Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. This was our first and last time eating here. My wife and myself got orders of War Su Gia and 1 order of Crab Rangoon. 8 small pieces of very overcooked, heavily breaded, tasteless and tough white meat chicken on a bed of undercooked steamed vegetables and tasteless fried rice. The dish did not come with the traditional sauce serve with War Su Gia, which is usually a light brown sauce. This sauce was very dark, almost black and tasted burnt. Very unappetizing, to say the least. The man and woman in the store were not customer friendly, The Crab Rangoon was very average but undercooked and soft and doughy on the bottom. Total cost of this disaster, with tax, was $36.27. We got back home in Coxs Creek and ate very little of this mess before tossing it. Don't waste your time and money. Go next door to Kroger and get some frozen Chinese from their freezer section. It will be better than this garbage. Ambiance? 2 small chairs in a lobby. Give me a break. Oh, one laminated menu outside the bullet-proof glass separating you from the man and woman working there. How are they still in business? read more

Worst Chinese food I have EVER had. My husband got bourbon chicken which he said had little to no taste. Mine, on the other hand, tasted like charcoal since the chicken was burnt to a crisp. I ordered black pepper chicken and, in addition to the chicken being burnt, there was only about 10-12 tiny little pieces in a whole container of undercooked onion and green pepper. Other than the charred taste, there was no flavor. THEN, I took a bite of the egg roll and almost lost a tooth from some rock hard piece of something in there. Terrible. Awful. Gross. We were charged 80 dollars for three family meals, Crab Rangoons, and two wonton soups. they tried to tell us that we ordered combos when we didn't. The family meals are 10 dollars each and should've been only around 30-35 dollars including tax, overall it should've been maybe 50 or 60 dollars. Y'all I just spent 9$ plus tax at china wall here in bardstown for CRAB ragoons. Get home bite into the first one, no crab tear open the rest no crab. I call and they proceed to tell me they don't make it with crab and nobody makes it with crab..... so I said well I'd like a refund to which he replies. NO FUCK YOU......safe to say I won't be spending my $$ there ever again, and just like fyi for those who also enjoy CRAB ragoons to not order there because it's simply cream cheese!!!!! If I could give this place NO STARS I would. We ordered chicken, rice, and noodles. They charged us for a large of everything! $43 for 2 people?!?! Then we get home and the chicken is RAW!!!! Went back and the people working there tried to ARGUE with us. We got our money back and will never eat there AGAIN. Worst place ever!! Do NOT eat here!!!! Just awful. My wife and I ordered the chicken lo mein combo, it came with pork fried rice, and eggroll, and a generous portion of(very bad) lo mein. We ordered a small hot and sour soup, which tasted several days old, a complete waste of an order. We ordered an order of crab Rangoon, the only high point of our meal, honestly decent crab Rangoon although lacking in the crab department. I want to keep this review short because honestly I just don't care that much, but let me tell you about the main dish, this was the worst lo mein my wife and I have ever had. Soggy, soy sauce soaked, spaghetti, with what tasted like gradeschool quality limp, slimy, chicken slivers. Just awful. Fed almost all of it to our dogs. China Wall is a new dine in/take out Chinese restaurant in Bardstown. I'm giving it 5 stars for a few reasons. 1. Unless you are ordering an extremely large amount of food you will get your order in 10 minutes or less. 2. China Wall offers up all the usual favorites and does a good job with them. The food is hot and the portions are big enough lunch or dinner to make 2 meals out of 1. 3. The restaurant has limited seating, but it is clean and the noise level is low so its not hard to hold a conversation. 4. If you don't feel like cooking and want to knock out 2 birds in 1 stone China Wall's location help with that. Located next to Kroger get your grocery shopping done and call your order in before you checkout and it will probably be ready by the time your out of the store. Is China Wall an out of this world gourmet Asian experience? No. It's a Chinese take out place that does a great job at serving up hot, good tasting, food at an affordable price. So as far as Chinese Take Out places go this place is 5 star spot. read more

This is a nice little Chinese restaurant. It's not fancy but the food is always good which is the reason we all go to a restaurant, right? The staff is always friendly. I have always been happy with the food and service. The best thing about China Wall to me is they serve SHRIMP TOAST! I love shrimp toast and it's the only place to get it nearby. read more

What can I say? This is your standard strip mall Chinese restaurant. It was very clean and had a large menu with a lot of American offerings (buffalo chicken wings, garlic chicken wings, French fries, etc.) I had the kung pao chicken which had tons of veggies but surprisingly no hot peppers or spiciness at all. The crab ragoons were delicious and a generous portion (10 pieces). The steamed dumplings were also good. Service was very fast. My only disappointment was that the kung pao chicken was not hot at all. Actually, some of it was downright cold. Otherwise a very good meal. read more

My favorite Chinese in Bardstown. Large menu so I am always trying new dishes. Call in, take out, or dine in....good is always served hot and fresh. I never have had to wait longer than 15 minutes (depending on size of order). Service is always best, and employees are always friendly. read more

Food was good but I was ripped off. Their daughter charged me full price on Father's Day during their lunch hours. Was forced into paying $8 dollars more because she claimed the Lunch hours prices don't count on Father's Day even though their menu clearly states "Lunch Specials Mon-Sun 11:00 am-3:00pm" doesn't say not valid on Holidays. Think she messed up and was scared to tell her mom in the kitchen she goofed so she wouldn't get backlash. I confronted her and show her what it said on the menu but wouldn't back down. I will not return. Food might be good but when you destroy the trust in a customer who ordered for you for years, you lose that customer. I'll go outside of Bardstown for Chinese food for now on.
