Panda Express - Double black pepper steak plate with super greens - Fast Food Near Me - Elkhart, Indiana

I went to Panda Express for a quick dinner. I ordered the protein plate not knowing that it was limited to how the pictures show it in the restaurant. When the lady serving me asked me if I wanted a regular plate I said yes. Give me what I wanted except for the huge amount of white rice I didn't want. I wanted super greens, orange chicken, and teriyaki chicken, with spring rolls. Changed me $13 and didn't fix my order. I was looking forward to this meal and I'm really upset. Guess my husband gets an extra meal. Went and bought tacos from the gas station down the road. I'll never eat here again. Thanks for the waste of $13. read more

Can we chill the heck out on the cabbage please? Like what is this? Noodles or cabbage. Ridiculous.. Chicken was fresher than usual though. This location is decent about that, but the cabbage patch noodles are unforgivable read more

The food is always good here, when they have it available. Today was a surprise because they had all the pans full and ready for dinner service. They didn't have my string bean chicken though. That's why I have a 4 stars. And also the lady at the counter (Dani) was a total ass hole. Just needed some soy sauce and she actually called someone over to get it for me. Even though it was right behind her... she needs to quit, she's not doing this good place any favors!! Other than that wonderful! Also not sure if your suppose to be eating in the cooking area?? I saw a girl pull something out of the freezer and pour it into a cooking bowl and proceeded to eat out of the bowl, lick her fingers and put in back in the bowl and then turn around a cooking it... read more

Some of the rudest people ever!!!!! No customer service at all!!! Lady cashing people out has the nastiest attitude ever. Only been here twice never going back until her ass is fired. I understand it's busy and I don't mind waiting at all but she just makes it a terrible experience. read more

The food is passable, the people you serve are rude and rude, they throw away one's food as if it were garbage, besides the rice runs out very quickly and apart from the cook eating quietly while the others waited for the rice, besides they wanted to give me a rice all ugly burned and little I'm paying for them to give me something good they are not giving me away the food read more

Every time I've been there they gave my order to someone else.last time I waited 30 min and they gave half my order away so they had to remake it! They need better management! He'll my 10 yr old was pointing out all there flaws........ read more

First Panda Express that "ran out of" lot of food items. We got in line and 1/3 of their bowls were empty and others were all out. When asked about specific items, we were told they are out, didn't bother saying it's being made, just that it's out. So we had to adjust our orders, the food was standard panda express food, be it it was lukewarm. Definitely need to work on restocking the food items at this location. read more

Had the new entree Crispy Hot Shrimp. Not bad just not hot enough for my taste. I used their app which is pretty simple but the time I wanted to order just one egg roll the app wouldn't let me just could order 6 NOT. I also had their Sesame chicken which was pretty good just a little soggy. Good flavor in both entrees tho. The restaurant is very clean and the help were fast and polite. I'll be back. read more

Wow.. just WOW! I placed a mobile order this evening around 9:15pm after our initial plan of a Pizza Hut dinner fell thru. Given sports schedules & activities, dinner was already incredibly late this evening and I was so beyond ready to just get food & get home. Coupled with the fact that our previous order for PH was sent to a location apparently no longer in service, I was already pretty frustrated. I got a text message around 9:23 indicating my order was ready. I headed inside to be met with no food waiting for me, so I asked (what I assume was) the manager about how long my order would take. He walked down to the front of the line and looked at my order ticket.. he pointed to the food they had left in their serving bowls & said "we don't have enough". At this point my blood is boiling because I've got a car full of hungry kids & this is the SECOND TIME today that my money was gladly taken for a food order that could not be fulfilled (see my previous Pizza Hut review!). The manager didn't seem very apologetic, the young kid who printed my refund receipt was very apologetic and even offered up a coupon for a free meal. I declined because I just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible to figure out a plan C. By 9:15 the dining room had been torn apart and was being cleaned. Workers were doing all the dishes & starting to remove the food from under the heat lamps. 45 minutes to close.. if they're THAT much in a hurry, then it sounds like they have business disabling mobile orders after 8:30pm! RIDICULOUS!! read more

