The food was old and tired. Nothing looked like it's been refreshed all day. This place has really gone down hill since opening.

Pretty decent spread for this Chinese buffet at a very reasonable price. Best of all no soft serve ice cream but real ice cream!!!! Great customer service with attentive staff for drink refills. Plenty of shared parking in the lot up front. read more

We always stop by when passing on I-65, pretty quick detour off the interstate for a great buffet and friendly staff. The staff will go above and beyond to make our visit perfect. We've never been disappointed with our visits. read more

If there was a 911 number for calling the food police I would have called. The food didn't even seem to be real diner beware.

As an Asian buffet connoisseur, I was pretty disappointed with Kingdom Buffet. Upon entering, the interior is dark, but tastefully decorated. There's even a turtle who lives there in the water feature who was just chilling on a rock and that's pretty cute. We quickly learned that the food was simply not up to par. The crab Rangoon was the worst I've ever had just very brittle and overly sweet. Every chicken dish and dumpling was dried out. There was no sushi, but there was kimbap, which I tried and found to be dry and severely lacking in flavor. There were a few things that were ok like noodles and rice. Service was friendly and the establishment was clean enough. Not the absolute worst, but far from average, unfortunately. read more

The food is same as any other Chinese restaurant in the area but it is more expensive than the other places by far

As far as a Chinese buffet it's lacking. I haven't been here in ages but a recent visit shows how bad things have gotten over the years. It's an old restaurant and pretty dark and dingy. The carpet hasn't been changed in years and probably is teeming with fungus. Their tile is always greasy and you definitely need to walk gingerly, lest you fall on your butt, like my daughter did many years ago. I'd steer clear of the "sushi", yes definitely in quotes. Their fried rice is a weird yellow color and quite bland, stick with the steamed rice. Noodle dishes are pretty good. Most of the American Chinese dishes like General Tsao chicken, spare ribs, bourbon chicken, sweet and sour chicken are okay. Overall most of the dishes are the same as any other Chinese buffet but some are terrible and I've left here the last few times regretting crossing the threshold. The staff are friendly enough and they are quick to serve your drinks and come by often for refills. read more

I am not a huge fan of Americanized ethnic food at all, but that's what you get when you go to an Asian buffet in this area. So a few times I have just needed to eat and this was the easiest choice. I am told by relatives and friends that this is the best Asian buffet in Elizabethtown. And last year I went here on Christmas Eve with some extended family. I am not overly impressed with the offerings here but they do have enough items that I can find certain things I do like to eat. They do have the ubiquitous seafood Mayo dish that almost all Asian buffets have in the area but their's does taste better in my opinion than other places I have tried. The other main dish offerings are all the regular stuff that you find anywhere. They have good pot stickers and dim sum dumplings. They do Mongolian barbecue as well if that is your thing. One item that I really do enjoy is on their dinner buffet and that is on demand carved medium rare prime rib. Service is hit or miss depending on which section you are placed in and I have seen servers openly request or remind diners to tip. In summation, I can safely eat here and be satisfied. read more

Always good food, for years! Restaurant owners have owned this establishment for years and now their teenage children are helping out! Food is always fresh and if it gets low, all you have to is ask for them to fill it! Dinnertime salmon is the best in town! read more

The food is great - especially if it's busy. But if you don't see something on the buffet, just ask. We have been going here for at least 15 years, maybe more. Ever since it opened anyways, we have been customers. Simon and his crew are super friendly. They make the best orange chicken ever! And lots of desserts to choose from. Crab Rangoons, Egg Rolls- we will probably have to go tomorrow! Ha ha read more

Initially my spouse went here a few weeks ago and I stayed behind unpacking another box as we had just moved to E-Town. He left a great review. I accompanied him yesterday, 4/21/2023 and was not disappointed. There is a plethora of offerings, from soup and salad to normal and special desserts. Entrees numbered so many I lost count. Each was replenished when needed. Everything was hot and plentiful. The price should be higher, given all they offer. And the prime rib was delicious. I'd give it ten stars if I could, it was that good. We'll be back soon! read more

So look, you gotta rate this place for what it truly is. It's a damn good value. For $13 all you can eat lunch is fantastic. The food had a good flavor, I enjoyed the orange chicken, and the onion chicken was great if you like spicy food. It's a solid Chinese buffet that I'd definitely come back to. read more

Finally- Must have made some changes. Gave it another chance. A place to get good Chinese food at a decent price. Long time since I have seen any Chinese restaurant with Dim Sum. Dumplings were just as good. Plenty to choose from- everyone should be able to find something they like. Service was good- but they were fairly busy. I recommend coming here and will be back. read more

We took our family out, 15 people, the service was just ok, had only one server that didn't keep up, the food was average, egg rolls are the worst, if you can't make egg rolls, well what is the rest of the food like, the meat was hardly there, mostly vegetables, won't eat there again read more

Ate at Kingdom Buffet Wednesday night, it was a great meal, and the service was great as well. WELL DONE!

