The moment I walked in there was a lady who was not wearing a mask. The manager was speaking to her and she was screaming at him accusing him of discriminating against her and that Costco didn't require a mask (which they do). He was handling it so well in such a professional manner. I was appalled that this woman could be so vile to someone. The manager was so calm and collected. She stormed out but the manager still continued on like everything was okay. I am so impressed of how this was handled and I'm also grateful that they required the mask that the state requires because I am pregnant and I do not want to contract anything. Everyone needs to be following the rules so we can all stay safe and healthy. Great job Panda Express on handling this! And great job to the manager on shift today! You deserve a raise after dealing with someone like that. read more

I have done the online order for the last time today as third time is the charm. With a specific order pickup time to avoid overcrowding, three times I have placed the order and arrive 5 minutes late to insure I can go in and grab and go and every time it has taken me waiting to talk to someone in order to start the order. Never an apology or even an acknowledgement, simply me waiting to get in the line and I would have received my food faster just walking In. So disappointing as the food is good but service and management is not what you want at this tine. Will go across the bridge to 6th Avenue. read more

We were super impressed with the COVID-19 protocols they followed! Will be going back soon, for sure. read more

Been a loyal customer for awhile, and been generally pleased, but after an incident where I witnessed an employee return to work from outside (having handled refuse) without washing his hands and proceed to start cooking, and *then* had a manager not take any action when I let her know, I'm done. Food safety isn't something to be taken lightly. read more

If y is are going to find a fast and easy place to get a pretty good meal you came to the right place. The food is pretty good and amazing and a good day. I have never seen a line that took longer than 10 minuets. read more

Food was delicious. No complaints there. However every time a new customer walked in, the teenager cook would audibly complain and his temper got worse with every order. Managers seem very friendly and patient and this kid is throwing a fit every time someone orders. Come on man grow a pair. It's fast food not the end of the world. read more

I've been here a few times and let me tell you, every single time that I have been here the customer service is the worst! They are rude, have attitude problems and the portions are soooo small, I am pretty sure they count the noodles and chicken they pour into the plate. I love Panda and have never had any issues with any other location, only this one. Will NOT be coming back, even if I have to drive the extra miles. read more

When I lived on the west coast over a decade ago, Panda was one of my go-to fast casual places to eat. Portion sizes were generous (almost too much food) and tasty. After a 10+ year break from the chain due to relocation to another part of the country that did not have one, I was extremely disappointed in the quantity and content of food served after relocating again to an area that has one. Not only have portion sizes been decreased, but the MIX of the portion has changed unfavorably as well. At least with the Kung Pau and Black Pepper chicken, meat content has been cut in half. I am now biting into 50% celery, onion, and vegetables instead of meat. I'm not sure if it is specifically this location or all franchises. I guess things change after 10+ years, but this is one change I won't stomach. read more

We've actually always had a decent experience here. The service is a bit rushed, but they're usually busy. The food is also plentiful and pretty good. We kinda wish Panda had more vegetarian options though...almost all of their entrees contain meat. read more

The walnut shrimp is my absolute favorite! I've been ordering online and picking it up since COVID and they have been fairly timely. I did have to wait longer than expected once but it's been good other times. read more

Ok. So I'm giving them 2 stars because the food is tasty. Customer service is very poor. I drove there, went inside, waited in line, and then started my order. The counter person took one order then just stopped without a word and took a ticket off the printer. She then started filing another order. I said "What happened? I'm still ordering." She said "The Uber Eats person is here!" Then she takes the last of the spring rolls and ragoons for the Uber order and I'm left to wait for more to be cooked. WTH? I said "Is this how you treat customers standing here looking at you?" Her reply, "If you have a complaint talk to the manager." How about this....If you have so much business you can not even talk to a customer much less treat me like I'm a human standing in front of you, you have more than you need. You'll never get another dollar from me! read more

I apologize to anyone following, I had the wrong order and the very worst customer service imaginable at Panda Gardens. Panda Express was very courteous and respectful to me, even though I called to complain to wrong restaurant. read more

I love Panda Express but this location is terrible. Barely any sauce on the meat, some pieces were completely dry. Won't be going back.

