The moment I walked in there was a lady who was not wearing a mask. The manager was speaking to her and she was screaming at him accusing him of discriminating against her and that Costco didn't require a mask (which they do). He was handling it so well in such a professional manner. I was appalled that this woman could be so vile to someone. The manager was so calm and collected. She stormed out but the manager still continued on like everything was okay. I am so impressed of how this was handled and I'm also grateful that they required the mask that the state requires because I am pregnant and I do not want to contract anything. Everyone needs to be following the rules so we can all stay safe and healthy. Great job Panda Express on handling this! And great job to the manager on shift today! I have done the online order for the last time today as third time is the charm. With a specific order pickup time to avoid overcrowding, three times I have placed the order and arrive 5 minutes late to insure I can go in and grab and go and every time it has taken me waiting to talk to someone in order to start the order. Never an apology or even an acknowledgement, simply me waiting to get in the line and I would have received my food faster just walking In. So disappointing as the food is good but service and management is not what you want at this tine. Will go across the bridge to 6th Avenue. read more

Food was delicious. No complaints there. However every time a new customer walked in, the teenager cook would audibly complain and his temper got worse with every order. Been a loyal customer for awhile, and been generally pleased, but after an incident where I witnessed an employee return to work from outside (having handled refuse) without washing his hands and proceed to start cooking, and *then* had a manager not take any action when I let her know, I'm done. When I lived on the west coast over a decade ago, Panda was one of my go-to fast casual places to eat. Portion sizes were generous (almost too much food) and tasty. After a 10+ year break from the chain due to relocation to another part of the country that did not have one, I was extremely disappointed in the quantity and content of food served after relocating again to an area that has one. Not only have portion sizes been decreased, but the MIX of the portion has changed unfavorably as well. At least with the Kung Pau and Black Pepper chicken, meat content has been cut in half. I am now biting into 50% celery, onion, and vegetables instead of meat. I'm not sure if it is specifically this location or all franchises. I guess things change after 10+ years, but this is one change I won't stomach. read more

We've actually always had a decent experience here. The service is a bit rushed, but they're usually busy. The food is also plentiful and pretty good. We kinda wish Panda had more vegetarian options though...almost all of their entrees contain meat. read more

Ok. So I'm giving them 2 stars because the food is tasty. Customer service is very poor. I drove there, went inside, waited in line, and then started my order. The counter person took one order then just stopped without a word and took a ticket off the printer. She then started filing another order. I said "What happened? I'm still ordering." She said "The Uber Eats person is here!" Then she takes the last of the spring rolls and ragoons for the Uber order and I'm left to wait for more to be cooked. WTH? I said "Is this how you treat customers standing here looking at you?" Her reply, "If you have a complaint talk to the manager." How about this....If you have so much business you can not even talk to a customer much less treat me like I'm a human standing in front of you, you have more than you need. The food is okay but the lady putting the food in the containers puts her finger inside the plate where the food goes. Not very sanitary. I wanted to say something which I should have but since she didn't really touch the food with her hands I just got over it. I am super sad about this review because my family and I eat here once or twice a week but I can no longer hold my tongue I know sho the manager and Jennifer the manager before her all great people always going out of there way to take care of me and my family we spend over $100 a month easy here but tonight there was some new young man as manager and because of him I will NEVER go here again he actually told me that it was company policy that he could not cook my food well done and could not take the mushrooms out of my favorite meal that I eat there twice a week and that every other manager has done for me. We decided to dine here because it was quick and easy and relatively healthy... so we thought. There was no line and the food selection was slim. I asked how long until there were fresh vegetables, and she replied with 3-5 mins. Cool. No worries we will wait. That was LITERALLY the only thing we were waiting for. A rush came in right after us and they sold the last of another entree we had ordered. We didn't receive our food for over 20 mins. I don't think we will be dining here again. Should you happen to order a large carton of Honey-Walnut Shrimp from the Gig Harbor Panda Express, you'll be informed, before the first shrimp is transferred, that this is the most expensive item on the menu. (And I'm not surprised that it is.) But what you will not be informed is that you won't be receiving a full carton of the food. With everything else--like chow mein, fried rice, or teriyaki chicken--the carton will be filled to overflowing and may even be difficult to close. But with the shrimp, they consider the carton full when it's about four-fifths of the way to the top. Twice I failed to notice this until I got home. But the third time I ordered it, I caught the woman short-filling the carton and told her to fill it. She told me that they'd been instructed not to fill it. When she observed my response, she brought it up to the top with six more shrimp, each of them larger than a man's thumb. If you order a large carton of shrimp, ask in advance how much it will cost to fill the box to the top. And demand that they do so. I'm guessing that this is a local problem, not a corporate one. I've seen no other similar complaints. read more

Having know a person who has worked here in the past I recommend avoiding it entirely. They reheat day old chicken and the manager enforces speed and smaller portions to keep costs low - he has even stated himself and I quote "I don't give a shit about customer satisfaction" - this manager obviously has no idea who's paying his paycheck. Have never been disappointed. I don't mind the wait on the steak entree since it will be hot & fresh. I completely understand them not always having it ready since it possibly isn't ordered enough & that would be a costly toss. I also love their green bean chicken. Very long line but the three ladies behind the counter were very fast, efficient and courteous. I especially was impressed with a young woman named Jobell. She would hop between cooking and serving. She was always smiling at the customers and coworkers and truly seemed to enjoy her job. I was very impressed as I watched her. All of my selections were cold, the fried rice was nasty dry and so overly salted it was inedible. Minimal selections available. There is a definite lack of Chinese fast food places around GH or maybe I just have not located them quite yet. In the mean time. Panda Express will do. They give out portions that would fill the great wall. Sine they are a chain restaurant they have the ever changing menu items. If you want to try something that you are curious about you can just ask and they will give you a sample.
