Service is good as long as they're not busy. We were the only dine-in patrons and were told to grab a takeout menu and sit where we liked. We did the mental gymnastics of "do we order at the counter or will they come to us?" and the cashier must have been telepathic because she headed over a second later (the answer is it's preferred to order at the counter if they're busy). The food is decent for the cost with some highs and some lows. The Krab Don was fantastic and presented adorably. The spicy tuna roll had much needed tempura crunch inside which gives it a better texture than just minced tuna. The crunchy salmon roll tasted a little fishy and the shrimp in the shrimp and scallop hibachi was way overcooked though I give them kudos on the scallop not being overcooked. Hibachi veggies, noodles, miso and clear soups, and house salad all standard, nothing great but decent. The sushi rice was a bit dry and bland but I didn't get any nigiri so it might be better in quantity. They do thoughtful presentation, though, with carved veggies and cute wasabi leaf designs. It's very much a place you go to for value rather than quality. I'd equate the hibachi to what you'd get at the mall - decent and filling but nothing special. Sushi is on par with Publix but I believe at a better price point.
