This is the second time that when I asked for a plate for my little one to eat from, I was handed a dirty plate. This time the plate was used and written on. We go to this Panda only because my little one loves noodles. We used to go to the Panda that was on Plummer but it closed unfortunately. I was always happy with their service. If I'm handed dirty plates or employees handling cash at the register then grab a handful of fortune cookies and place on top of a clean plate, it makes me question food safety and hygiene. Update: Assistant manager offered to correct the matter after a phone call was made asking for the manager's name for survey. read more

Panda Express - Was handed this plate to serve my little one her food on. - Chinese Near Me - Chatsworth, California

I wanted to give this place like 10's. The food was fresh!! Other Panda Express locations have the food under that hot lamp, wasting away like a person lost in the desert, begging for a drop of water. Not this place! The food looked and smelled good from the jump. It made me want to try something new and not just go for the teriyaki chicken per-usual. I had the Orange Chicken and the black pepper chicken. The Orange Chicken sause didn't have the consistency of molasses so that's a win. The vegies in the Black pepper chicken had a good crunch and not a soggy slush, win number two. Also the cashier had like 8 hands and the patients of a saint. Between the screaming children, long line and crusty kid asking for an extra bag she had it all under control. read more

We go to panda a lot! The hubby and I love this food. Since we are on the road a lot and have no time to pack up lunch or dinner we will come in for some fresh delicious food. They never disappoint we are always eating from panda. read more

I was so bummed out that they didn't have the crispy almond chicken today, however, Christopher customer service is unbeatable. Throughout any fast food business I've ever been to... Christopher holds the title. I'm surprised this dude isn't the regional manager yet. He brings so much fun and enthusiasm to the customers and his co-workers. The energy is shown, the service is there, the smiles are there. Definition of an example employee! read more

This place is the worst they close the kitchen down an hour early and don't even have most of there stuff filled up to even do that it's one thing if it's 30min before you close and do that but an hour before honestly I'm just done with Panda Express they need better employees. read more

Best Panda in Cali, period, and I've been to them all. And the staff there are all beautiful ladies with senses of humor. Always beautiful smiles from them all, as I see them often. A++ for the food service. read more

Smallest portions of any Panda Express I've ever been to. I'm convinced the servers are allowed to take home any food they don't dish out. And if you order delivery, good luck. read more

When you order food through their online pick-up, make sure to check the contents of the bag(s) before you leave the store. I do not order food from Panda Express often, but the last two times I did ordered it was 3X teriyaki chicken plates and both times they fail to include teriyaki sauce. We're not talking about extra sauce. They only gave grilled chicken. The 1st time it happened, I just ignore it and used teriyaki sauce that i had at home. But today, they left out the sauce again. Both times, I tried calling the store, but they never pick-up the phone, so only option is for me to drive back to the store to get the sauce. If this is their way of saving cost, just call it as what it is on their menu ........grilled chicken-unless you ask for sauce or return to the store and complain. For me, it is just annoying and won't order anymore. read more

Order was completely wrong and the kids were not closed on the containers. Nobody is answering the phone. How are you going to make this right? $50 of food ruined. read more

Food was great but the employee was really rude and the place was packed. It also wasn't clear where the line started but that might be a little nitpick-y. I'd rather go to the location closer to northridge in the future. read more

I've never had any complaints from any Panda Express ever in my life, EXCEPT for this location every single time I come here. I've even tried not coming here for months, but my order never changes, and neither does their ignorance when it comes to cooking cream cheese rangoons. The last 8 times I've ordered, they never have them ready so you have to wait 5-6 minutes while the rest of your food sits and gets cold. Then they like to burn them so they're black and extra crispy on the edges because they don't go by "timers", and quite frankly I don't think they even know what a timer is! I also ordered teriyaki chicken which they didn't ask if I wanted the sauce on the side or not, doesn't matter to me either way... but when you get home and have 2 sauces and they literally filled them each with only ONE TEASPOON of sauce that won't even cover but ONE BITE of chicken, that's disturbing. Are they worried about loss of profit? Because they rounded my .25 cents up to a dollar when they rang me out, so there's already an extra .75 cents they got out of me. I go back and return the rangoons and she gave me $1.64. Ummm they're $1.95 last time I checked, but i didn't have the patience to sit and argue over cents. So I come back for the 1st time in 9 months, because I have 2 coupons. One free rice bowl + BOGO rice bowls, so that would be 3 bowls with 2 coupons. We are a family of 3, and as I was ordering, the male associate told me I can't use both coupons in a single transaction. No problem I think... my 4-year old is with me. I said she can use the free bowl and I will use the BOGO & we can do 2 separate transactions. He said no, they can't do that. I said "Why? She's going to use one for herself and I will use the other for me and my husband." He said no again. I said "Are you telling me that she is NOT a person?" He shook his head and continued to say he can't take the coupons. I repeated the question again and he continued to make the "I don't know gesture"‍ I told him I will be taking this up with the corporate office, because we are two separate "people." I ended up walking out ordering nothing, and forgetting these past 9 months why I really should never go back ever again!! The worst part is that when we got in the car, my daughter says to me: "Mama, do they think I'm a dog?" read more

