We visit this place often, food is usually always cooked the same, portion sizes differ according to who dips it up. The main problem now is the soda machine doesn't (hasn't been) working the last few times we have been there. It has been this way when we have visited over the last several months. What gives??? Been here a handful of times, not super impressive location.... Staff is always half as*** or just dosent care. Couple have been rude and down right nasty. I haven't been since the last visit where the lady flat out yelled at my husband after he asked her to speak a little louder (he's deaf) and then just flat out ignored what he said and gave him whatever food she felt like because that's what she wanted to do apparently. I was able to order what he actually wanted and ate the random picks from her, whatever her deal was she was clearly having a crap day. Ordered a moble delivery where they messed up the order and gave us less Rangoon than we ordered. I called for a refund they told me u had to come by with a receipt at any time for the refund. I get there and they tell me they can not refund me because their manager isn't there and won't be there until Tuesday. This was one of my most disappointing experiences at a Panda Express location. There are several concerns I'm going to simply raise and hopefully with the right management this can be corrected soon. Brandon the food server showed no interest in providing any real service. His assessment of getting a proportionate amount of food on my order adequate for what I usually obtain. He also was interested in getting anything prepared for me either until i made a point that there was nothing left to order from. tin I witnessed a female server Rio taking food that was sitting in a to go box container during my wait time of over 10 minutes simply unboxing food and placing it back in the food serving tray. i really hate writing bad reviews. But It seems every time, no what time of the hours of operation, the food quality is always questionable. You may, or may not, get cold chow mein - that's if they have any sides when you order. The meat may or may not be cold. The serving size of entrees is fully dependent on the moods of their employees. Speaking of customer service, I usually don't require much. I've been on the other side of the counter many times. Sometimes you just have an off day as an employee. But the majority of the times I've gone to this establishment (yes, I've given them several times to try and redeem themselves), they' could care less about their customers, store cleanliness, or food quality. Terrible place. 1/10 would recommend. Don't waste your time unless major changes happen with how this establishment is managed. read more

When I get extra busy with stuff, I end up eating lunch later and then sometimes I start craving the Chinese fast food called Panda Express. That's what happened Friday before I needed to head to Hixson, so I decided to stop and treat myself to the yumminess of this special flavor combo: slightly crunchy string bean, tender sweet chicken, slightly spicy kung pao chicken, crispy perfectly seasoned chow mein. Maybe the soy sauce used in their cooking helps bring out the food flavors but it's a guarantee that I'll enjoy my lunch here every time. And the restaurant chain started out as a single kitchen in California and now has a test kitchen where new dishes are created first. So, it feels like I'm supporting a successful restaurant business story when I dine here and I get to try new dishes sometimes. Every time I have come to this particular location they never have teriyaki sauce or any other sauces. They run out of forks as well. Basically they are out of something guaranteed. Then when you tell them you are not going to buy the food since you can't add any sauce since they are out they get extremely rude. If I can give negative 5 stars I would. read more

The food is good and is fairly fresh and priced well. The people at this location generally have a good attitude. However, this is the second time I've been there in about as many weeks, and at least one of the teas was out of tea. Instead of checking consistently on the drinks, one has to go tell one of the employees a drink is out and needs to be attended to. This time, the tea had run out right just the busy evening meal was beginning. To their credit, one of the employees went to replenish the tea urn immediately this time. The last time, more than one person got a drink refund because they had wanted tea and the tea was out. NEVER run out of any tea before you are immediately replenishing it! Dinner meal rush hour was just beginning and the garbage was already running over. An employee, with a cigarette snapped in to her left ear, and a garbage bag in hand, went outside for a few moments -- while leaving the bag on top of the receptacle that was overflowing -- purportedly to take a few puffs. She came back in (cigarette no longer between her ear and head) and left the new bag on top of the garbage receptacle, while the unreplaced overflowing bag of garbage was still left overflowing. It remained that way the whole time I was there -- and they were not even very busy at the time. Big issue in these days of politicization: YOU NEVER HAVE CNN ON A SCREEN WITHOUT FOX NEWS on the opposing TV...NEVER. This is unacceptable, and it makes it look as though Panda Express is making a political statement. If that is what you want to do, that is OK, but don't expect me as a returning customer. NEVER have CNN on without having FOX NEWS on at the same time. You have two TVs side by side, have both or none!!! At least Panda Express has yet to take away the straws for a sippy cup lid that has more plastic than the straws.... read more