Ordered 3 entre meal for wife and I to share. Asked for another fortune cookie was told no, I had to buy a bag of fortune cookies. Unreal. read more

The food is okay but the lady putting the food in the containers puts her finger inside the plate where the food goes. Not very sanitary. I wanted to say something which I should have but since she didn't really touch the food with her hands I just got over it. Next time if I decide to come back I'll try to ask her kindly to pls don't put her finger where the food goes. read more

Been a couple times, both when busy and when quiet. Same problem with being out of many entrees, charge extra for some entrees. You basic grocery store deli type of Asian food. Ok, fast, a little pricey, limited choices read more

I am super sad about this review because my family and I eat here once or twice a week but I can no longer hold my tongue I know sho the manager and Jennifer the manager before her all great people always going out of there way to take care of me and my family we spend over $100 a month easy here but tonight there was some new young man as manager and because of him I will NEVER go here again he actually told me that it was company policy that he could not cook my food well done and could not take the mushrooms out of my favorite meal that I eat there twice a week and that every other manager has done for me. You sir raised your voice in front of the crowd and I will be contacting your corporate office as well as never eat here again. read more

Food is always good and fresh! The general manager has amazing customer service. Overall I am very happy with my experience at the Gig Harbor Panda Express! read more

Under staffed. No cooks cooking. One person serving. One person in kitchen washing dishes. The two items I wanted was out. What the heck at 6pm (dinner time). Disappointed. read more

Super friendly staff!! Haven't been to a Panda Express in a couple of years. Had to drive a couple of minutes because it's my boyfriends favorite. It was worth it. read more

We decided to dine here because it was quick and easy and relatively healthy... so we thought. There was no line and the food selection was slim. I asked how long until there were fresh vegetables, and she replied with 3-5 mins. Cool. No worries we will wait. That was LITERALLY the only thing we were waiting for. A rush came in right after us and they sold the last of another entree we had ordered. We didn't receive our food for over 20 mins. I don't think we will be dining here again. Severely disappointed and they when we expressed our frustration they didn't really seem to care. read more

We've come here a few times right at the opening time and were turned away. Apparently the open time is only a suggestion. The one time we successfully made it in the food was meh. Greasy and tough meat. Pass on this chain. read more

Been to this location twice, won't go back ever. I don't really completely understand the allure of Panda Express in total. To me it all seems like reheated takeout, nothing fresh. Any time I have ever visited a Panda they are always out of almost everything and running around like madmen, this location is no exception. You're better off running into the Costco across the street and picking up some delicious Chinese food there for dinner, chances are with their portions you won't run out. read more

Went in at around 11:30 ordered a kids meal and a Family Meal (3 entrees & 2 Sides) I had to wait 15 minutes for them to cook all 3 of the items I wanted!! Normally it wouldn't bother me to have to wait, but that shit should have been already filled since it was lunchtime and they should be prepared! read more

Having know a person who has worked here in the past I recommend avoiding it entirely. They reheat day old chicken and the manager enforces speed and smaller portions to keep costs low - he has even stated himself and I quote "I don't give a shit about customer satisfaction" - this manager obviously has no idea who's paying his paycheck. Don't go here unless you want to risk food poisoning and are seeking bad service. read more

Was not impressed with the food... Everything was dry like it had been sitting around a while... Do not think i will come back especially for the price not cheap read more

Third time is a charm, or the opposite. From entrees not available, to additional charges for not ordered premium items on my bill, accidently added, it seems the management supports a few employees shady shenanigans. read more

I stopped by here on a Thursday night at 7pm. They were almost out of everything on the line except orange chicken. I managed to get the last of the chow mein, and a double order of orange chicken since it was the only item that looked appealing and not . Normally, I love panda, but this one just didn't do it for me. The portions were smaller than what I am used to, and the staff didn't seem to want to be there. read more

