Worst customer service. On 4/21 this store had only males working and they were acting very unprofessional within each other fighting over orders and they were rude to customers. This place runs so smoothly. Service is always friendly and orders come out fast and correct. Honestly, I'm surprised anyone had a less than great experience here since I'm always happy with everything at this location. The inside is clean and spacious and everything is well-stocked. They were out of the two items we wanted when we cane in so we waited for them to cook more. A lot of other people came in while we waited and we were worried we were going to be forgotten so after a while I went back up to the counter. Jena recognized me and got our order together without me having to say a word. Shes a good employee who seems like she on of top of things and takes the time to actually look at customers and remember their orders. Black pepper chicken was pretty undercooked. Hands down best parking lot in Bastrop to get in a fight. For my money it's Panda Express. The chances on getting food poisoning are in the double digits so anyone going there either has an iron stomach or is a complete idiot. Combine that with the drive thru that holds at most 3 cars so all the "bastrop drivers" block the parking lot for the inside customers. Don't come here. Worst experience I have ever had at a panda. First thing pulling in they put chairs in 90 percent of the parking spots for no apparent reason. We are standing in line waiting to order and they fill 3 orders before ours making everything we wanted unavailable. We then wait and sit at our table as they make the orange chicken. We had ordered a plate with rice and chow mein when we got our food the bowl we watched her put both in came back with just rice. After they put the orange chicken on the line they continued to help 6 other people while the rest of our food was getting cold. Overall terrible experience. I love their food. The last time I ate there I got the orange chicken. It was delicious. I also got another order to go which was spicy. I think it was called General Tao's chicken or something like that. I had the noodles with both. It was a delightful change from rice since I eat a lot of rice. The young man who waited on me was very helpful and accommodating since I was trying to help my sister who is in a wheelchair and couldn't easily carry the food as well. There are a lot of good Pandas out there, but this one has been a constant letdown for us. It is commonly short on food items, ice, or straws. Lately, the orange chicken has been dry and soy sauce soaked -- or half of the entree is small pebbles of fried batter. Other storefronts do a far better job with food taste and portions, but we have decided to stop visiting this one. I hope they get things together soon. read more