The service was excellent the manager and wait staff took extra special care of an elderly handicapped woman seated near me. The food was good but the care and respect they showed her was unlike anything I've seen before. read more

The workers are nice but the food was disgusting, it was just so nasty we tried a bite of everything and we love this type of food but it didn't taste right and it was hot in there! We will never go back! We are paying for trying to eat anything there yesterday! It takes a lot for us to just not like something and this food was disgusting!!! I hate leaving bad reviews but we wasted our money read more

Bleh... my daughter and I wanted to try something new, and opted to take a chance on a Chinese buffet... took one for the team on this one. We arrived about 1115, it opened at 1100, so it wasn't full at all. Now the bad... first we noticed the place was cold, which wasn't pleasant since it was cold outside. Worse than a cold restaurant is cold food, and that is what we had... EVERYTHING was cold including the soup. We will never go back! read more

Be sure to check the price before you eat. You might not want to go there on the weekend and you surely don't want to go there on Valentine's day @ $17 per person. The food has always been good and fresh. One time we went in there and they asked "Lunch or Dinner", we said lunch. There was only one buffet, I wonder if it was cheaper. read more

Went here on a group outing with several friends. food was great, the occasional check ups were good, one of the downfalls was we were being watched the whole time, like we were going to steal the chairs or something. And by the time we had to leave the waitress was tipped but demanded more from other individuals. We didn't know what was the issue but she stormed off and threw her pen and had a mini tantrum. Also, you get charged $2 extra for getting a drink that's not water read more

This restaurant was amazing. I love the buffet and the food they serve there is great.

I want to say the prices are too high here in hopes that the owners will bring them down a dollar or two. In reality, it is an extensive buffet and the price is commensurate with the quality and variety of the food. Buffet is French for "Get up and get it yourself." The decor is nice and the staff are very friendly and inviting. Yes, I still would like the prices to come down a bit. Just a bit. Maybe a few cents. read more

Great food. Affordable. Most importantly for any restaurant... a clean bathroom. Go there.

went here and got food, waited 35 minutes for our server to come back to our table, i asked for a refill and she looked at me like i was stupid and said 'um sure' and brought my drink back half full. will not be returning to this establishment. read more

This was a quick trip for a to-go order of crab rangoons as we already had other plans for dinner. However I was in the area and could not resist grabbing some to take home. Their crab rangoons are cooked fresh but are deep fried triangles stuffed full of delicious crab and cream cheese mixture. I highly recommend these if you are even in the area. Our next trip will involve in going there to enjoy their buffet and crab legs, but that review will have to wait until next time. . read more

I have never rated a restaurant this low before. I ate lunch there today at around 12:30. The fried dumplings were cold and extremely greasy. I sampled the chicken and broccoli, the pepper steak, hot and sour soup, and teriyaki chicken. None of the items I sampled had any flavor. Each entree lacked even basic salt. The hot and sour soup had a strange flavor, there was an unidentified ingredient that puzzled me. Our server was very poor and sloppy. This was a horrible experience! read more

We love to go here because we all get the various things we like. Price is kinda high. The times we have gone the place was clean and not crowded. The salad bar could use a change in variety though but everything else is good. It's not for the health conscious. It has a large dining area, wait staff is always nice. I personally like the sushi and fried zucchini. Yum! read more

This place ROCKS!!! They have four big buffets filled with Chinese vegetables, beef, chicken, and several kinds of seafood, not to mention the best fried rice, won tons, egg rolls and seafood stuffed mushroom caps! AND DESSERT!!!! And FRUIT!!! And, as my 6-yr-old would say, "Ice cream, Mommy, ice cream!!!" The service is great and their hosts and servers are the best! I was dearly devoted to another Chinese restaurant in town (a sentimental favorite from my dating days that served awesome Mandarin Chicken) but had to split my love of Chinese food between the two because Kingdom Buffet is JUST THAT GOOD!!! I went once about 30 minutes before closing with my daughter to get take out and spent less than $20 and got So Much food that we couldn't even eat it all!! It fed not only us two, but my husband who came home late from work, as well, still with too much food for us. And let me tell you, WE CAN EAT!!!!! The guys from the kitchen never fail during my visit to ask how I like the food, and if they can make anything particular that I don't already see on the buffet. And talk about clean! There is never any stray food where people sloppily load up their plates, and no mess on the floor like you see at some other buffet places. I love this place more every time I go. And since my sentimentally favorite restaurant has closed down (R.I.P. ~sob~), Kingdom Buffet is the only place in town I'll ever eat Chinese! Love you guys, Don't Go Anywhere!!! :0) read more

Food is actually pretty good. However, they offer military discount, our bill was $46.93 and after showing our military ID the waitress deducts off $1.00. We were like how is that 10% off. She says even though we had 5 military people dining there, we only get 10% off 1 meal. Is that the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard. I guess next time we have to tell them separate bills so that each individual gets a $1.00 off their meal. SMH... read more

Three times now I have gone in after 4 pm for dinner and paid the dinner price to find the buffet half empty and the food that is there is dried out and obviously left over from lunch. One of the cooks brought a cart with refills for the mushrooms, mixed veggies and two other non protein containers. She hid a container of Chinese ribs back by the door to the kitchen. When I asked for one, I was told "no, no. dinner, dinner". I told her I was paying for dinner (and I did). I think this explains the mystery of the empty buffet. Obviously they are not filling the buffet with hot fresh proteins until they think the lunch crowd are gone. Since you pay when you leave and after 4 IS dinner price, I don't understand what the problem. This was Monday night and $10 for dinner. This is the last time I pay $10 for some bland dried out food. This also is not my first encounter with their "food police" Recently, I was there on Thursday after 4 pm which means the higher dinner price of $14. The container which should have had snow crab legs was empty. I asked the woman hovering over the buffet when they would be bringing out more crab legs and in an excited voice she told me "crab legs $2 more for dinner only $2 more". Again, I was paying the dinner price! Over the years, I have eaten there 3 or 4 times per month. The owner used to be there and when he was the buffet was always full and fresh and the kitchen not policing the buffet. The food was tasty. I have not seen him there in a long time. The food has become bland and the buffet frequently empty and dried out. Customer service is a joke! I have had it. I won't be back. read more
