Food is amazing! Love the hospitality the workers give and the polite and courteous actions they take to make sure this place is absolutely clean. Went through the drive-through a couple times and the workers are always polite and kind and let me know what they have and don't have. Amanda was by far the most helpful in helping me decide what I would like. Her kindness and selflessness helps me decide on the perfect plate I would like. She definitely deserves a raise. Came in hungry at 4:30. Many of the dishes had been in the steam table too long. What merited the single star, though was the fact that I stood there for over 5 minutes while the person who should have been helping me swapped out bowls, took temperatures, talked to the cooks and other crew, doing everything except acknowledging my existence. If you don't mind being ignored, this is your place. Otherwise, do as I did and go down the road. Plenty of places to eat at this road stop and unless you are a regular I5 traveler, you're not likely to be back here and you won't have missed much. read more

I haven't been to Panda Express in forever. Right away we were greeted and offered samples. I'm super impressed that the food was so fresh because it is 9:oo p.m. haha, they even brought out a fresh new batch of beef and brocolli just so we can have some veggies! I enjoy Panda Express, it's easy & a fast. However, I expect great service because it's such a popular go-to. They are definitely stingy when serving and their customer service is one I'd say I'm disappointed in receiving. I'm a fan of Panda but this location is always a let down. Ive stopped here a couple of times driving up and down I-5 and the food quality is below what I normally expect from Panda. The chicken teriyaki is not as good and the steamed rice is always dry. I thought maybe because it's a pit stop location and the food sits, but it's always been pretty busy. It's pretty slow around this time when I always go to take out "Family Feast" (after 7p Mon or Tue) I request to make some of main dish "fresh" because many dishes look dried and you can tell they sat there for a long time... But a manager is a nice lady and who seems to be an assistant there is a very friendly lady too who take my order no problem and my feast make family happy!!! I'm surprised about how negative the comments were in this location. We made a stop here to have late lunch at around 3pm because my kids are hungry and asking for Panda express. It was a pleasant surprise to find this on our way home to NorCal. I was hesitant by the negative reviews but we experienced otherwise. The food crew were all very friendly. When I asked the lady behind the counter to put more chicken instead of veggies for my kids' plate, she did just that with a very nice demeanor. The food buffet were all full not like the experience of the other yelpers. My son's black pepper chicken came straight out of the stove which I like, meaning food is freshly cooked. Place is clean including the restrooms. We will definitely consider this for a quick bite when in the area again next time. read more

We love eating Panda Express so we stopped at this one for a bit. Do not get the fried rice, it is hard as hell! People are returning the rice we did and complaining about it too. Someone needs to learn or be shown how to make soft rice! You need horse teeth to eat that rice. read more

Skip this restaurant!!! I ordered vegetables, Kung pow chicken and orange chicken to go along with a soda. The lemonade had no flavoring so I dumped that out for sprite. As I took my meal to go which cost $10.00 it took me a few minutes to start eating it. Over the years I've always had good food at Panda but this restaurant had absolutely rancid tasting food. The vegetables were ok but both chicken dishes were horrid. I immediately stopped eating the food and threw it out. As I was 5 miles down the road, I didn't bother to return for a refund. Don't you love when you're on the road.. you stop to get gas and figure you might as well get a bite to eat and WAIT you see a Drive Thru Panda Express (yum you think to yourself) so you choose that over everything else.. plot twist they didn't have any of their food ready after they had already been open. I just went and they out of everything, had one poor guy cooking....its totally busy! The Customer Service was a nightmare The person working the drive through was super rude....she was rushing we asked for a minute and she immediately said "what is your order", we asked can we get a minute to think, and she said again "how can I help you" and we asked about an item but she was was like "okay, next item" as if we asked for the item specifically, and I had said no I didn't mean want that, I asked what was in it, and she was like "okay, what is your first item", disregarding the question. It was super rude and we felt super rushed we asked questions and she didn't answer them I had a question about the super greens I don't want to order it yet but her reply was like "so are you done with your order? Always my number one pick whenever I stop in Santa Nella while traveling. Panda Express isn't my top food pick but the service is so great and fast there that it's become my top pick. I met the manager once, I think her name is Haidee and she's so nice!! If you want fast service and good food, I recommend you come here. The bathrooms are also clean! read more

I told them im interested in trying the new shitake kale chicken. The cook, John, and counter helper, Song, made sure i got some from the fresh batch to try since it was just about out on the counter. It was really good, i'll have to make it part of my usual entrees. Food was fresh as always i got pretty full. I tried their chili sauce, it tasted like a chili flavored sirachi, i wasnt a fan of it:/ Other than that everything was really good. I can tell the cook made his stuff with care cuz he said "thats the beautiful thing about Panda Express, it's always gonna be fresh" i see other complaints about the quality of the food but thanks to John, my food was great today. Ate here while traveling back to B town. The food was really good and I was impressed because I've eaten at other panda expresses that weren't quite as good. The only thing I didn't care for were the potstickers, they were chicken and a little stiff on the edges. The steak and shrimp dish was excellent and I'm not sure I've had more tender steak anywhere, I'd like to know their secret. Orange chicken is a must. It's not quite restaurant quality but its really nice for a quick Chinese meal. read more

We checked in here around 4:00 PM. There was no line which was very good and the server was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, there were NINE empty serving bowls so if we did not want something that was already out, we were gonna have to wait about 10 minutes to get what we wanted. To the other serving bowls had dried out food in them. The ice tea dispenser was also empty. Unfortunately I have to agree with many other people, this is not a very good Panda Express.