I seriously can't believe this place stays in business. We went to the drive thru tonight and waited 30 mins just to get to the order spot whereupon we asked to order two orders of Orange chicken. We were then informed that we are out of Orange Chicken, and would you please pick something else, so we did. We then wait another 15 minutes in line for the cars in front of us to clear the delivery window, only to be told that the choices we picked at the order post.....oh by the way.... we don't have those either. We thought well, this place must be absolutely swamping busy if they don't have all these items and they are so slow in the drive thru. When we pull up to the drive through window.... There is only one person actually working and there were three employees standing there in the drive thru order window area yacking and twiddling their thumbs. There was practically no one inside the restaurant. #1 Why are we out of one of the most popular menu items at dinner time? In the 40 minutes I waited in the drive through they could have made a batch of it. #2 Where Is the management of this business? Do they consider 40 min drive thru times "Acceptable"? When the inside is not busy at all? Or is there really no management at all.... Any single employee that worked there that night would scream Bloody murder if they were treated the same way their customers were treated this night if they were out getting fast food. I'd say regional management of these franchises better get with the owner of this one and tell them to get their spit together. Fast food is already too expensive but situations like this make staying home a whole lot more attractive. read more

Terrible service, very slow. We were the only car in the drive through and still waited over 20 minutes.

Delicious but expensive. I love their sugar walnut shrimp yum yum go there. Long lines

Slowest drive thru I've ever been in. It's 12:10 pm and I've been here for 10 minutes while only one car has moved up. Not prepared for lunch clearly. read more

White rice that is supposed to be steamed extremely HARD!!! You guys have to do better!!!

I have given this Panda Express in Elkhart, Indiana too many opportunities to improve their service. They have no clue what is going on, including the Manager. From now on, I will drive the extra miles to go to nearby Mishawaka. Night & Day differences in service. Tonight I thought I'd try to order food online for pick up. When I arrived there were 4 other people who had orders for pick up and nobody knew what was going on. One presented her text that her order was ready and they had no record of it. I checked a couple of my items and was missing one entree. When I got home and opened the other meal it obviously belonged to someone else. They cannot get anything right. Avoid at all costs and go to one in Mishawaka, IN read more

I used the drive through today at the Elkhart IN location near Cassopolis St. First, the to-go container is smaller than before the pre-pandemics days. Second, the fried rice was either under cooked or had been setting too long without being served, because it had very, very, firm texture. Third, the to-go container has three divided sections; two small ones and one larger section. You guessed it, the double entree was in the smaller sections and the "large" portion of fired rice was in the large section. So I paid for way more fried rice than the double chicken entree. I tried anew choice, the Honey Sesame Chicken entree, and needless to say I am very disappointed with this lunch meal. I cannot in good conscience go back to this location, and will be very hesitant to spend money at others now. Companies, consumers are not stupid, we notice the smaller packaged products for the same or slightly higher prices. You know better, now do much better, or lose customers like this one! FYI, not sure why this site says my location is California. Michiana is where I reside. read more

What a terrible place to eat, we ended up getting little bit of everything. Crab ragoon.was just cheese. The noodles ,I noticed right away, dry, looked like gluten free crap etc. No flavor. The egg rolls were mushy and no flavor. The wife couldn't stand it either. I ended up throwing it in the garbage where it belonged. Save your money . Keep Driving. read more

Be careful when eating your food. This piece of orange chicken had a piece of metal in it. When shown to the manager all they said is we can recook it for you. I had to tell them that is not the problem you probably want to check the rest of the chicken and tools to make sure it doesn't happen to someone else. The manager just glanced at the top of the orange chicken and just left it. Never stirred it to look at all the pieces. So be careful when eating at this location. read more

food was cold. they were completely out of orange chicken, i chose teriyaki chicken instead. the teriyaki chicken was absolutely disgusting, and under cooked. I asked for soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce, which was missing. My kid was looking forward to the fortune cookie, also missing. I continue to be disappointed by this place read more

Bad service, they have pictures of food items that are discontinued. That's false advertising. Not many meatless options.

Came through the drive thru at 10:34am because their hours said they open at 10am. No one answered the speaker or the phone when we called and no one came to the window. Ran an errand and came back just after 11am and they were open. I asked the girl helping us what time they open and she said 10am. so I told her how we were there at 10:34 and no one was here and she just smirked and shrugged her shoulders and couldn't explain why no one was there at 10am. There was also another gentlemen there that came up to the counter to complain about something in his food and the kid working said he couldn't do anything about it as he "didn't have authorization" and told him he'd have to come back. Would make sense to have some one working at every shift that has said "authorization" for when situations like that arise. Overall not a great experience. read more

You know I see a lot of reviews here about service and food management. I have yet to see things change even though us consumers are reassured it will be taken up with management. Tonight, again, (this is my first review), we were welcomed with NO NOODLES, had to wait for rice, and when I got my beef and broccoli, I literally had been given about 1/8 of a cup of beef to 1 1/2 cups of broccoli. Absolutely ridiculous. There are plenty of other places to eat, I am beyond disappointed. Oh yeah, and egg rolls taste like mush. I'm done, I will not waste my money here again. read more

