I hadn't had Jack in the Box for probably 10 years. No particular reason, just happen to go to Taco Bell and Burger King when I do select fast food. But with a TMobile Tuesday deal I checked them out again. I found their Jumbo Jack to be tasty and fresh tested 2 days in a row and also ordered their curly fries, also tasty. Solid for fast food. Right off the Santa Rosa Exit, next to Starbucks, is Jack in the Box. Haven't been here in years. The wait wasn't long. I ordered the Cluck Sandwich, Lg Curly Fries, Lg Coke with easy ice. I tried the Onion Rings and Chick-N-Tater Melt. The Cluck sandwich was heavily breaded and seasoned, fried white breast meat. The newer sauce was good, but needed a little more. It was a little dry. The pickles added a nice sweetness, and bite/snap. It was good, but in a fast food way. The Curly Fries were typical. Salty, spicy/tangy and not super hot (could've been fresher.) They did easy ice with the Coke, which is a plus. The Onion Rings were tied with Sonics, for the best in Fast Food, but these weren't sweet, like Sonics. Once again, they also could've been fresher. And finally for the most confusing, the Chick-N-Tater Melt. Honestly, I found myself wanting to take more bites, but at the same time thought it wasn't that good. Idk. The croissant was soft and kinda just melts in with the gooey cheese/sauce they use. Creates a substantial thick, gooey, fatty, and creaminess. I didn't have the bacon on it, but that would've just made it fatter and greasier. The potatoes from the hash brown and the breaded processed chicken patty created this thick, salty, chicken, potato, and old school taste. I liked it and didn't at the same time, weird. This might be the worst Jack in the Box in America. Service is terrible and the food quality may be worse. I live down the street from this place and continued to give a chance and every time it disappoints. I don't know who owns this location but I would pay close attention the food quality because the last few times I've eaten here it's been cold or tastes like it's been sitting out all day. Everytime I come here it's about a 15 minute wait. No line. So if you want a quick fast food this is nit the place. Workers seem nice but just super slow. Especially when you have a baby that needs to eat and class to attend in less than an hour. read more

I just ALWAYS have to get my fast-food cravings in. Since the significant other won't help me cook, when he's out, I'm out getting my food on. Wasn't crowded at all at 1 pm. The sign on the front door is misleading, saying "DINING ROOM IS CLOSED". I asked the drive thru about the dining room situation and they said you can eat inside. Since no cars were ahead of me I told her I will order and eat inside. Today was a 2 tacos day. I just really like them. But I have to say the one here has gone down tremendously. I was there the other day ordered my food drove up too the window the young lady that was helping us just reached out her hand for my card didn't say anything. So I was like OK no big deal next she hands me my card back same thing not a single word then she just hands me my bag of food not even a here's your stuff not even asking if we want sauce not even have a good day. They're the slowest fast food place in town even when there isn't a line in the drive though. So only go if you have time to spare. And they have a really hard time hearing/understanding you through the speaker. Not the friendliest staff either. I only go for the tiny tacos and curly fries. read more

Look, I don't expect much from a fast food chain. I don't expect minimum wage workers to smile or be friendly; they have a hard job and are wildly under paid. I don't expect the food to wow me. I hate it when I get home to find my order is either missing an item I ordered, or something else I didn't order. We went to Jack in the box and ordered jumbo jacks on our way south. Got on the road, opened the bag and had 2 of some kind of breakfast sandwiches. Went there today, ordered onion rings with other items. Got home, no onion rings, but some kind of a sandwich consisting of chicken on a dry bun with 1 small pickle that we did not order. If we go back, I apologize if it holds up the drive through, but we will not leave the drive through window until I have taken everything out of the bag and confirm the order is complete and accurate. We went to the drive through one afternoon. There was a long line (to be expected), but noticed that people were honking and not getting food. They just drove on out. When we got to our turn to order, we said "hello" several times and waited about 5 min. No response. So we drove up to the window and didn't see anyone inside. Knocked on the window, no response. We wasted about 15 min of our time to not get served. We drove out and noticed that the car behind us was able to order. WTF??? So did they take a break or was there no one to cover? I really like this Jack in the Box and generally I like the food they create. I've been a fan of their Jumbo Jack, Regular Tacos, Chicken Bowls, Panko Onion Rings, and coffee. They have this Ribeye Havarti Grilled Onion Ribeye that is pretty tasty on a potato bun. They also have a drink called Splash that I've been drinking everytime I visit. The stores always seem to be clean, especially the bathrooms. But the best reason I like this place is because it's right off the freeway. It's like easy come, easy go off the 101. It seems like every time I visit any Jack in the Box the food is always consistently good, so bravo to the executives who make this franchise a great place to eat and visit. read more

Every time we order here, something is wrong. This time it wasn't too bad, ordered a jumbo jack with secret sauce and they put mustard and no sauce. Also, since when are the patties square? We've always had round patties before. With a square patty, it's definitely less meat and more bun. Also, they never give me napkins at the drivethrough. One time, I ordered a breakfast sandwich for my granddaughter and it came with lettuce. When I took it back, the worker just grabbed it and said in spanish to another worker to " remove the lettuce and rewrap it for this old woman." I'm a blue-eyed caucasian and I speak fluent Spanish, so when I told him in Spanish that I wasn't THAT old, he didn't even apologize. I'm done with this place. I understand, that with a customer service based fast food restaurant, they can have periods of rush hours. I arrived about 6:30 pm on Friday night and they had a long line at the drive thru. I parked and went inside. There were no one standing in line. The manage told me it would be a few minutes and he then would be with me. He looked very confused was running around in circles. I patiently waited over 20 minutes for them to just take my order. I watched as they continue to fill the drive thru orders they had pending. Again, I was the only one in line inside trying to order. I then noticed they were taking new orders from the drive thru. It was one thing to wait for them to fill the previous orders, but when they continued to take orders through the drive thru as I just stood there and no one took my order. I walked out at 7:00 pm. Unless they have different crews on a Friday night, I would avoid this place unless you have a couple hours to enjoy your fast food. read more
