We arrived around 4:30 pm and the dining room was roughly 1/2 full with a robust wrap in drive-thru. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who quickly took our order, then repeated it back perfectly. The kitchen was in a fervor, bustling to satisfy all the orders (really, a hard working team). We obtained our drink cups and the large, typical drink station was nicely stocked with a nice array of soft drinks to choose from. The odd thing to me is that whenever I've eaten at any other location in the past, I think the longest I've ever waited for my meal has been maybe 9 minutes, tops. No matter the time of day or night. We waited 23 minutes for our meals. It seemed that drive-thru is priority, then to-go, then dine-in. The animal style fries were pretty good, though I'm used to it being slathered with more sauce. Thankfully, I was able to get a few sauce packets and gleefully doused to my delight. However, the bun of my burger was so over toasted! The buns were actually hard and crunchy. I'm not used to that. The burger tasted like before but it was dry and overcooked as well. The lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese were very fresh and flavorful. My husband had the same experience with his burger as I did. Tables were not wiped down and the condiment station was out of almost everything when we got there. They didn't refill all the cups, chilis, etc. until right before we left. I really wanted to love my visit, but after this experience, and all the convincing to entice my husband there with this result, it's unlikely we will be back.

It was always busy every time I stopped in. With my new kidney, I wanted to be cautious with the amount of people I'm around. Now that Raising Canes has been open for a hot minute, I felt like the crowd to be a lot smaller and safer for me to be inside the dining area. Greg helped us today at the register. He was really patient with us since it was my husband's first time eating there. I snagged the 3 piece naked combo and my husband got the chicken sandwich. He is a cheese lover so he was bummed that he couldn't add cheese to his sandwich but he still had high hopes that it will be good. My husband's meal did come out first. For some reason they dropped the ball on my meal. There were quite a few people that got their meals ahead of me that ordered after us. I wasn't sweating it but I knew Greg was on top of it. As soon as my food was ready, Greg hand delivered my meal which was nice since they usually call you up to grab your food. It was nice that Greg made sure we were aware that he didn't forget about me. What I noticed last time I ate at RC was how small the tenders were when you ordered them naked. The menu is mostly sandwiches with a few appetizers and salads. Booths line the restaurant, with tables and metal chairs in the center. Restaurant is extremely clean. All the tables have a mason jar of fresh flowers. They have paper napkins with real cutlery. There is a large room adjacent to the restaurant that they are converting to a bar. It comes on a ciabatta roll with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. The roll was slightly toasted. The chicken is accompanied with a pesto sauce which I put on the side. I think the chicken is marinated. It had a delicious flavor and very moist. I accompanied it with the french fries. They are beer battered and I asked for extra crispy. Ask for the fry sauce. It is a ketchup, mayonnaise, horseradish mixed with spices. Absolutely delicious. My suggestion for the sandwich would be to melt the cheese. Mine came out, not melted just sitting on top of my chicken sandwich. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with the extra crispy fries. He said the roll was buttered and it made the entire meal.
