I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly pleased. Ordered to go but the restaurant is beautiful. Definitely perfect vibes for a date. It was very easy to order our food and it was made quickly. The "mom" (not sure if she's the owner or just works there) was playing with my son while we waited and was very sweet. Would definitely eat here again!

Solid and delicious food and service. On my way back from Nashville to Milwaukee and decided to stop at this restaurant in a town I had never visited. Not completely sure if it was run by a family, but had a strong family feel.

Patrick has done it again. Great food. Very flavorful. Fresh vegetables. Patrick is always friendly. Quiet setting. The Tom yum Gai is the best. Spicy and sour - great mixture of flavors.

I love this C3. Panang Curry!! It's one of my favorites. The pork belly is to die for as well.

The food is amazing. The pork belly is awesome. Taste so good. The service is always fast and friendly. They always do with a smile on their face. You're always eager to help no matter what they're busy but they get people in and out. I recommend anyone coming here great food.

We started going here when they opened. To our surprise 10 years after our first visit it is the exact same. The owner even remembered our names. You can't buy that anywhere. We treated ourselves to chicken rice soup and dumplings (both which are the go to starters) followed by Bangkok noodle, Thai angel, and a noodle bowl. The Bangkok is a sweet savory rice noodle bowl with vegetables. The Thai angel is a mild creamy coconut noodle dish, the noodle bowl was a ramen with savory Thai sauce with fried chicken. It was our sons first time with Thai and he it

I usually don't "come heavy" on a first time review, but this needs to be said:…read more Good food isn't enough for a high rating. Service & integrity is half the process. The food last night was quality; the pad thai, jalapeño beef, spring rolls, shrimp fried rice, etc ... all kicked ass & we took home plenty of Sunday dinner/Saturday leftovers. So here's my 'suggestion/watch out' negative to all who read this - 8 minutes to serve the apps - not bad. But then nothing from a waitress with 2 tables who were already eating. We were her only other table. The apps were followed by 35 min to deliver 6 plates of rice & noodles ... that's unacceptable. I suggest your staff be trained better, & that the owner/manager (she was there) help out when a table is ignored like we were. There were 4 2-tops and a 3-top when we arrived, and one 3-top came in after us. We waited until after the dinner rush for a reason. So. That's my suggestion. Service speed & pacing is half the tip, if not more. Now ... (clears throat) ... here's my 'watch out' - the server handed me a bill with a 20% gratuity already on the bill; and the tax was generated ON THE TOTAL WITH THAT TIP!! No notice on the menu or anywhere about large parties & automatic tip policy. Nothing. And 2 adults + 4 kids (ages 6-12) with no high chairs ... that's not a large party anywhere I've heard. Now back to the overcharge ... that's a violation worthy of mention to y'all Yelpers, & to the licensure offices in Louisville city & Jefferson County. If this business has done this previously & kept that excess tax ... that's a federal violation that can shut a restaurant forever. Now ... I don't like reporting small businesses in general nor will I report them for this tactic. But Yelpers need to know, & watch for this. This nonsense has to stop, and no amount of good food makes up for these abuses. It happens often. Be aware. Aftermath: the boss removed the gratuity when I told her what happened. She was nervous as hell (as she should've been). Her reaction gave me the feeling that either she had knowledge of this practice OR she realized her server had put her business in peril ... but she was REALLY edgy & apologetic afterwards. With all if this, I didn't use it as an excuse to NOT tip. I waited & bartended for over 20 years myself. I left 15%, which is very kind considering what they tried to pull off. But the food was excellent. I took no photos. The rooms are fairly industrial park & not much in the way of stylish. I don't count that off on the gratuity or blame employees. The boss makes that choice. She needs to address placing boxes in aisles & cleaning products here & there; it makes for less than pleasing ambiance in any eatery. I'm tempted to avoid this place, but in a week or so, I intend to go back and let the boss read this (if they don't see it sooner) and tell me what's what. I'm open to correction, so is anyone... or any business. Maybe we'll shake hands & I'll leave with a bag full of food. After all... it was good the first time, and I'm a fat bastard. I need my carbs! So ... if you read this far ... God bless you. See you next rant...