This has to be the most stingy Panda Express I've ever gone to. Never coming back to this location again. The lady filling the plate literally took food out of my plate to put back into their plater. When I asked if I could get a little more (literally gave half the portion ) she said she couldn't and would have to charge for an extra side. Very rude very poor customer service. GO TO THE PANDA EXPRESS BY CSUN!!! read more

The Food is just bad , the cashier especially the Asian girl SO ANNOYED, asking for donations repeatedly.

2 thumbs down. Service sucks. I bought 5 meals, added egg rolls, didn't get a single pack of soy sauce or chilli sauce. And no sauce for the egg rolls. For a few bucks more I can order from a chinese restaurant. Will NOT be returning! read more

This pands express gets pretty busy. The food tastes good and the portions aren't too bad. I guess it just depends on who is serving that day. I have noticed that some other locations have different entre options, more variety sometimes. All and all it gets the job done. Parking is usually not a problem and the cistomer service is good. Its not uncommon to wait for an item because they run out. I've experienced this numerous times. read more

This place is disgusting and I asked for a plat and all they gave me was a bowl of food !! One scoop of everything not one and a half or 2, 1 scoop my plat was empty and there was not 14$ of food in that plat this has happened 2 times I will not be going back ever!! I have been to different pandas and have had a full plat or a little less but nothing like this place 0/5 read more

I will never go into this Panda Express ever again and I hope they go out of business. The cashier ignored my questions and walked away like she was busy when there were no customers behind me. I experienced nothing but bad attitudes from all of the miserable workers here. The portions of food given are skimpy with hardly any meat. They are a total rip off for the price when all you get is a ton of rice. read more

I did a phone order for pick up and they forgot to put the honey walnut shrimp. I called to let them know and they said I can come in anytime and they'll give me a medium honey walnut shrimp for the inconvenience. I decided to come and pick it up, but they only gave me a small. I told the lady that it was suppose to be medium but she didn't listen and kept insisting that it was just a small. Very bad customer service. read more

Been here numerous times over the last 5-6 years. I've never had problems with service or staff. Everyone seems efficient and helpful. They will even ask if I want to wait to get a fresher entree. It's fast food and convenient. You can't really expect too much. read more

Today I was at this Panda Express. My bill was $18.40. The cashier asks if I wanted to donate one dollar. I said not this time. She then asked if I wanted to donate the 60 cent difference in my bill and again I said not this time. I gave her a $20 dollar bill and said that she didn't have any change, but I could donate the 60 cents. I again said that I didn't wish to donate. She then said well, I'll just round UP your bill and charge you $19.00. So because either the Manager or the Owner is too lazy to go and get change for the business. So instead, Panda Express STOLE 60 cents from me. Someone should be arrested for theft. I will go to a different store from now on and I will file a complaint with LAPD and with Panda Express Corporation. read more

I pre-ordered my food to be picked up... And literally got five pieces of shrimp in my bowl. $8.00 for a bowl is fine if you give enough. So lame to short change Togo orders cause you don't know your screwed think you get home. LAME!! That picture is before I have even taken a bite. Fill up the damn bowl!! read more

This is the 2nd but will be the last time that I will order from them!! I ordered food from Postmates. The guy gave us the wrong order. Argued when we told him it was wrong. We ordered food for 3 people. It was 1 plate. Wrong name??. I went to Panda to tell them we paid for. Order was wrong we never for out order. Now last time they replaced it. This time this manager look like a high schooler that had no customers service skills. He would not honor or ordered and replace it. They just allowed the driver to steal our food. This is the third time I buy food from Panda Express on Devonshire and Mason within the past four weeks and each time I have asked for the sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls I am purchasing and also one teriyaki sauce on the side, and even though the employees hear me clearly and say, "sure", they have failed to give the sauces each time. It's pretty upsetting!!!! Don't think I will go back again to this location where employees are neglectful! read more

