It seems every time I visit this restaurant something is wrong. Either they only except cash, dont have the food I want or there is an hr long wait to get my food. This is one of the worst Panda Express locations I've ever visited. When they first opened, I was very excited because I love Panda Express. However, every time I visit my order is either wrong or the food is just barely warm. I cannot honestly say I have ever visited and had a HOT meal given to me. The last visit, my ENTIRE order was wrong. I had to wait 15 minutes for my order to be corrected. I was given 2 free entrees on my next 2 visits, but they will never be used. I decided to try them ONE more time because I was wanting some Orange Chicken. I pull up to the drive through and waited 15 minutes behind ONE car to order. The lady told me she was by herself and would be with me when she could. Okay, that's fine. I waited another 20 minutes before leaving. I will NEVER visit this location again. read more

I tried ordering the family meal but all my choices would have a wait. Before I began ordering she asked if I wanted to try the steak and shrimp. Yes, thank you! ...but that was a wait. So, I said I'll just have beef and broccoli then...oh, that's a wait too. Finally I had to ask what WAS ready. The only entrees ready were teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. Thankfully no one had pulled in behind me so I was able to escape. We have eaten there before dining in. Came from California where Panda began. ALWAYS hot and fresh. Not the case here in Etown. I've been twice and both times is was cold. It was after the lunch rush so it wasn't busy. If the wok is low, they've offered for me to wait the amount of time it takes for the entree to finish cooking (it's only been up to 5 minute or less both times!) and then they bring it to me at my table! The service has been outstanding as well! Apparently there has been recent staff overhaul (according to the note on the window) but we have been pleased with the service in the past month! I had heard good things about Panda Express and was looking forward to their opening. I was disappointed and would rate the experience just average at best. First the good news. Gave panda another try today.. the place had truly turned around. Workers are nice and friendly. Always having a smile on and when a line started to form customers where told I will be with you in a minute and not just left standing waiting. Was told it would be an extra 5 minutes of cook time. Was told to pull around but never told where to stop or park to be out of peoples way. I parked in handicap spot by front door as I am disabled myself. I waited for thirty minutes. Tried calling the store to get someone's attention to see what was going on. As soon as they picked up phone they put me on hold didn't even let me get two words out. Waited even longer and got frustrated and honked my horn to get someone's attention. Worst service ever we were told our food would be ready by 4:04 pm we waited and got back in line reached the window at 4:10 and was told to pull around to the front and our food would be brought out to us in approximately 5 to 7 min we are still waiting in the parking lot for our food 40 minutes later tried calling but the phone has been ringing busy signal for the past 20 minutes like if they took the phone off the hook. I wanted to love this place because i love panda express and was excited to see this location being built. I was very disappointed. The wait was long for food that was already cooked. The Orange chicken looked different than every other time i have tried it and everything just didn't taste as good as it usually does in other locations. My kids and I have been sick all week. We needed something quick but also semi-healthy. The drive thru was blocked by a car when I arrived. I should've just left. But instead I placed an online order. After my order had been placed, they opened the drive-thru up. I had a sick kid in the backseat who had finally gotten to sleep. So I drove thru the drive thru to pick up my order. I was told it is seperate orders and I couldn't get it from them. It would take longer. I needed to pull around to the front and wait. Went to Panda Express now that all the hoopla has died down in Elizabethtown. Elizabethtown goes crazy over a new chain restaurant opening! A new broom sweeps clean type of thing! Panda Express was good! I had the King Pao chicken , it was the perfect blend of spice and flavor! I don't like the styrofoam takeout box that they put it in, so I asked for a plate. I got a double order of the Kung Pao , as the single portion isn't enough . Typical type of service in Elizabethtown SLOW! Did I say SLOW! S-L-o-w !! Slow but good tasting food! Let me just say this I'm reasonable! Really! I'll wait , but not till I'm bald and grey! Other than the 2b thai restaurant (very fast service) it seems the rest of the restaurants in Etown are 2 people working their butts off and 3 people looking at you on the other side of the counter or on their phone!
