They do their Cubans panini-style, pressed just right, and they've got a huge menu of similar pressed sandwiches to work your way through. It's the kind of spot where you immediately start planning what you'll try next before you've even finished what's in front of you. Their homemade green salsa is a standout. It's bold, spicy, and seriously flavorful, almost too good. Fair warning: if you go all in like I tend to, it can overpower everything else on your plate. Doesn't stop me from dipping every bite, though. Parking is easy, which is always a plus, and they've got both indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is relaxed, down-to-earth, and very much that "local mom-and-pop" feel done right. Overall, a really solid spot, especially if you're into pressed sandwiches and Cuban flavors. Definitely worth a visit.

Alright. The chick fil a review is due because i have HAD IT with this company. I don't go to this…read morelocation often and this review is mostly about chick fil a in general. As an individual with gluten free needs who lives in a society dominated by high prices and inflation i am royally pissed off that 100% of the time when i go to a chick fil a drive thru and order a gluten free bun i get home and have paid for the bun but also never receive the bun. The last instance was the straw that broke everything here. I refuse to shut up about it now and their corporate team even followed up with me and started lying about things in email before switching their story and finally giving me what I asked for: my measly little $1.70 refund to my original payment method. Here's what went down: - ordered sandwich with gluten free bun and paid for the items - did not receive what i paid for - called and complained, phone rep said they WOULD refund me - this lady named Yarielis M. Velez Ruiz (marketing director) emailed me and said they could NOT refund me and she wants me to drive to the location to process...uhh no not doing that thank you - instead of giving me money back wants me to download apps and provide personal info for food i don't want from them anymore - the marketing director communicated in email a refund was impossible....that is until i told her i would just open a ticket with my credit card company to let them handle it - all of a sudden a refund is on the table Why lie about it? Man i would have let this go a lonnnng time ago. It's just $1.70 but im reviewing based on principal at this point. Do t dig the hole deeper. Don't be shady and lie about stuff. lol it's wild. So yes. I am absolutely going all in on $1.70 because how dare you claim that i be a Christian establishment and then steal and lie your way through customer service all over $1.70. They would not leave me alone and they kept digging so here is the dig back and some pictures of the email chain to showcase the lies. All over $1.70 which man it's not a big deal but again! Principal of the matter vs serious issue for my wallet. Ya'll could have just done what i politely asked in the first place and we would not be here with a review. At the end of the day if you charge a customer for something and don't give it to them. It's theft. Then you want to lie about your ability to process a refund when it's just quite clear you didn't want to do it.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and my smoked brisket bowl was assembled quickly and exactly as I asked and delicious. I do agree with some of the points some other reviewers have made, the portion seemed somewhat small and for the price not a real good value for lunch - I had a small bowl with white rice, black beans, smoked brisket, shedded cheese and hot sauce and the total with a medium Coke was just under $17.00 without any add-ons. The food was very fresh and tasted great but not very filling, it's very likely I'll return when I want to change up things but not based on value. I decided to place an order for pickup honestly I wasn't aware that they even had a dining area inside which they do although it's rather small. I called in a "Hot Italian Combo Sub" and added jalapeños and without giving my name the young lady fielding my call told me she'd have it ready in ten minutes and hung up. As promised my sandwich was in the final assembly stage when I arrived - so after the cash transaction and the gratuity hitting the bottom of the tip jar I had my sandwich in hand - the staff was very friendly and definitely grateful for the business and as for me I was holding a foil wrapped sub in a white paper bag that I wouldn't unveil until returning to my office. The moment of truth - Wow!!! This was like no Hot Italian Sub I ever witnessed much less ever bitten in to and I admit after unwrapping it there was a little bit of shock and awe. I guess I was expecting sliced Italian meats dressed with everything every Italian Sub I've ever eaten has been. This mammoth sub was definitely hot and definitely spicy and was served up like a cheese steak but only it was actually Italian but not like "Italian Beef". After grabbing a few extra napkins and after posturing myself in the infamous "lean-in" position I went for it. This was such a complex combination of flavors and textures that I couldn't quite decide whether it was a simple hot mess or a genius creation, but it definitely lurked me in for a second bite while my taste buds went completely crazy. Based strictly on curiosity I'll have to return, although this place is aged and worn and should be cleaner and less cluttered I admit it's definitely a Deland institution of sorts and somehow has survived for years. As for the sandwich I'm still deciding if it was a masterpiece or if I was extremely hungry...
