healthier version of chili. Country Fried Steak 2/5* Not your typical country fried steak. The batter on this is thin and isn't very textured with crunchy edges. It was like a sad limp piece of fried patty. The steak had good seasoning but the batter really did it no justice. Hashbrowns were average. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and English Muffin was perfectly toasted. I do like that they give you a whopping amount of whipped butter for your toast! The bakery had some good looking pastries. The whole experience reminded me of a piece of Solvang. Great rest stop for something different. Plus, the bathrooms are huge and clean.
