According to this Yelp listing and their Google listing, the Boulder City Panda Express is open until 9pm. I showed up at 8pm and was denied entry and was told they were closed. There were several customers inside and a car in the drive-thru. I watched an employee unlock the door just long enough to let a customer couple out with their take away food and that was it. If you want to close at 8pm, then change your posted hours of operation. I was only coming here because I got a coupon in the mail. I won't be back. We stopped here for a late lunch on our way home from CA to AZ. It was a Saturday around 4pm and not too busy. There were plenty of tables available to sit at, and the dining room and bathrooms were clean. This location also had a drive thru which is convenient. I ordered a bowl with chow mein and orange chicken and then a medium side of chow mein. It was 10:50am and there was no line for the drive thru so I assumed it would be fresh and quick. I pulled up to the window to pay and I watched the lady scoop my bowl. She then asked me to pull forward to wait. A whole 10-15 minutes goes buy so I circle back around and she says they're waiting on the chowmein. I finally get my food and when I open it, my bowl was just the old bottom of the bowl vegetables that were also now cold. The side I got of chowmein was for someone else so I waited 15 minutes just to have cold gross veggies. I'm so irritated and hate that panda is always a hit or miss or I have to go inside to order and babysit. My kids wanted rice and we were in the area, so stopped here since they have a drive through. I was blown away with how fresh the food was! Everything was hot and fresh you could tell. We came at 1 pm on a Tuesday afternoon even. The orange chicken was crispy and saucy. The veggie spring rolls were crispy. The steamed rice and fried rice was hot and moist, so the rice was sticky. They finally put someone else on the phone and she argued with me about what I ordered. I told her I have my receipt in front of me and she finally agreed they screwed up. And what I remember it being when it opened the first location in Henderson. Spot on. The flavors and portions and size. BITE size chicken not huge nasty pieces. The restaurant was clean. Outside was clean. Soda 10 out 10. Whoever manages this- keep these employees! Keep your chef! They had a special chef dish and it was good. I like they gave him an opportunity to make his own dish. But recently they've decided to now charge for every little thing that they can only give you two packets of soy sauce which doesn't even cover a quarter of what you get! Ridiculous!! The food is usually pretty good every time I go although they run out of most menu items well before close and do not offer to make it. I'm writing this review because there's a female who works there who always talks over her coworkers and it is quite rude. For example, they will begin to greet you over the speaker in drive-thru but she just interrupts them. I have called her out on it and she just denies it. I've been to so many different Panda Express locations but this location is by far the worst. I ordered my food thru the drive-in so I couldn't see how fresh the food was (or in my case lack of freshness). The teriyaki chicken was dry. The honey walnut shrimp is so moist the crust is peeling off the shrimp, and finally the super greens is so wet the broccoli and kale crumbles and not crunchy. On top of it they gave me very small portion compared to the other locations anywhere! Such a disappointment because I love Panda Express food.
