The few times we've gotten 2B Thai, it's been pretty good. The last time we went they were super busy, service wasn't that great, but everyone was pretty nice. Some of the chicken in my fried rice was raw -- still pink and not fully cooked -- two very large pieces. Everyone else checked their dishes. My niece's pineapple fried rice also had raw chicken in it. We had all started eating. I only had a few bites, but my niece had eaten nearly half of her dish. We told someone and he didn't seem to want to really fix the problem, he seemed very annoyed that we were telling him that there was raw chicken in our dishes. We got two new dishes brought to us and checked the chicken in both. They seemed fine, but at this point we had lost our appetites. When we paid, the owner did not give any kind of discount for my meal, and I had to ask mention to him again about the raw chicken in our dishes. He said he would give my niece a discount (as we had already paid for ours). Her total ended up being $14 and some change, yet the dish is $15 and some change, so she got maybe a dollar off and probably ate some raw chicken? Not impressed and really disappointed as we used to really enjoy eating their food. While traveling I ventured out of my comfort zone and tried this thai restaurant. I do not like spicy food and was fearful that would be the case with thai food. I asked the waiter/owner for suggestions and opted for the pineapple chicken and shrimp (minus the shrimp) cashew fried rice. Actually it was kind of bland. There was no salt or soy sauce on the table so I ate it bland. It was plentiful and I could not eat it all. It had plenty of chicken in it. Without tip my bill came to $14 which I thought was pretty pricey for chicken fried rice and it did not come with anything. No egg roll. no crispy noodles. no fortune cookie. Service was good. food was hot and restaurant is quaint and welcoming. It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. But for my taste I will stick to Chinese were I can get comparable food for much cheaper. read more

The food here is awesome and the service is top-notch. My favorite dish here is the Prad Prik Khing and the Bangkok noodles. The fresh spring rolls and satay chicken are my go-to apps. There's different levels of spice you can get for the dishes. Very hot is a step down from their hottest, and its the right amount of heat. If you're craving Thai food or just want something different, I would definitely come here. 5 stars easy! read more

Really hoping for a better experience. Food didn't make me want to come back. It wasn't bad, but I'm not gonna rave about it to anyone. Portions for $15 pad Thai was very small for the price and the flavor was mediocre at best ..I know inflation is bad, but it's rice noodles, it can't be that expensive. Also, such a large menu. This was my 3rd time here since they've opened. I was really in the mood for pad thai. What I will say is the most impressive thing about this place is that I felt like we had just ordered our dish when it appeared on our table in what seemed like less than 5 minutes. I believe this place has been around for at least 7 years. So, to give you a clue of my impression of this place that my 3rd visit within that time has not improved a whole lot. Given this is the ONLY Thai restaurant in the area, it somewhat fulfills the craving if you don't feel like driving to Louisville. I'm not an expert in Thai cuisine but of what I have experienced this one falls in the o.k. category. I was hopeful with the boba tea as it is something greatly lacking in this area. Unfortunately, trying to enjoy clumped up boba through a straw takes away from the joy of the experience and the beverage. They get the 'e' for effort. The prices seemed to have come out more reasonable than I remember the last time we were there. It will likely be a while before I attempt this place again and hopefully I'll be able to update the review closer to 4 or 5 stars. If I go back again soon it'll probably just be for the Thai curry and Thai ice tea. What I did like overall was both the quick service and the ambiance. Although in the evening it seemed a bit too dark, the decor and lighting is relaxing and inviting. Curious if others feel the same in their experiences here. read more

Not a lot I can say about these folks. The fresh summer rolls were good. The sauce was solid and the flavor more like Hoisin and hot than peanutty. I had spicy drunken noodles and the taste wasn't spicy or drunken. They were okay. That's about all I can say about that. Finally and most disappointing was Pad Thai. This is the standard most Thai places live by. It's a dish made with a glass noodle and includes veggies, meats/seafood, spices and ground peanuts. It's served fairly dry. This pad Thai had the faint flavors of the traditional dish but fell short in every other way. The noodle was more of a spaghetti noodle versus a clear rice noodle. There wasn't a lot of anything in it and it was soupy. Sadly, it wasn't bad but it wasn't good. Service though was super fast, prices were in line for the area, the place looked clean and was decently appointed and the staff was pleasant. Loveeee this place. The owner always takes our order and remembers us every time we go. The food is amazing and service is even better. The owner truly loves what he does and feels like family every time you go in there. He talks to everyone and is so polite and values his customers. 2B or not 2B, that is the question. Well, I'd say the answer is 2B. I've only had Thai Tea from here, but it's mid-range in terms of price and has a good taste. I will definitely come back to try more than just Thai Tea at some point, but based on this drink, it's going to be well worth coming back for a meal. Super friendly people too. Been a customer here for 9-10 years. Everything about 2B Thai is great... except the hours. Food is authentic (I've visited Thailand), well priced, service is friendly and fast. My family's long standing complaint is the hours of service. 12-2 PM during the week is too narrow. Plenty of people eat earlier between 11-12, either preference or work restrictions, and don't have time to just be sitting down at 12-12:15. 2-8 Pm on Saturday and Sunday really doesn't make sense; who is eating lunch between 2-4 PM? Not many people. Should be open starting 11 AM on Saturdays and Sundays... we would visit, and this is the general restaurant norm. The limited service hours directly affect how frequently we eat here. Other than that, it's excellent. read more

Writing to let Yelpers know to call 2B Thai before trying to visit. All of their web-based hours are incorrect. As of the writing of this review, hours were 2-8pm Tuesday through Saturday. Sadly, we based a road trip with a stop here for lunch. We selected our time based on website, google, and yelp. Called in our order only to hear of their revised hours. Our last visit here, pre-COVID, was awesomely delicious so we were excited to pick up some food! Food was bland, should have asked for spice. Curry was watery and had very little meat. I love papaya salad and didn't think you could mess that up, but theirs was not very flavorful. If you drink anything other than beer, don't order any alcohol from this place, I ordered wine, it was disgusting. At least serve decent wine! Not boxed disgusting wine. When I told the staff that my glass of wine tasted old, they just took it away but I still paid for it. Probably some of the worst thai food I have ever eaten. The only reason I gave two stars is because of the friendly service. This restaurant used to have great portions at a really reasonable price. Not anymore!! I visited the place while driving from land between the lakes to Indianapolis. The ambience is good and they welcome you with a good smile. The servers were pretty good and put a smile on the face every time. I had the pad kee mow noodles with shrimp along with wonton soup.