I'm really impressed with Time 4 Thai after 2 visits and it's our go-to Thai now!…read more For apps, we've tried the money bags, the long life rolls, and the shrimp fresh spring rolls. I'd rank them in that order. The money bags are 5/5, delicious. The long life rolls are 4/5, very good, and the spring rolls, as someone who LOVES them, would say 2/5. They didn't have a lot of flavor and the sauce was coconutty instead of typical peanut sauce; I wasn't a fan. For entrees, we've tried the panang curry with beef, pineapple curry with chicken, and the crispy garlic with chicken. All 3 are delicious and I'd recommend all. The crispy garlic with chicken is probably my favorite - got a spice 3.5 - pretty spicy but nothing crazy - the sauce is light and savory, yummy veggies. The pineapple curry was different between the two times, and the first time it had an AMAZING wok flavor to it. The second time that flavor was missing, although it was still solid. The panang curry with beef was delicious, savory and slightly nutty, got it pretty spicy which was perfect. Service is always very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is casual, yet feels upscale, and very beautifully decorated in interesting Thai decor. I'm so glad that Louisville has this gem!

My food arrived quickly and was just what I needed. The pad thai was filling with just the right amount of spice. It's hard to judge pad thai because every place makes it a little differently and you just know when it's good or not -- this was perfect pad thai IMO! I also got some shrimp fresh rolls with peanut sauce, an absolute must of an appetizer. This meal brightened my day probably more than it should have, but hey, I'll take it. Love that Time 4 Thai is so close and is easy to count on for good food.

We've been Thai Thai fans since the beginning. And remain fans after the transfer of ownership…read more The "new" owners are still very invested and responsive and involved. They care about the food and the patrons. This time, we got takeout. We tend to alternate between Thai Thai and Thai Express (both are wonderful and authentic, with great flavors and spice). We got some of our favorites: drunken noodles (pad see Mao), packed with egg noodles, zucchini, broccoli, onions, bell peppers, carrots, mushrooms, and basil. They really do shove this dish full of spice and fresh veggies. I got the level 4, which is a level below "Thai hot." Honestly, I will say they probably serve things hotter and more accurately in the restaurant. I didn't think my takeout was a level 4 . . . certainly nowhere near the next level of Thai hot . . . I suspect this is because they expect palm colored people to shy away from spice, and if not in person, they can't confirm what they REALLY mean when they say "spicy" or "hot." We also got the pineapple fried rice and the lo mein. Honestly, a lot of our dishes overlapped, but we were fine with that because we knew this food would be high quality and would carry over into lunch the next day. Thai Thai offers authentic takes on all of the above as well as pad see ew, lard na, pad wooden, various soups. They offer the whole range of noodles, from thick and beefy egg noodles to stir-fried glass noodles. Fried rice with pineapple, sriracha, crab, sardines. In addition to noodles of all textures and sizes, they also offer a multitude of flavors: ginger, veggies, brown sauce, basil eggplant, sweet and sour, garlic, cashew, peanut, pepper, sesame . . . or even "three tase," or their special three flavor sauce. Tons of curry . . . red, green massaman, panang. Meaty dishes like basil steak, BBQ pork ribs, roasted duck, lamb . . . seafood like scallops, lobster, salmon, pompano. This is a Western Kentucky mainstay. We must protect Thai Thai and Thai Express at all costs!

The crackers are extremely thin and makes a mess unlike the traditional rice crackers usually served this dip. We ordered pad kraw pao and boat noodles for entrees. The pad kraw pao was extremely salty. Almost inedible but the rice saved it kind of. I regret not tasting the liquid before spooning it on to my rice though. The boat noodles tasted off. Like the blood added for an emulsifier was old or the temperature was off when add. It really threw the soup flavor off that even adding condiments couldn't save. For dessert we got mango sticky rice and the coconut ice cream. They both looked delicious. However salted coconut cream that was on top of the ice cream was ridiculously salty too. Luckily we didn't pour it on the mango sticky rice and were able to control the saltiness. I really wanted to like this place since it was advertised as authentic Thai and I'm always searching for that but unfortunately the food just didn't hit. And it may be authentic in technique but the flavor is not for me. But there were plenty of other patrons that seemed to enjoy their food.