I'm actually LOVING this location! Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Fresh and yummy food. So much better than a strip mall or food court! Nice community atmosphere! Also had a HUGE television on for an extra home style vibe. It's Panda Express. Your kids love it! Adults will too. read more

bro stop sending teriyaki without any teriyaki sauce its too dryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I don't really get all the negative reviews of this place, but my take on it is that the portion that they give you is pretty small. Other than that the customer service that I always got when I was here has been pretty decent. Good place if you're craving quick Chinese food. You can't really compare a fast food chain for Chinese food for the local ones around you, cause you know those are always somewhat going to be better read more

Local panda can't ever go wrong with this establishment. Quick ready semi fresh food. The line is fairly always good flowing. Love how reliable panda is, especially with my personality being spontaneous. Was on the road getting some power ball lotto and next thing my mind hit me and I directed to go to panda. I was in and out in 10 minutes with hot ready food. Thanks panda we will meet sooner than later. read more

Do not eat here. I bit into a piece of RAW mushroom chicken last night. We took the food back to the store and the manager didn't care in the least, but after a few back and forth's, reluctantly agreed to refund our money. Terrible costumer service! They didn't even throw out the rest of the batch of chicken, I wonder how many other people ate raw chicken as well. I hope I don't get too sick...please don't eat here, go to a different Panda if you must. read more

What kind of fast food restaurant actually WEIGHS your damn food?!?!? Well... This Panda Express does.... How lame is that shizz! Occasionally I would go here during lunch for a quick stop of some orange chicken, steamed rice and spring rolls.... But man, talk about being TIGHT with their shit. They pretty much spoon measure the amount they give you and on top of that, they have a weighing scale next to the cash register to weigh your order. What the F!!! It's a Panda Express, food is mediocre, service is the same as you'd go to a McDonalds but at least McDonalds doesn't weigh my Big Mac with fries... Oh and again, this place is at a plaza, so come earlier before 12pm cause this place is swarmed with people who think Panda Express is real Chinese food. read more

My boyfriend and I eat here and are always dissatisfied. last night we went and his orange chicken was as hard as a rock/burnt/old, and he had a stomach ache all night. He ended up throwing it away. Hell yeah. 2 stars. Saids it all. Lived in chatsworth for 15+ years and this panda express SKIMPS on entre portions really bad. Like, the employees are trying to take the leftovers home or something. Seriously quit your jobs and parasite somewhere else, panda express employees, acting like the food is coming out of your check. Smh. Real story: i got a 2 entre plate with fried rice. It feels like the inside of my mouth is coated in oil after eating... gah... I don't know why I keep coming here. Most of the time I can't taste anything over the oil flavor anyway. I placed my order online for pickup (figured it will be quicker) which it was OK but was disappointed at the choices that were given since they actually serve more items on their menu then what was available online to choose. Basically you have a limited selection when it comes to online ordering. I dont know who creates the menu online but in store there are more choices to pick as my favorites were not listed online when i ordered. The other reason i gave this place 1 star was because the computer didnt print out all my orders. Another reason was the portion of food which i felt like could be more. And lastly isnt grilled chicken teriyaki supposed to be grilled? Look at my photo of their "GRILLED" chicken...it looks like they just boiled it!!!! read more

Gosh, I really hate that it has come to this, but being a local and a fan of Panda for like 10 years country-wide... and more particularly a frequent customer at this location, meaning at least once a month minimum for the last year and a half, it saddens me to make this review, but I went there for lunch just now with my hubby, and WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO YOUR FOOD?!!?! This place USED to be pretty good (not the BEST Panda Express ever or I would have left a positive review in the past, but still, it was good enough to keep going back to). Unfortunately, the last couple times I have gone there, the food has completely disappointed me, but today it was just HORRIBLE!!! I got the samurai surf & turf a la cart and not only did it taste like it had been sitting there for 7 hours, but the beef actually tasted like the meat was expired! It had this weird, sour taste and I couldn't even eat it. It's quite unfortunate considering I live and work right down the street, but due to this experience today (and the less than great experience last time), I have officially given up on this particular Panda Express, throwing in the towel. Hopefully new management or a new owner or something will take over soon and SAVE this place. (On a side note, the way they handle the lines and the way you have to walk through the line to get to drinks and condiments is soooo inconvenient... you guys need a makeover, or just, new management.) read more

I can't believe some of the negative comments I have read. The place was perfectly clean (A rating), the staff were attentive and helpful and the food is good.