Everything seemed fine staff was friendly and all the meat seemed hot and fresh. The rice and noodles on the other hand sucked. Dry and tasted so old! The portions seem small so i got to eat alot of rice and noodles which sucked. I dont get why panda is popular it all taste old nothing is fresh. Won't be coming back ever. Fast food not really cheap and taste like crap. Wish we had a pei Wei or pic up Stix here. They both make the food when you order it and takes like 5 mins. I can wait 5 mins for good food. read more

Awful! Stopped by for takeout at 5pm. All of the steam trays were nearly empty, and what they contained barely resembled food. All of my selections were cold, the fried rice was nasty dry and so overly salted it was inedible. Minimal selections available. Have been to several other Panda's around the country, this was the worst of the bunch. I feel as though I have food poisoning--Don't eat here! read more

Best Panda Express in USA! Very friendly staff! Super clean store! Very delicious meal! Superb!!! Thank you so much!!! read more

Should you happen to order a large carton of Honey-Walnut Shrimp from the Gig Harbor Panda Express, you'll be informed, before the first shrimp is transferred, that this is the most expensive item on the menu. (And I'm not surprised that it is.) But what you will not be informed is that you won't be receiving a full carton of the food. With everything else--like chow mein, fried rice, or teriyaki chicken--the carton will be filled to overflowing and may even be difficult to close. But with the shrimp, they consider the carton full when it's about four-fifths of the way to the top. Twice I failed to notice this until I got home. But the third time I ordered it, I caught the woman short-filling the carton and told her to fill it. She told me that they'd been instructed not to fill it. When she observed my response, she brought it up to the top with six more shrimp, each of them larger than a man's thumb. If you order a large carton of shrimp, ask in advance how much it will cost to fill the box to the top. And demand that they do so. I'm guessing that this is a local problem, not a corporate one. I've seen no other similar complaints. read more

Have never been disappointed. I don't mind the wait on the steak entree since it will be hot & fresh. I completely understand them not always having it ready since it possibly isn't ordered enough & that would be a costly toss. I also love their green bean chicken. Servers are always nice & always remember us. The only downside are the rude customers who suffer from too much entitlement. They are what make our visits unpleasant. read more

I love Panda Express because they're fresh and fast and clean. If you're a Chinese food fan and you're in a hurry and on a budget, this place is perfect. Where else can you feed your whole family something moderately healthy and fresh for under twenty bucks? read more

There is a definite lack of Chinese fast food places around GH or maybe I just have not located them quite yet. In the mean time. Panda Express will do. They give out portions that would fill the great wall. Sine they are a chain restaurant they have the ever changing menu items. If you want to try something that you are curious about you can just ask and they will give you a sample. Chain restaurants may not be for everyone, but until i find myself a nice Chinese restaurant that sells crab-meat rangoon, PE is my first stop. read more

Very long line but the three ladies behind the counter were very fast, efficient and courteous. I especially was impressed with a young woman named Jobell. She would hop between cooking and serving. She was always smiling at the customers and coworkers and truly seemed to enjoy her job. I was very impressed as I watched her. I used to be a clothing store manager and I would have recruited her on the spot if I could. I called her over to tell her just how awesome I thought she was. Keep up the good work Jobell. You ROCK! read more

Amazing! I went here with my family, and the cashier gave me my food in 20 seconds. Plus, the food was evenly cooked and tasted delicious. I came here yesterday night and I am most definitely coming here again. read more

You might think I'm weird to write a review on panda express on a highway, but I don't care since it saved me from severe hunger pangs post mary. Also, their kung pao is BOMB. Its literally my fav thing to eat on highways lol. Its always fresh, hot and has the right amount of peppers and peanuts. You can pick your own fortune cookies as well :P read more

Yum. Maybe not the most authentic but they have a nice selection of tried and true American versions of Chinese food. I usually go at the end of the lunch rush, so they are low on most items, but they always make new batches. Occasionally that means a few extra minutes waiting for the freshly prepared dishes, but better than them fishing out the few pieces in a gallon of sauce. The staff is usually polite enough if not necessarily friendly. The plates are reasonably priced and this location does the job when the Chinese craving hits. read more

This Panda Express is the best I've been too so far, everything was so flavorful and very tasty! I really recommend you come here.