For the second time in a row food wasn't prepared when I came in after 11. This time both my side choices, white rice and greens, were unavailable. Other entrees were visibly missing, though the ones I wanted were available. I'm done with this place. The food is good when they have it. The problem is they are usually out of food. Last 3 times I've come here at 8:30 on Friday and Saturday nights and their kitchen was already closed. Business hours says open until 9:30pm. Orange chicken and Angus steak were the only dishes left. I got the last of the steak. The 2 people behind me left without ordering. Waited in a long drive through line and they are out of white rice AND brown rice but you don't know that until you try to order. The young lady said they were not cooking any more. So I.ask for a refund. She said the manager was not there and the two young ladies working were new amd did not lnow how to give a refund. I had the worst experience at this location. I waited almost 40 minutes for my food, was told the orange chicken was out and would need to wait 7 minutes (and then ended up waiting almost 20), and was treated very rudely by the mostly young and unprofessional girls working there. The customer service was awful, and when we did finally get our food it was mediocre at best. Third time getting food here and while the food tastes great the service is HORRIBLE. The first time I went through the drive through no problem. Second time ate in and some of the more popular dishes were completely out and they were not ahead of the game by already having those dishes cooking. This time I ordered online to pick up in the drive through and waited nearly 30 mins for my food and ended up having to go inside to finally get it. When I went in the manager was not apologetic for the wait and was less than friendly with me. Great service today although only 2..yes 2 employees..working front and drive through (while 2 others were cooking). These ladies did an exceptional job during this busy lunch rush. Why order online if the only way to pick up is through the drive through line???? Seriously can you not have someone walk it out or at least let people in to pick it up one at a time? Their food is average but since this whole quarantine thing started we're kind of running out of choices. My biggest complaint is that I ordered online (as instructed to do by the recorded message when I called ahead) and when I got to the restaurant (on time) I have still been sitting in the drive thru line for 20 minutes and will likely be here at least another 20 based on the amount of cars in front of me. Then when you try to call (and actually try to talk to a human voice) you listen to an automated recording that just reads the menu to you. Eventually it puts you through to a "store representative" ...except it doesn't. It rang for 2 minutes straight and then hung up on me! Where is the customer service? Or any kind of service for that matter. P.S. .... and it gets better. After 45 minutes in line, and 1 and a half hours after i originally ordered my food (and 40 minutes after the time I was told it would be ready) the food wasn't even ready! Plus when I checked the order, they didn't give me the full order. I was missing an entire meal and my sons drink he ordered. Ridiculous! You can do better Panda Express. Love Panda Express and this one lives up to the reputation. The worst part is parking. They share with the next door restaurant I guess but you can always park at the mall. The line is long on a Sunday afternoon (must mean it's worth waiting for!). Food was fresh and available. The place to go for fast food Chinese where you know what to expect. I get Double Orange Chicken with Fried Rice and Chow Mein. Not on the menu above the counter but shows they will accommodate special requests. Both my husband and I wanted the super greens. There were barely any there ,it wouldn't of been enough for both of us. Also they looked super old. The woman on the speaker let us guess at what options they still had before finally rudely naming the two things they had left. after that we moved on to drinks. Stopped by today around 5pm. Ordered and went to pay. The lady at the check out didn't put the card in the slider the right way which declined it. She then did it the same way and it declined again. She manually entered the numbers and it still declined. After waiting 20 minutes to speak with our bank we were told it was because she ran it wrong so many times and it declined that they froze our account so we left for cash out of the ATM and came back. Before we had left the total was $30 and when we returned it was $18 when asked about the difference she said she didn't know what we were talking about that the $18 was accurate. We got the same food that was made 30+ minutes earlier so all of it was cold. Won't be returning! This location is awful compared to the one in Nashville. read more

My husband and I eat out quite often. We will eat in and we will also get take-out. By eating out as much as we do I can honestly say that we have a good idea of what is good and what is bad AND this was not bad ...it was AWFUL! I have never said that before in any review that I have done! There have been some that were not so good and some that were outstanding but none that were this bad! We only had to drive 5 minutes (if that). The food was ice cold, it looked and tasted like it had been cooked the day before and just put up to use for the next day. It was so dry! There was no, and I mean no sauce, with the what little bit of chicken I got and the beef that my husband got. My husband said to call them and tell them about it. I used to love Panda Express. Their food is normally good. I like their broccoli beef, string bean chicken and power greens, etc. I've been trying to eat healthier this year. But I can never get food at this location. I do work a challenging schedule from 10pm until 10 am. They open at 10:30 am, supposedly anyway, but they never have food available until after 11 am. So I can't stop here on my way home from work unless I want to sit there for thirty minutes watching other customers come in and leave because they don't have any food ready. So today I wasted some time and got here a few minutes after 11 and they didn't have any of the healthier entrees available and it was going to be a thirty minute wait until they had anything ready. The food had obviously been there for a long time. The noodles and rice both were hard and dry. The orange chicken was soggy and rubbery. The mushroom chicken was good but it appeared to have been just freshly made. And the dining area was nasty. It was just not a good experience at all. This was my first time ever trying to eat at a Panda Express. I ordered online to speed things up and arrived at the designated pickup time. I had to flag someone down to make sure I was in the correct spot because there is no sign stating where to pick up online orders. I was told I was in the correct spot and the girl walks off and leaves me standing there. 5 minutes later another girl walks up and asks if I had an online order, she finds my receipt and tells me she would have to get it together. I continue to stand there another 20m being ignored while other customers are being served. The cook in the back is trying to get someone to help me but they aren't acknowledging him either. After I had to ask for my order again another girl (who had just returned from break) was told to get it together. She gets the order ready, walks over to the area where I am standing, and slams the bag down on the counter. Never says thank you, no apology for me having to wait so long....nothing....she slammed it down and walked off. 30+ minutes after entering the building I was able to leave. I can't comment on how the food tastes because I missed my lunch break and was late returning to work. This location can take some pointers from Chik Fil A because I can order it from the parking lot and they bring it to my car within minutes. I will not be returning to this location. read more
