Sakura 17 is hands down my favorite restaurant in the area. I have never once left disappointed or hungry. Their sushi has the PERFECT filling-to-rice ratio. None of those sad little rolls that are 87% rice and one emotionally distant sliver of avocado. They are generous with their portions, everything is consistently delicious, and the service is always fantastic. And the 3 rolls for $16 deal?! In this economy?! Protect Sakura 17 at all costs. I crave this place when I'm sick. I crave it when I'm well. I crave it when absolutely nothing is wrong with me and I simply believe I deserve sushi. First time trying and we were please surprised. Food was hot and portions were large. We got the house rice and chicken lo mein to shares still had 2 boxes to bring home. I will say the chicken ramen was really really good and highly recommend, if you ask for it spicy, it won't be what you expect but the broth is really good. The staff was really nice and took care of our big group. There is enough space for big groups and nice inside. They do have a drive thru as well which is cool. I ordered on line, they require a tip . When you order on line you have to tip. Then if you use a credit card, you have to walk in to pay, and pick up the food. And you are required to tip! So.....you're walking in- Paying for the food- And are required to tip! Read that again out loud. read more

The food was good, not great and not completely authentic. What I did like were the open umbrellas hanging down from the ceiling. They had Japanese themes such as sakura blossoms and were colorful. The ambiance isn't much, but was surprised by the quality and taste of the food. They have a section of sushi that is three rolls for $14.99. We ordered three and one of the signature rolls. Wow am I impressed with this place! Some must-know's about this place: it's not the kind of hibachi place that cooks in front of you. They have a drive thru but also offer full table service just like any other restaurant. Its not a really fancy place, but its not too casual either! It's a nice place. They offer "hibachi chicken" and "teriyaki chicken", which are the same hibachi meal but the regular hibachi chicken is cooked with soy sauce rather than teriyaki. We ordered the teriyaki and it was phenomenal! The chicken was so tender and flavorful, the portion was big, the yum yum sauce was good. My boyfriend ordered his with no vegetables so they gave him extra rice without us asking for no extra charge, that was really nice! We also ordered the fried Philadelphia roll, it's great! I took my daughter to lunch there because she loves all things Japanese. The food was wonderful and the portion sizes are huge. It was my first time eating ramen that wasn't the instant variety and I loved it. She had the Udon noodles. So far we've had food from here 4 times and love the food each time. Had to get my own menu, and no one greeted me when I entered. The waitress tried to pushed me to the side so she could get to the computer to ring someone up without even an excuse me and they were serving in a hoodie. Is that the uniform? Didn't provide utensils when my meal was here and I had to wait a few minutes before I was given any after I put my phone down to look around. Upon leaving they didn't even say thanks or anything. Food is okay, but not edible if you take it home it gets dried quick. I should have left when I wasn't handed a menu and had to get it myself. Service here is bad. I sat towards the door and they had two waitress. I'm referring to the one that is assigned near the front door that was rude and the sushi chef was the same. The broth and ramen is wonderful for soup eaters. I get the vegetable ramen weekly with extra sprouts and sometimes pork belly.

The visual and taste of this food was not what I expected. It was not good to say the least and it lacked flavor.

Great food, huge portions our next trip we order a la carte but will definitely return. It was a busy place servers handled it well and were responsive. I think it's one of the best sit down restaurants in Radcliff, glad to have them and expect they will last. This has become one of our favorite places to eat until recently. The last 2 times were horrible. I ordered Chicken fried rice with extra veggies and I paid $5 for veggies but when I opened it I just closed it and walked out. I had to calm down before I could drive home. They put broccoli, 2 pieces of squash and 1 mushroom. I know they have more veggies than broccoli and squash, Edamame is one they have, onions and there wasn't much soy sauce on the fried rice. Very disappointed My daughter got hibachi steak and chicken with fried rice and her steak was so tough to chew, the rice was undercooked. I called to complain but he didn't care. This last time I ordered Orange chicken, rice, egg rolls, crab Rangoon and extra yum yum sauce! The chicken pieces were very tough but they had good flavor. The rice was tender and delicious . We did drive through on 1/11 and it was cheap with great portions, didnt take long to get either!! I had the tuna and a salmon roll and we also got the house rice. It wasnt the best sushi or rice but it is something to get thats cheap if you have a craving and cant afford more. read more

I went to this restaurant after hearing a few good comments. I ordered and the waitress brought the wrong dish, no apology, in fact she seem surprised I would not accept the wrong dish. She said very abruptly that the order I wanted would take ten minutes. She came back in 5 minutes with the correct dish without the extra portion I ordered, again no apology. Our friends food was not hot and they said taste was OK. The waitress ignored us after the order and did not engage us until the check was ready.
