Husband and I went this past Wednesday and to say the least service was awful. There were 4 people working. 1 was cook and 2 were serving food and 1 was I guess the cashier. She wasn't doing much. We waited and waited to be served. They were so busy with Door Dash orders. There was at least 5 groups of people in line waiting to be served. The poor cook could hardly keep up. As soon as she put something down it was gone for the Door Dash orders. They really need to rethink the order from which they serve the customers. Ordered a bowl, a plate and an extra side and I've been waiting 30 minutes already. Nothings prepped, they're out of everything and no one seems to be taking charge. It's not busy which is what's frustrating about the situation. When you walk in there's a sign about a general manager position and the benefits included. Hopefully they find help soon, they need it. Won't be coming back to this location. I'd have my food faster if I drove to Paso Robles and back. read more

This place is very inconsistent between quality of staff and food. Some days the food is good and there is enough of everything, staff is very pleasant other times its a crazy mess, food is not good and staff are rude. I'd rather make the drive to paso. I like Panda Express - but this evening's experience was less than stella! I ordered 2 bowls (had coupon BOGO) one was rice with broccoli beef the other chow mein w/green bean chicken. Both entrees were in progress of being prepped - she said it would be 5 mins. 15 mins later I'm still waiting. We finally got our food and came home to eat - my son's bowl - broccoli beef was fine but mine not so much - the green bean chicken had 10 lg. pieces of onion, 15+ green beans an 5 tiny bites of mushy chicken - good thing I like green beans. I left a previous text where I was going to give them another visit hoping they had worked some of the links out since it was a new business. Tried again today and it's worse. They had no fried rice and no one was cooking. If I wanted to wait they would make some. Most entrees were almost gone or empty. Workers standing around not noticing empty stations. First time I went there everything was dry. I figured it was because they just opened up the location, I went there tonight and they forgot part of my order and again my noodles and chicken were dry. Panda Express in Atascadero is horrible. They either don't have but two items to choose from or what they have is cold. On their website it says they open at 10:30 a.m., but just went there and a sign in the window says we will open at 11:00 a.m.. They really need to get their stuff together. Won't go there anymore. read more

The staff is rude as hell!! They are slower than DMV employees and just as rude! Last time I'll ever come here. The food seems to be inconsistent and I have gotten sick to my stomach from the chicken more than once. (Maybe was left out too long?). Either way, the customer service (or lack there of) was absolutely insulting. I would rather visit a shady Korean bbq and eat half rotten dog and puke my guts out for a week than go back to this panda location. The rude girls working here should be fired. Come on panda, work on hiring the right people. Bad staff will kill your business faster than being short handed. And get with the program, you guys have got to be the only place turning business away for not wearing a mask. Nobody else in town is enforcing a non enforceable mandate. Hello. I have a been a big fan of Panda Express and enjoy many of the dishes. Tonight I had a horrible customer service experience that has changed my mind about Panda express standards and quality of the food at the Atascadero, CA location. I came in for beef and broccoli and noted that the current dish was not looking good. It had wilted and soggy broccoli and little beef present. The server said it would be 7 minutes to make a new one and I stepped to the side so he could serve other customers. This server C*** was very messy and haphazard with his job duties . One customer ordered orange chicken and we both noticed that the server only put half a scoop in the box. When the customer pointed out his serving size and asked for more, the server said No it will be extra thats what we give. The customer did not argue further and I felt bad for him. When it came to my turn to get my beef and broccoli, they proceeded to give me the old portion instead of the freshly made order that I waited for. I told them I wanted the fresh items and he said the old portion is fresh and whatever was my opinion did not matter. I asked to speak with a supervisor to which I was told there was none present. After insisting one finally appeared but only directed me to call the number on the receipt. It makes me wonder about how this location shortchanges the customer with portion size and old food. read more

I've enjoyed Panda for many years. We have ordered from this new location a handful of times, very disappointing! Chowmein has many more onions than other locations. The beef and broccoli had two strips of beef in the order & the green bean chicken was extremely lite on the chicken. We would not recommend this location. read more

If I could give - 10 stars I would, an then some! I've been a Panda customer for some time mostly San Luis Obispo and Paso, so I was excited when they opened the Atascadero location being closer to home. That being said, I could go on and on but it's not worth it, this is a review is built on multipe visits. To put it simply this place and employees is the worst ever, and I can't reiterate the "worst" enough!! Apparenlty it's a hangout for these young kids that could care less about customer service or the quality/freshness of the food (terrible Panda reprisentation) ie... forgotten items in orders, bottom of the barrel food offerings, always out of a particular item, or just the cold dried out scaps sitting under the heat lamps for god knows how long, and god forbid you have them make something fresh (roll of the eyes) and to top it off the terrible (with an attitude) customer service. Literally could care less!!! My most recent experience (shame on me for going once again) I returned a take out order that was missig 2 items when I got home, (once again I guess it was my fault, right?) upon returning the female clerk made it seem as though it was my fault, that I had my head up my ass, seriously?? No "I'm sorry" at the bare miniumum, "how can we fix it", "can we give you a free eggroll etc.." absolutely nothing, zero, zilch, other than a bad attitude!! WAS BLOWN AWAY!! I will never come here again, and I'm sure they could care less. If you work hard for your money and expect to atleast get somewhat decent food and somewhat at the most basic customer service, then don't waste your time and hard earned money here, you'll be greatly dissapointed and disrepected!!! read more