The last couple weeks, we place a pick up order and we wait another 30-60 minutes in store after the time it is to be ready. This has been consistent for the last month. While you are waiting on one entree to be cooked, the rest of your meals are getting cold as they are already prepared. Everyone is always friendly and it always appears clean in the lobby, but service is VERY slow for pick up orders. read more

Orders takeout tonight, customer service was very rude, 3 other people that ordered their food after me...got their food before me, and when I finally got my order it was cold. Definitely will not be returning to this location at all. read more

I'm going to keep this one quick. I love Panda Express, but this location and its people are not a good reorientation of the Panda Express spirit. Pulled up to the drive through at 9:05pm on a Saturday night and was told by the employee at the drive though that they are not making any more food and then he lists of maybe six items you can have and that all they have is white rice. No reason why, no sorry, just that's it take it or leave it. We are starving after a long drive and have to take it. Drive up to window and take picture of hours. Still have 55 min to be open. I've driven up to some as late as 15 min before they close and they will make what you want, you just have to wait. Not here. Here you are just getting leftovers and no customer service. Called the General Manger (Tiffany Arthur) and still waiting for a call back over a week later. If Tiffany can't do her job, I'm sure I can find several qualified individuals that would love to be working right now. read more

I like the cost and how you can get a variety plus noodles and rice. The staff are friendly. I just like something more authentic but for Americanized Chinese food, and fast food, it's great! read more

Panda Express - Fast Food Near Me - Elkhart, Indiana

Was during the tail end of lunch rush. Inside was really busy and drive through was full. Generally did really well, food was good. Main thing that dropped a star was I was waiting for an entree to be made and it wasn't until I got up a second time to check on it after it was made that they gave me what i had already paid for. Again, the food was good and generally fast but for that it's not 5 stars. read more

Horrible workers. The blatant racism was so disgusting. Manager saw how the dude taking our order was acting and didn't say anything. The first thing he asked was "Hablas espanol?" Which translates to "do you speak Spanish?" Me and my family all speak perfect English. It was also disgusting to see that when we walked in we weren't greeted but the next 4 all white customers were all welcomed by all of the staff, manager included. On our way out we saw a mother and daughter who were also Hispanic, and guess who wasn't greeted? The other Hispanic looking family. Definitely puts a bitter taste in your mouth about the establishment. read more

The Elkhart location on Cassopolis Street is sooooo slowwww. Drive thru was 40 minted, there was only 4 cars ahead of me.

Do not go here if you want fast service. Took forever to be served due to a huge line. Then my food sat for at least 5 minutes until I said something and then finally someone checked me out. Only one register was open while everyone else is running around with no purpose. The manager was no where to be found. read more

My daughter ate there and got sick from the beef. She threw up for 3+days. Went to ER and the dr. Will never eat there again

My family and I have come here ever since you opened up this location. We do appreciate the fact that you guys have been open when a lot of places are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However. I have been in the service industry for over 20 years. Since we have been quarantine we have been to your location 3 to 4 times. No napkins no plasticware no chopsticks no soy sauce no sweet-and-sour sauce for our cheese Rangoon's on top of waiting FOREVER. That being said I do not appreciate waiting 84 years for my food with it being cold and nothing to accommodate it with I E silverware soy sauce etc. As you know money is not easy to come by right now as nobody can work well most people I would like to be compensated for something read more

The food is good, but the service is TERRIBLE. Of the dozen or so times I have gone there, my experience was flawless ONLY once. The other times, portions of the order were missing, sauces were not included, the store did not have key menu items available, etc. Usually the people are friendly and make it right when informed. The straw that broke the camels back was when I ordered within an hour of closing, the person said there would be a wait (which I was fine with). However, after a 20 minute wait half the order was missing. When I informed the people inside that they forgot half the order, they pretty much refused to give me my food. To add insult to injury, they challenged the validity of my complaint when I asked for my money back. I will NEVER go back to that location. The management is terrible, and I only see the service getting worse read more

I was really wanting some Chinese food and had never tried Panda Express before as I had heard "you either love it or hate it", so I decided to pick my side! I chose to love it! Is it authentic or authentic tasting...no, but it certainly satisfied my craving, tasted good and was reasonably priced. read more

We came opening day, the line was to the door and the drive-thru had a line of cars wrapped around into the Walmart parking lot. We ordered online and they gave us someone else's food twice. I didn't care because I knew they were swamped. Despite the Pandamoniom (pun), the manager corrected it promptly. This is just like the other stand-alone Panda Expresses. I love the honey sesame chicken, I wished they had it all year long. Contrary to popular belief, actual Pandas are not served here. Sorry to disappoint you. Panda-Free read more
